How do you become the person you will need to be to achieve your wants: spiritual, success, business, interpersonal, etc? I mean stuff like: Habits, behavior, thought patterns, worldview, self-concept, identity, the subconscious etc. I have improved plenty lately, but I feel like I can improve so much faster if I learn more about this subject. I want more than just simple goal setting and habit tracking, and all that. How do you change fundamentally as a person, at the core? What are some authors/sources, practices, and sub-fields, or personal experiences you guys have when it comes to this topic? Thanks

@Leo Gura I have heard that you are creating a course on changing you subconscious mind. Could you share your favorite books on the topic on your book list, or other sources etc on your blog? Thanks

@Entrepreneur Logical reasons is only the start of making new habits and directions. Logic is good for finding and prioritizing things you want to change in your life but. Its when you really feel and connect with what you want to do on an emotional level, in your actual doing of it that the habit sticks. Lets say you go on the internet and you find out about meditation or cardio exercise and its logical reasons for participating in it. The logic might be enough to try it for a couple weeks. But the logic isn't really enough to convince your mind that its worth the energy. Its when you really feel and see the potential of it its positive effects that it really becomes a part of who you are, and if you don't create this connection you will eventually fail. The question is then: What conscious actions can you partake in to create this emotional connection to whatever you want to implement into your life?

@Ulax Thank you, i will put one of them on my e-reader.
-
Thats intresting. Do you have any resources that would be a good entry point to start practicing ifs?
-
-
@Ulax Yes, chat gpt recommended it too when i prompted it a similar question along with other therapies actually like CBT. How would you use it? To look for and sort-of unify parts of yourself that in conflict towards your pursuit?

To me its no different then my other bodily needs, there is no magical cum energy. At least not in my balls.

All true and wise. But you are not black pilled enough For me to pull this off i first need to get the security and autonomy so that i can sit and meditate all day. Also its fun, and life would be lame if you could just meditate it all away.

Im not sure. basically my conditioning and identiy as a whole like everyone i would say. The human mind is very slow and puts up a bunch of friction to make big changes, and they take a long time to get set. What i am wondering is how i can loosen up my mind to make changes easier, ways to to kindof program my mind to aid in these changes. Or if there is no such things, just tips for how to grind it out and stay on track.

@Salvijus Me getting locked-in ^

Thank you guys, great responses! But to be more specific. How do i change myself, kinda like brainwash myself to become a top performer like an athlete? That relentlessness, clarity and discipline to get whatever needs to get done. To set your mind to something and execute. That kind of deal.

Its relative. Compared to committing illegal activities, yes. Also depends on the safety and characteristic of whatever supplement we are talking about.
-
@Hojo The boost that i get from psychedelics that feel like more awareness and free will fades in my experience. That and their illegality makes them something that i cant rely on. But im interested if there is supplements that will have a similar effect.
-
I want more sustainable ways. After you take psychedelics you can for sure feel your neuro plasticity getting groovy, but i don't want to be reliant on them either. What do you mean lol?
-
Yes this is great, i read atomic habits and implemented "The Four Laws of Behavior Change" type stuff. Now i am more on the look put for more Psychological and neurosciency ways to change.

Obsidian is nice, you can turn it into whatever you need it to be with plugins. But i recommend just ignoring the obsidian youtube sphere, they over complicate things and play around with gimmicks like graph view imo. Its best to keep it as simple as possible and when in your day to day use actually think "I wish i could do x" you look for those extensions.

IMO burning karma is to see the whole truth in what you are doing. If you want to go party/ socialize or run your business, if you do it unconsciously it can corrupt you and you will not get those desires out since you never see truth. Basically what you do is when you do a thing, like making money or whatever you always reflect on it and see whats true. For example: You will see that the way you are acting is literally ugly if you are involved in unethical business practice for example. If you engage in materialism like buying a luxury item observe how its just a object like any other and wont make you happy. Etc. I don't have any resources for this. Leos videos on Karma, Integrity and Introspection maybe but i assume you have seen those. You just need to develop introspection, care of truth and feel into things. But don't worry too much about being ethical, life is a jungle and you will get eaten if you are not selfish enough.

This to goes hard:
-
Get a Ipad with a keyboard or a laptop 2-1 with a stylus. That way you can switch between a pen for drawing math/chemistry and the keyboard for writing.

Did 5 grams for a couple of months. Personally i did not feel anything. I have not really found any nootropics that have wowed me. Except perhaps L-Theanine, but i use it more for sleep and settling my mind if i need to do something stressful.

And why do people have weak trips? Is it simply a lack of intention and focus during the trip? How do you create potent trips?
