  1. Thanks for putting words to something I've been noticing a lot recently within the psychedelic space. The appeal to nature is so odd to me, especially when you realize that everything in a lab is still "natural" from a wider perspective. Anything humans make in a lab is = the earth making it = the universe making it. I think a lot of people over romanticize nature and shamanic traditions, completely forgetting that your brain does not care about the origin of a molecule. If the psychedelics are working, then the conceptual boundary between natural and synthetic should completely dissolve.

  7. I was never able to moderate so I quit completely. 6 months sober from weed and its one of the best decisions I've ever made. Way more stable energy / emotions.
  8. You must not have seen the 10th and last ox-herding picture from Zen
  9. @Leo Gura Just finished watching both parts, it seemed like it was a fruitful discussion given the podcast style format and worldviews of the hosts. I thought your wisdom and insight was well on display and you articulated your perspective / thoughts very well. I have to ask though, what did you mean by "blood" and "holes in walls" from your awakenings? Can you elaborate? The shitting on the floor was pretty self-evident, lol. Either way, good job. Looking forward to seeing more appearances like this.
  10. Makes sense. Thanks for keeping us updated.
  11. The forum is loading incredibly fast on my end. It was definitely not like this before the migration.

  13. Its a bit more north of where you will be, but seeing the redwoods is absolutely worth it. There is nothing like those trees. I've seen them many times and am shocked by their majesty and presence.
  14. Sweet sounds good
  15. @Leo Gura I'm sure you've been asked this but do you know when DemystifySci will drop your episode? I check every few days and still haven't seen it
  16. @Natasha Tori Maru @Joshe thanks for your input.
  17. Recently I have been experimenting using ChatGPT for general life advice, asking questions about conflicts at my work, how to best handle those situations, questions about not taking antipsychotic medication, etc. I'm curious what the forum thinks: Is it a bad idea to lean on ChatGPT for advice such as this? For me it sort of feels like Jarvis in the Iron Man series - a sidekick that can objectively view situations and give you feedback without emotion or distortion - but I also feel like this may be limiting my own independent thought process at arriving at my own conclusions. What do you all think? Would love to hear your thoughts.
  18. That blog post was profound.
  19. Sounds exciting. Have you thought about running it back with Curt now that it's been some years? Or has that ship sailed
  20. Interesting. I'm not sure then.
  21. I've seen this first hand where I work. Coworkers are willing to spend $60 on a pack of 7-OH every two days but can barely pay their rent or buy food to eat.
