  1. 'The mind had to be first about the body, or it could not have been' Antonio Damasio
  2. I think where I am not, therefore I am where I do not think. Is what thinks in my place, then, another I ?
  3. Good point. “The self is a repeatedly reconstructed biological state” "The mind is implanted in the brain, and the brain is implanted in the body".
  4. Infinity, beginnings, ends, life, death are all parts of the same reality, are just made-up useful concepts, and don't exist in isolation. I read a comment on this forum the other day by Leo Gura. It said “ Infinity is Death” but I can’t remember whereabouts I’d seen it written, I mean which thread it was on. Anyways, I thought about it a lot because it resonates deeply as just another concept that cannot know anything about anything because concepts have no awareness of their existence. What are your thoughts about this?
  5. Maybe cuz you are the knowing that cannot be known. Infinity as it is known is simply the eternal now of not knowing presence. Who would deny or negate this?
  6. Physical death is the end of an illusory knowledge that I have been born so will die. The end of thought. Not the end of infinity.
  7. Physical death is only painful for others not you.
  8. You Are death. But you are NOT dead. If you were dead, you would not be death.
  9. You are the grim reaper himself. No one dies except you.
  10. Epicurus: "If I am, death is not. If death is, I am not. Why fear that which cannot exist when I do?".
  11. I think you are onto something. I think you may have a good story, possibly a best seller. What did you title your book. Let me imagine, what about (How not to look through the wrong end of the telescope) ?
  12. What if God was one of us. Just a slob like one of us. No ivory towers please. Get off your soapbox.
  13. There’s just emptiness looking at emptiness ( awareness )
  14. The story is inseparable from the book. Many authors appear, but there is only ONE reader reading all stories that no one ever writ.
  15. The disbelief in God’s existence is the belief there is God’s existence that is not a belief. Am I seeing double. ♾️
  16. Well of course no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to believe that story you have lurking around inside your mind. Probably best you just allow it it’s freedom, and stop supplying it rent free space, just so it can clutter up your mind.
