MightyMind replied to SwiftQuill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events I mentioned Austria. I gave an example and asked questions. But you then talk about elsewhere, why? Here's another example that shows the islamic doctrine when taken literally, as many do, it leads to what? You and others can interpret it differently all you want, and yet others will interpret it literally and in a way which justifies what? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HssQzoq6yU

MightyMind replied to SwiftQuill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events @Elliott thank you for sharing. that does sound nice. but what, what you say and I say are both true? What if both of us are speaking to realities that are real? If what I say is also true, then what comes with it? what are the implications of where that could take a culture? Most western nations are having a huge demographic change and so with that will come a change in world view and value system, would it not? What are the implications when it comes to law, justice, enforcement? Sharia law, I'm sure you're aware of, and so take a look at Austria, and ask how that aligns with Austrian culture? Who determines where this goes? At this point, one might chime in, "but they're not all like that!".....to which I'd reply, again you are correct but that doesn't negate the point I point to. And so when it does not go well, then how does that look? Remember both can be true and so what does that mean? what potentials comes with that? Should this not be examined?

MightyMind replied to SwiftQuill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events @Elliott "The US...", is one just nation of the west...read more slowly But yes, some level of immigration can be good, but what does that have to do with what I'm conveying? Suggestion: Go online and spend a month of looking at footage of western nations and cities which are filled with those who are clearly not of that culture. If you make an effort, you should be able to find what I'm referring to, but that's just a starting point.

MightyMind replied to SwiftQuill's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events @SwiftQuill mass immigration across the west isn't accidental. The lack of infrastructure to support the numbers all the while the local population pays for expenses but if you question it people assume you're bad or racist, it ain't accidental. Considering that there was conversation for decades about population decline there could have been incentives and support for the local population to produce more kids but instead the pseudo representatives encouraged to import many different cultures with many different value systems and world views into one's country, and to think it would be a "strength"...only one who is ignorant to the world and range of differences would propose such an idea....it isn't accidental, it isn't a mistake

@Judy2 to help you regulate and balance your emotional space I'd consider finding a community that focuses on breathwork and/or dance. 5 rhythms is an awesome approach to dance which can help you access and move that which is obstructed/suppressed. For most people meditation and talk therapy won't do it for them.

I've recently came across the native, Robert Morning Star and he shares an account of his grandfather's interaction with a star being while on a vision quest. The following video is a fascinating listen and account of humanity's creation and the creation of religions. Whether true or not, it's very imaginative and thought provoking. My question for this post is, what other indigenous and people's from long ago mention the idea of star beings who have influenced our creation and or development? Any thoughts or input would be appreciated. For some reason when I add the link it doesn't go through. If you're curious you can find the video on youtube titled, Star Elders by Robert Morning Sky | Part 1 of 4
