  1. The video was wonderful, basically, but the length was an issue. I agree with the conceptions that were provided but it may be bit elementary, but has some good inspirations and understandings that are able to be applied to our lives as awarenesses that provides a greater sense of 'being'.
  2. I agree that such derogations would be truly upsetting to one's personal empathies. However, one may take another point of view, they, those who you feel so despondent over, are actually 'making a living' in providing what they do. Of course, if would be wonderful if they had better circumstances and outcomes as they toil away their life. My wonderful Mother was as you describe, She worked long, long hours to produce enough money to feed the family (3 of us, no Daddy). In time She developed skills that lead Her to other 'jobs' and finally She 'clicked' with a job that was Her's the rest of Her life, it was not a wonderful job, I worked there of almost a year but found it truly degrading, but I was young and vibrant, endless energy and needed to do something exhausting so I would be able to sleep peacefully at night. One truly doesn't understand the natures of another, not even in the family, for each has their own, respected, goals. I seldom question one's desires to 'do something' that is not in my nature, for, I am not them and have not a single clue to what they are trying to achieve. I am expressing the infinite as well as the finite, so where one goes, there they are (in their entire spectrum. Leo's videos are not truly meant to be 'soothing and peaceful' entertainment, they remain as sharp as a razor and if one is not careful, one will eventually get 'cut' (hurt) by such information, if one is not able to accept them as 'serving' us in our best interests. Many will, without a doubt, baulk at such fundamentally disturbing information, yet, it is only meant to 'serve' us, not prevent us from becoming whatever we desire. You stated that you are distraught over the implications that 'we' Westerners have it so 'easy' and are dependent upon others to 'serve' us, but, would you desire it to be the otherway around? Would you truly desire to be the 'servant' and not the recipient of such things? I am in constant gratitude that at all the wonderful 'things' that I have or able to provide for myself and family. I see abundance in our Nation and many are coming here to find the 'golden ring' of opportunity and many are finding it. My Parents immigrated to the US, as many have and are still doing, I am truly 'blessed' by such as what occurred before I was born. I have no needs, wants and very little desires at this time, I have abundance no matter if it is only a simple abundance, it remains abundantly available and such it wonderful to have available to them. good luck on your journeys and I hope you find the 'golden ring' of your desires.
  3. Teaga, I have been meditating for over 40 years and still haven't mastered it, so don't think you are not 'doing it properly', however, I don't focus on anything in particular, in fact, I would have to admit that I don't focus on a 'thing' or 'no-thing', I actually found it most enjoyable when I visualize the Universe (for lack of a better name) to be my audience and I speak to the Universe as I would if I were able to speak to an assembly of people. Perhaps this is not orthodox, but, since I never read about meditation I only practiced it as best as I was able to in the conceptions of my 'mind', however, this has certainly brought me out of Panic Attacks (completely gone) and debilitating anxieties. If there is a hell, Panic Attacks may be the 'grandaddy' of them all. However, if you are able to find you 'center' the 'heart/soul' of your being, this is not hard as it sounds, just look inside it is always there, and project yourself outward to the known Universe (as a start), you may receive a sense of endlessness which would signify that you are now projecting yourself beyond the confines of the 'body/ego', this will probably cause a reaction, even if it is 'fear', do not retreat unless you 'feel' a need to. I have found this method to be most enlightening as well as invigorating, yet, please, if you 'feel' uncomfortable doing such, leave it, don't continue until you are able to find a way to address any uncomfortableness in such things, I, personally, don't see any reason to be uncomfortable, but, I am not a professional and am only giving you a possible way to meditate according to 'me', which, obviously does not exist.
  4. It would seem, that what is termed prayer, would be 'self fulfilling' and not as much as 'giving' to another, yet it may provide one with the illusion that they are providing something beyond their personal powers for another which would give a 'feeling' of being in accordance with the Divine natures of the Universal. In other words, praying for someone else may seem to be of a loving nature but it may be more of a selfish nature in acquiring a sense of accomplishment which may not be enjoyed by such as the 'other' person, in true reality. That being said, one who perceives prayer to be a way to interact with god, allows one to perceive the 'non-connection' with, such as, god. Yet, to 'feel' like one is creating a 'goodness' in one's 'heart/soul' would be of value to the 'self', which may be all there is to provide for. Yet, such provisions, as wonderful as they feel as times, is truly only a 'mind game' that plays on one's ego which, in essence, quiets the need to be greater than one's self. as one is able to perceive themselves at such times. It may be of a greater value to understand that one is part of the ultimate expressions and if one desires to provide something of value to one's self, one may just have a 'conversation' with that 'higher essence' without the need to 'bow before' what would be termed god. Meditation works wonders, if one is able to be truthful in such meditations, for, in such states of awareness, one will ask many questions and if one is truthful with one's self, will eventually find the 'truth' of what lies deeper in one's suppressed consciousness.
