@OlafFor me it's always been long walks, sometimes running or both. During these walks i just let myself feel and think whatever that comes up. Usually some feeling is already there before i start. Somehow the physical nature of walk and run helps body and mind to go through the troublesome feelings. I'm not always aware of what's going on, but at the end of it it's usually better. Some days are much better when i do see the fears, thoughts and assumptions behind the feelings and that's when i have a prolonged sense of calm. I guess understanding handles things on it's own, once understood the being takes over and takes care of it in due time.

If you want to read something that can really help you, then maybe read something from Anthony De Mello. Depending on how ready you are, It could completely transform you. Don't assume that nothing can help you, this will close your mind and you wont' help yourself. Since as you may know our beliefs create our reality and when we are assume something we look at things from that assumption hence blocking ourselves, like a kind of self fulfilling prophecy. Healing is not something that you do, you just create the circumstances for it by understanding what's actually happening. And healing happens as a consequence. Check this video (there are very few of these, but any video or book you take go till the end, give yourself a decent chance):

It's correct that specificity of experience doesn't prove the general deductive assumption. But your conclusion of infinite experiences doesn't follow from this. One specific experience doesn't saying anything about how many other experiences there are. It's simply silent on that topic. -

Whatever Jiddu was doesn't matter, what he said matters and how it can help someone realize the truth matters. So it doesn't matter either you are right are wrong about him. -
I don't know where to categorize this country in spiral dynamics model. But somehow they came up to rescue the world, isn't this ironic?

I guess you are right to some extent, things are not that black and white. Some of these countries do have time tested conservative values which may work better in certain situations. However i do prefer first world for the overall freedom it offers, though it has it's vices for sure. -

Yeah, we don't know the actual story. But in past they used to have better stories for people at-least while they handled the business. -

Yeah, it's clearly misplaced, relying on third world country barely above lunatic red to broker peace for the world. Hahaha -
Yes, the models are increasingly becoming domain specific after Claude success at coding, that's basically all the recent success of AI is about, domain specific skills and tools.

This seems like hate speech to me. You can either pick one or many from Middle East. -

Why do you need to share the insight? -
Well, you'll have to look into your actions, what are the motives? why you do what you do? Mostly we have superficial reasons that we tell ourselves as stories. And usually we stick with stories that we like and repeat them until they stop working, That's what happens when you are not motivated enough for something and with time you figure out another story that can keep you moving. Usually these stories take the form a stick or carrot, rather a bit of both. Happy people have more carrots then sticks and vice versa. But actual motives are not these stories. Once we understand those motives, then it gets simpler to act as needed. But until we do that, you need some kind of a goal (carrot) or a serious problem(stick) to keep you moving. Since you have a problem motivating you i would recommend that you add a goal around it something positive that you like, that can motivate you. Secondly don't assume that goal with take care of itself, whenever you feel like lagging behind you have to decide again that you want this goal or this problem solved. It's like taking same decision again and again until it isn't needed and becomes a habit. All the best!

It's a meaningless question. There is no such thing as "your own country".

I personally understand "Truth" in terms what's really the case, instead of what i may want it to be. In that sense what i may want is a sort of illusion compared to actually what's real or true. I also understand Honesty/Integrity as to be aligned with reality or "Truth" instead of what i may want truth to be. Your purpose in that sense is something created by you and can only exist in the context of "Truth" or reality not a fantasy or illusion. Ultimately the question is, If i can delude myself to be happy for rest of my life, is that acceptable? If it is for you then focus on life purpose, if no focus on "Truth". However two are not mutually exclusive.

@integration journey I quit smoking and few other things, and did some changes to life style overall around 11 years ago. It all stuck, probably those are the reasons that, I'm still breathing. To start take a clear decision, but usually people think that once you take a decision it should take care of itself, that's not correct. Because you will be reminded of it again and again by your memories, behavior patterns as well as surroundings. All those are not in your control. So take a decision and repeat the same decision as many times as needed.

Makes sense! Leo could be right or wrong, same goes for Ralston. One can't just believe them. It depends on what you are willing try for yourself. -
Yeah, in that sense even our immediate experience isn't 100% too.We are not experiencing reality but our interpretation of it. So there is nothing 100% in that sense. If there is something that is 100% it's not in the domain of language, perceptions, concepts and sensations, So neither we can think of it or talk about it, So let's not waste our time. But to have any conversation we have to agree on some context. Your question was from an assumed context and i responded from that.

Why you are calling them conspiracy theories if they are correct? If correctness can be shown in anyway, it's no more a conspiracy theory.
-
You totally missed what i wrote somehow, which is understandable, since AI can very easily amplify one's biases by giving them what they want to see. You are right though in that sense it's your side kick, amplifying your biases. These incidents are off-course regrettable and shouldn't be celebrated. But Haters will hate anyway.

1. Why is that he was able to do what he did and many others didn't ? What part of his ability came naturally to him? 2. He talks about getting something happening in ones experience, Ask him how one can start from his words to ideas to actual experience, since in books and talks we just have his words. Even if i move from words to ideas somehow and then actual experience, i mean how? I would have to invent it and wont' be sure? Probably he'll suggest one of the workshops i guess. 3. I would loved to see him expand on principle of honesty that he talks about and how it relates with truth and reality. 4. He says suffering is self created and solution is to stop have problematic thoughts i.e. recognize pattern and stop having them, how does he propose one do that. If i observe a thought, it is something as external as external world it's lightening fast, which he accepts too, i mean what is he trying to say? Is he creating his own thoughts? Or he is saying that once "you get it" somehow trouble making thoughts won't happen. I mean one can recognize thoughts after they happen but is he saying that watching them day after day after day, gradually it changes is that it? And until that happens one needs to be working on them. -

I'm not sure if there is someone like that, who will punish anyone about their use of words. However i think you are right in the sense that It doesn't mean anything, considering purely the context in which this word has been used and secondly it doesn't help anyone. It's just a spiritual rebellion sort of. Like young kids smoking to rebel , because it's perceived as prohibited. Psychedelics are same no matter whatever kind of twisted logic someone invents for it.. It's interesting in that sense! -
Good luck with the AI doing thinking for you. Seriously though I agree it's a set back but Dubai will bounce back quickly. Why? Look around, it's not that Dubai has any stiff competition, and people like it enough to stick around for quite a while. The big majority of people who are living in Dubai are there for Decades, It takes way more then a war like this, to change their minds and hearts. What is actually more likely is Dubai and UAE in general will just slightly rebrand itself as resilient.

I don't disagree or agree with what is said, some of the stuff is interesting and other isn't. I don't get too personally involved in it. I must say though, that generally most of the topics just slip into some kind of gossip back and forth or a kind of ego clash, it's common and almost every post is like that, Leo participates in it too or Probably encourages it, for some other worldly "Godly" reasons that mere mortals like me can't understand. However it gets uninteresting for me. Example: Recently there was a very interesting post, where question was that, "what actual practices you use?" I thought it would be very interesting to see what actual work forum is doing, but it turned into a usual meaningless back and forth.

This rings truer, idea of competence should only be entertained once, one has exhausted all his competence. And putting a real long-term focused effort into something is as rare as genetic freaks. There are freaks for sure, but we don't know if someone who believes himself to be ordinary is actually as ordinary as he concluded without putting in work. Try and see how far you can reach, if your intelligence is genetic and you accepted it only thing you can do is to put in work.
