The I that suffers will always knowingly suffer. There’s no escape from suffering, regardless of what James says to the contrary. It’s really okay to suffer, and doesn’t make you any less enlightened. When suffering is recognised to be impersonal, that’s liberation from the false idea it’s personal, that’s all. The knower of suffering is also the known suffering in the exact same instance of knowing. One with the knowing. As knower and known is one thing. Just as there’s no smoke without fire, the smoke is not the fire, so the smoke can only be known to be what it is because the source of the smoke (fire) is known too.

I say it only as I know it to be truth for me. I only know myself, not others. I have zero access to another’s synthetic thought processing system. For me, I imagine I’m doing the work that needs to be done, only to realise and recognise there is no separate me doing the work, and that actions are only what’s happening, for no one. For me, this recognition is the paradoxical nature of human self-actualisation. It’s all still what’s happening as and through an imagined dream character, appearing as me here.

I agree that to get milk from the fridge requires one to do that action. That’s just what’s unconditionally happening. Including the clever game of doership claiming.

I hear you too. But I interpret his saying there is no work to be done differently from you that’s all. It’s different that’s all. In my humble opinion. It’s true there’s work to be done on the road to self actualisation. Is this truth real, or is this truth simply a truth dreamt or even imagined?

@Wilhelm44 I just happen to believe the journey can start anywhere. I also believe there’s nowhere that the journey cannot begin. Ultimately, I believe the destination is the exact same for every traveler anyway. So to me, every path leads to the same place, so it doesn’t matter how staggered the maze along the way gets, the ultimate destination is the same for everyone. A journey that begins ultimately will end. That’s a fact. Mine ended. Now I’m just reflecting on the dream characters I met along the way, with admiration.

@Wilhelm44 I’ve done the work. The not enough thoughts have all vanished here, for me, anyway. No one here is obligated to believe me, of course, and that’s their entitled prerogative to do so. Ultimately only I know what I know. I just happen to enjoy listening to the ramblings of Benjamin Smyth. Couldn’t care less what other people say about him. I am open to listen to everyone, and when I do I then make up my own mind about what I’ve listened to. I particularly enjoy listening to Leo Gura videos and comments too.

Deeds are done, no doer ( thing) thereof. Further investigation reveals there is no independent existence of every ( thing) around you. There is nothing to be found.

Nothing happens in a dream. And words are also the dream. The dream is recognised for what it is, that’s all.

The dream word is all there is.

Genuine question to all who post and read here. Is A.I. …God’s creation, and therefore harmless? And why is there so much fear surrounding the A.I. era. I’ve heard a lot lately that A.I. Is probably going to be the end of humanity. Why do people believe this? You’re thoughts?

I’ve just this minute thought about this …why God cannot be seen. Try the mirror trick. Notice as you look into a mirror, the mirror never smiles first. So you are not the image you see of yourself in the mirror. You are actually invisible. This is the pure magical beauty of the absent presence of God.
