  1. I have a feeling the UAP phenomenon involves a complex mix from the multiple listed categories. That includes human, which would be very interesting and diabolical.
  2. I'm somewhat new here, so I don't know all the lore. @Leo Gura, have you ever gone into detail about your origin story into spirituality. I assume you were born ignorant like everyone else, and you probably didn't have parents who made you aware of what's possible. You may have even been an atheist for most of your life. Was there a specific turning point where your doubts were annihilated, and you realized there was far more to life and reality than you previously assumed?
  3. It's possible I should take another look at it. I just hated the feelings of being lightheaded and the discomfort from my previous attempts. Maybe that's a phase that can be broken through.
  4. In regards to the thread topic, I never really liked breathwork for this exact reason. It seems too dangerous with too many unwanted physical side effects. If the goal is purification, mental control, and more, I believe this can all be achieved without utilizing breathing techniques. It may be a bit trickier to access it all directly rather than utilizing the physiological changes inherent in breathwork, but it's a better and safer path forward imo.
  5. For those of us with experience, we realize that's literally all that need be said.
  6. No problem. At this point, I'm so used to the mass majority not being aware of the fact of spirituality that it's a given for me that they'll misunderstand a site like this, and I try to take it in stride. If anything, we should be grateful we're not trapped in the same hell of being ignorant of our ignorance.
  7. I can't tell if you're talking about Destiny or Leo. Either way, I don't know what gives you the impression that I think they're demigods of which I'm obsessed. I just thought it was interesting that the creator of this forum was mentioned in a more mainstream context.
  8. @you too Sounds awesome, thanks. Hopefully we can turn this thread into a useful resource for anyone who comes across it with the same goal. It may be tough though, because I haven't noticed anyone else who frequently posts here and also uses injection as an ROA, much less SC injection. It's interesting how rare the use of SC for psychedelics actually is. You can find info about IM for various drugs basically everywhere, but it's not common knowledge that SC is practically interchangeable.
  9. Oral xanax can begin its effects pretty quick. Maybe like 10-15 minutes for first signs. If you take 5meo via boofing or injection, or DMT via pharmahuasca, the experience can be stretched out long enough to where popping a benzo early in a bad trip can help. Like I said though, I'd probably never do it with 5meo. A "bad trip" with 5meo is just different from other psychedelics. I wasn't aware of the MAOI interaction with antipsychotics, thanks. From the research I've done, benzos are safe for aya and pharma.
  10. You're correct that there was hefty research a number of years ago before actually attempting the injection. But at this point, I couldn't direct you to any specific resources. It was many little bits here and there that amounted to a whole, and a clear understanding that subcutaneous injection of most (if not all) psychedelics would have effects comparable to intramuscular injection. So to give practical answers to your questions: 1) How does one determine the eligibility of a chemical for this ROA? If fat-solubility is key, how does one determine the fat-solubility of a chemical? Is this something that can be determined from chemical datasheets alone? If there's large numbers of reports and data surrounding a psychedelic's positive eligibility for IM injection, you can safely assume it'll absorb properly and comparably via SC injection. No need to bring in additional considerations such as fat solubility. 2) If a chemical is well tolerated via IM (intramuscular injection), is it assumed to also be so for SC? Yes Sorry for the lack of sources, but I figured I'd answer anyway. I realize this doesn't put you much further along than you were before asking. If you'd like to make yourself more comfortable before giving it a try, you'll probably have to scour the internet for specific explanations. Personally, I choose SC over other ROAs due to the sheer ease, precision, and effectiveness. It has all the obvious advantages of injection, and it has an edge over IM by being a bit less invasive. If you look through my post history regarding the subject, I'm sure I spelled it out pretty thoroughly. Please feel free to ask any other questions.
  11. It's easy to misunderstand what authentic spiritual transformation of the typical variety would be like. These two give a pretty good description.
  12. Please don't stop imagining me, I've got stuff I need to get done today.
  13. Very true, it's way more likely to flip from difficulty to bliss, and that should probably even be considered the expected path it'll take. I find the 5HT2A psychedelics to be different in that the terrifying aspects are more persistent and don't lead to positive enlightening breakthroughs once a bad trip has begun. It could just be me though.
  14. Also to clarify, I'm only talking about the 5HT2A-dominant psychedelics. I've never used a trip killer for a 5meo experience, and I don't think I ever would.
  15. 100%. I'm in strong disagreement with the notion that riding out a bad trip is preferable. I've heard it supported with sayings similar to "If you bought the ticket, you should take the ride." But if I was in a ride that was on fire, I'd get the hell out. It's hard to know what type of transcendent forces may be affecting you, and how that may manifest later on. I'll add that I really don't like benzos and anti-psychotics, but it's a calculated use in this case, and better than the alternative.
  16. @Water by the River Have you ever used psychedelics? Some of them (especially DMT) can really reveal aspects of the hyperdimensional soul. It's exactly as described in that book, where the experience is just too profound and expansive to fit back into the regular human experience, and much of it slips away upon return. But then what's also interesting is that all previous memories of the space are unlocked when it's reentered. It's as if you pick up where you previously left off.
  17. A bad trip can be a like a feedback loop that grows from its own momentum. Pretty difficult to stop once it's begun. Something significant needs to step in and break the cycle. As far as other chemicals, a benzo or anti-psychotic should tamp it down.
  18. Word on the street says Ralston just had his final awakening. Good for him.
  19. I've definitely heard about the likelihood of there not being a historical Buddha. The origin story matches many other mystical traditions' stories. I guess it serves some kind of narrative purpose for the masses. I don't know, I still find it funky to imagine that early Buddhists didn't intuitively come to the same conclusion as simpletons like us (modern people). Like you mentioned, perhaps it was due to the influence of those who wrote the books.
  20. Is there a good explanation for how early Buddhists could have missed the mark on bringing non-duality into their everyday lives? Genuinely asking because you seem knowledgeable about the history. It seems difficult to believe that dedicated practitioners of their caliber could miss something as glaring as that, when even modern practitioners with all our distractions and vices can stumble upon it. Just from getting into the jhanas, shouldn't their perception have become cleansed enough to notice enlightenment hiding behind the scenes? I wonder if many of the early practitioners were in fact fully and properly enlightened, but it wasn't reflected well in the scripture.
  21. In all likelihood, that'd work fine, but an important point I came across is that bacteriostatic water doesn't actually have the effect of sterilizing the solution. It only slow the growth of new bacteria.
  22. @Schizophonia You seem more educated in certain ways than myself, but I believe the micron filters are to filter out any potential bacteria or other contaminants, to make sure the contents of the vial are as sterile as possible. And the benzyl alcohol is meant to make the water in the vial bacteriostatic, to greatly slow the growth of new bacteria. To be honest though, I usually skip the benzyl alcohol and just use sterile water. I don't like the idea of injecting anything except the psychedelic and water, and the airtight conditions of a vial alone should prevent significant bacteria growth. There's more than a few advantages to using sterile vials for injected psychedelics. Depending on the ratio used in the vial, you can perform precise volumetric dosing down to fractions of a milligram if you really wanted to. The success rate of an injection is extremely reliable and predictable, with effects starting within 5 minutes. When using a 31g needle, you can barely feel it entering the skin. There's essentially no discomfort involved with the ROA whatsoever. I think it's the best method I'm aware of to take a chemical and deliver it into your body.
