  2. The problem IMHO is that taking this drug fixes nothing about the root cause. It allows people to get by without actually learning anything about nutrition, without even changing their relationship with food.

I understand the listener must be open-minded, but I’m curious about additional insights into communicating complex ideas persuasively — especially topics that require the listener to develop a sensitivity to nuance for the deeper insights to truly click.

Btw, just realized I bought it using an email on Paypal different from the email I had purchased other Actualized.org products (despite being logged into Actualized.org with the 'correct' email), and the product was assigned to the Paypal email I used. Completely dark room (or as close to that as possible) Cool room and mattress temperature Eating at most 3h away from sleep; preferably 4h+ Only use the bed to sleep and have sex Avoid screens (or use sunglasses / orange glasses); also configure screens to be dark and reduce blue light Etc.

  13. In my experience 8mg vaporized is already enough for a full trip. 5meo is a risky substance, especially compared to more traditional psychedelics. Make sure do your own research. Try to use a device that allows you to reliably ingest the full substance (always hard with vaporization, but devices such as Dr. Dabber allow for way better control than using a torch and a pipe. I made a post about it in the forum)
  14. Btw, people focus on heavy metals but there are way more fundamental things to be checked and addressed before moving to that, from my perspective. For example (speaking to everyone, not only the OP): have you done 24h urinary calcium, magnesium tests? How do you know your calcium and magnesium intakes are adequate? have you done calcium metabolism blood markers (PTH, vitamin D, serum Ca, serum Phosphate), checked b12 (40% marginal defficiency in the broad population), ferritin, etc.? Have you checked your thyroid status — do you need to supplement iodine (especially if not eating iodized salt)? Even small things like getting constant sleep and eating enough fiber. These are all things that can be optimized in much safer ways (e.g., taking a vit. d or calcium supplement if you happen to need it) than messing around with heavy metals. And for the OP in particular: b vitamin supplementation will likely be the highest lever given MTFHR variant, but ideally based on measured hcy values

If you haven't done it yet: You need to test hcy (homocysteine), and probably supplement 5-MTHF (methylfolate), probably optimize b12 too, to improve your methylation capacity (which will bring hcy down since methylation converts it back to methionine). This is more fundamental than heavy metal screening IMHO (I'm not a health practitioner, so take this with a grain of salt). I have the C677T variant, and I only found it when I tested my hcy (in the 27 range; ideal is <=10 depending on the source). I've managed to bring it down with supplementation.   16. Ideally you address the issue when it's at the level of annoyance, before it rises to the anger part of the spectrum. Sometimes it's not possible, and then anger is OK. But if it happens too often it's a hint the person may be lacking the self-awareness and emotional maturity required to spot it and act upon it already at lower levels of the spectrum.

  20. Interesting. Do you do liver enzymes in your bloodwork? I was supplementing with 200ug SeMet (Selenium L-Methionine, the organic form most found in whole food) and my whole-blood selenium levels really rose, and together with it ALT & AST, which could be a downstream effect from mild Selenium toxicity. I then stopped supplementing and stopped eating Brazil nuts for a while until the levels normalized. I'm now back to my Brazil nuts (as a good Brazilian that I am ) One caveat with Brazil nuts is they have very large variability. From my Obsidian notes:
