  1. Most people are weak and inept, because of innate and environmental factors. Not being weak and inept is for the lucky few. which means doing socialist action is their best bet. Just because you are one of the few eagles flying around who can even contemplate making a 100M business doesn't mean you can expand this idea to everyone. Moreover, eagles are only possible if there are rats walking around for them to feed on. Women didn't have rights and use socialist action to gain them. No other action or business would have done it for them.
  2. What's that hyperbole supposed to mean? some profound truth? I really don't get it, is it supposed to point at the fact that the top of people have so much money even 100M is nothing compared to it?
  3. That doesn't mean "social change" is not possible. Also, the French Revolution destroyed more than it created? Lol. It was basically the beginning of democracy and liberalism in the west. Slave revolts are social activism as well. The general claim you made is just incorrect IMO.
  4. Leo dissing me by calling me poor is something I never knew I wanted, but now can't imagine my life without.
  5. "Here's the cold truth that leftists don't want to look in the face: business is a much more powerful mechanism of social change than political activism." Hard disagree. You're looking at this from an individualistic perspective. Socialists know that a few people doing activism won't do shit. The entire idea of socialist action is to rouse up all the working people and create a revolution. If 40% of working people organize and protest, the capitalist system gets overthrown in a day. I'm noticing more and more these liberal, individualist axioms and assumptions that Leo makes in his points, probably without realizing I'm suspecting this is because of his American culture-fed presumptions. The idea of "changing the world through a 100M business" is a silly idea. Not because it's not true that one individual doing that would have an astronomical impact on society compared to other individuals, clearly it does, but all individuals roused up make a 100M business look like nothing in comparison. It's also obvious that history backs up my claim, French Revolution, Russian Revolution, etc. Now, I'm not saying such revolutions lead to better outcomes, not at all. And I do think that a 100M ethical biz is the best way forward right now and not some revolution. But the idea that social change is not caused by political activism is silly to me. We've just gotten accustomed to big capital and neoliberal hegemony basically making political activism dickless. In the 20th century, socialists like the Black Panthers and Fred Hampton posed a real threat to the US state.
  6. @Leo Gura With abandoning luxury, do you mean always opting for the frugal options like that mp3 player you posted instead of an iPod for example? The only advantage of the iPod would be that it looks better and has a better UI. Would I have dirtied my soul a bit when going for the iPod for that reason according to you? And going for a Macbook that is 4kUSD instead of a 1800USD laptop, even when the Macbook has actual use cases that make it better than the laptop, would that be luxury, since the price is so high, even when taking in account the use cases? Also take into account that some people (like me) just like the idea of luxury items. Yes it's ego driven, but I don't really see how it hinders understanding reality, apart from the time lost trying to fund them or parade them. I understand reality better than everyone I know IRL but it has nothing to do with the level of my ego.
  7. I've been there. You need a spiritual reason not to commit suicide in my opinion. Only those reasons that your highest self holds on to can make you live through the greatest pain. Study some Buddhist and Sufi stuff. Their teachings recognize the deep poverty and pain of life and revolve a lot of their teachings around it. Leo's teachings are more about finding pure truth on one hand, and actualizing your potential / life purpose on the other hand. It doesn't really teach you how to go through shit like this. I also recommend you do some trauma healing by doing Teal Swan practices. This audio got me through it many times: And you are still young, you can still actualize success and your life purpose. But devise a strategy of life with failure in mind.
  8. Bro are you alright? What are you talking about here?
  9. When i see stuff like this i see the bright side of never having been in a romantic relationship
  10. When you leosplain to us it hurts most of all.

  12. Doesn't your argument get conflated by the fact that since Israel is more economically developed? It's easier too seem moral and "not use nukes" if you have the upper hand by 10x. Israel can seem moral by not nuking, because they don't need to. It's better for them to cause a slow death for Palestine. Moderate Israelis outsource their savagery to the extreme Israelis. If all extreme Israelis dropped dead, moderate Israelis took their place. Isn't it also a blatant fact that the entire country of Israel is an illegal colonialist state? Why else do the liberals always say "Jews deserve a homeland", because if they don't spout that platitude, they know the settling of Israel would be seen as completely illegal by everyone. it's akin to the Spaniards taking America from the natives. Are we really gonna act like these factors don't count when factoring the level of savagery and moral development? I'm not saying Hamas is not savage obviously. they clearly are
  13. I never insinuated I was anywhere on his level. I just meant that it's possible to arrive at solipsism through sober contemplation without being a genetic freak, which you seemed to imply was needed.
  14. 1. Are you actually claiming the "muhh natural DMT release from the pineal gland" for Ralston? that he is literally high on DMT all the time? 2. It's not genetic freakery, since I have realised it from one spiritual experience (chemically induced), and many sober contemplations after. Like you said in the "original proofs of God" video , it's nothing special, but just sitting down and going through the logic of existence. I'm an egoic guy and unwise and immature most of the time. I'm not like ralston at all. yet I've still realised it.
  15. if any form of human consensus holds any weight to you, I pity you. It's not about Leo's position, but about realizing the inherent unreality of anything beyond appearance and consciousness. Solipsism is just the inevitable conclusion of that.
  16. Because checking if Christianity would be true would require looking beyond the phenomena - which is impossible and requires imagining things beyond appearance. Like I said, Solipsism is the only thing which you can totally check from the inside. all other worldviews require an external truth. The question is more, "can there be anything outside of my consciousness" ? If no, solipsism is proven by default. I'm claiming it isn't possible because what it means to "be" is that it exists within consciousness. I can never prove it to you this way because you can keep doubting whether things can exist outside of consciousness. And thats the dead end. But why continue to assume projections can come from outside , and not inside? Ibn Arabi is saying the projections are coming from inside, the core of your being; God. The projections are not coming from outside. There is no outside, there is only an infinite inside. This is all you witness so why imagine this outside which you have zero proof of? You're playing semantic games to fool yourself.
  17. You expect me to take seriously ChatGPTs conclusion when it comes to these manners? UNITY = SOLIPSISM and it can not be any other way. The funny thing about Islam and Sufism is that it explicitly states that God is completely alone. All "mystical traditions" never get explicit about the truth, even when they might realize it themself. You really expect some medieval guru to tell you about solipsism the way Leo does? The moment you realize solipsism, your human life ends. So it was never the case that any one human is real while others are not. stop conflating the human with Al-Haqq , all humanity is just a projection of God. there are no philosophical zombies because everything is CONSCIOUSNESS. I'm starting to sound like Leo, and I'm not claiming to have Awakened like him or whatever, all that shit doesn't really matter, its just that other minds are so obviously an illusion at this point, and most people just deny it out of cope, and I get that, I've done it for years. Believing in other minds is just another form of materialism but now with cool new-age or religious flavours to it. In the end there's either materialism or solipsism, the matrix or the real.
  18. Which is exactly why Christianity cannot be true. Absolute infinity makes it so that no other infinity can actually exist, only as an illusion. Just like you will never count up the number line till infinity, the infinity of Christianity can never exist, since its existence would destroy the original absolute Infinity. Any underlying "grand narrative" cannot ever exist as the fundament of reality, precisely because it is external to reality, like a wizard of Oz. Solipsism is the only "grand narrative" that stays entirely internal to reality.
  19. "All selves are rays of God, not projections of one person’s dream." "All selves are rays of God, projections of Gods dream."
  20. Yes, it's somehow soothing to know all your suffering will only be yours. It's weird really, why it would be soothing. Can't quite put my finger on it. The surrendering to the inevitability of it I guess. Thanks for always having being blunt about this topic, Leo. I thought it was the worst thing ever but now see that it is the highest good. Somehow maturity came to me (in this line of development) when I thought I would never be able to grok it. Suffering as a human also helped in seeing solipsism as potentially good. When you're having a party, it's a buzzkill to find out you were just partying with yourself. When you're suffering massively, the beauty of it is revealed.
  21. @Leo Gura I'm confused as to why you do not judge Israel's actions as terrorism. I'm no expert in the field, but when I look at the definition of terrorism on wikipedia: "Terrorism, in its broadest sense, is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims." Do you honestly believe Israel is not purposefully bombing civilians to scare them and make a political point that they are the ones in charge? The most radical branch of Israel's government like Ben Gvir also have a religious reason behind their bombings, for them it's a straight up holy war to take out the evil arabs who are goyim and not like them, similar to ISIS etc. How is this not terrorism?
  22. the solipsism is actually a result of not making any further inferences beyond the qualia.
  23. @Leo Gura A few years back you made the argument for solipsism from a moral point of view. I believe it went something like this: "God is so selfless it doesn't create any other, but bears all the torrents of consciousness itself" I thought that was a beautiful explanation and looking back it really hit a snare in me. Consciousness going through whatever, only for the sake of loving itself and being itself. Reminds me of Jesus on the cross.
