Yeah lol. I can't use it anymore because of previous psychotic episodes, but it's okay. It was really damaging my life and my ability to live, think, and take action at a high level. Sort of a blessing in disguise in a way.

A lot of it has gotta be genetics, how early in life you started using cannabis, and how many psychedelics you've used before really experimenting with the herb. I'm sure someone like Leo who has done plenty of DMT before diving into cannabis completely changes your relationship to it. For someone like me, who started using it heavily at 15 all the way to age 25, it became something very different. Interesting to think about.

Leo what do you think is happening with people who use cannabis multiple times a day, every day? I remember when I was smoking that if I took a long enough break then came back to cannabis, it was incredibly profound and enlightening. Then I would start using it daily and it would slowly pull me down into a pit of fog and unconsciousness.

@Leo Gura do you have any insights or thoughts for me on this? would be cool to hear your perspective (or maybe a new video on leadership)

I have an opportunity to manage the smoke shop I work at that has a total of 7 employees. This came to me after the current manager has dropped the ball and failed at executing basic managerial tasks over the last few months. The owner of this smoke shop (and the 7 other locations they own across 3 states) told me she really values my perspective and appreciates my consistent hard work. She then asked if I would be interested in managing. I said yes. Keep in mind, this location is popping. Around 150-200 customers every day, a full warehouse with shipments coming in and out, etc. If I get this position, what advice would you have? I am 25, about to turn 26. Most of my other coworkers are aged 21-35. All of my coworkers are women, and one of them (one of the youngest at age 23, who has only been working for around 5 months) has been campaigning hard and lobbying to be manager. Her and her best friend (the mean girl clique at the store) basically did a pseudo-coup and threatened the current manager to step up or she would be fired. This younger employee seemed like the only option to replace her until the owner asked me if I would be interested. (Up until this point I have been laying low and executing. I did no power grab. Dark horse vibes). It is an interesting dynamic. Anything helps. Thank you.

Thanks for putting words to something I've been noticing a lot recently within the psychedelic space. The appeal to nature is so odd to me, especially when you realize that everything in a lab is still "natural" from a wider perspective. Anything humans make in a lab is = the earth making it = the universe making it. I think a lot of people over romanticize nature and shamanic traditions, completely forgetting that your brain does not care about the origin of a molecule. If the psychedelics are working, then the conceptual boundary between natural and synthetic should completely dissolve.

I was never able to moderate so I quit completely. 6 months sober from weed and its one of the best decisions I've ever made. Way more stable energy / emotions.

For the record, in our shop we don't sell crack pipes. Most baddies that come in just want a vape, like a real refined woman of the modern era. When they ask, "What's a good vape?" I look them in the eyes and say: "I like the sweet tasting ones"

Bro's roasting me

I'm in a really interesting position working at a smoke shop where I get to talk to probably 10-15 attractive girls a night, 5 nights a week. The sheer volume of girls I talk to has made it so much easier not to hang on any one dud interaction, which rarely happen because I'm usually in such a good flow state from talking to people all night.

@Leo Gura Just finished watching both parts, it seemed like it was a fruitful discussion given the podcast style format and worldviews of the hosts. I thought your wisdom and insight was well on display and you articulated your perspective / thoughts very well. I have to ask though, what did you mean by "blood" and "holes in walls" from your awakenings? Can you elaborate? The shitting on the floor was pretty self-evident, lol. Either way, good job. Looking forward to seeing more appearances like this.
