  1. Sure, but those are the radical representatives of the poles. I'm sure there's relatively a ton more kids who are just ordinary people.
  2. Could be the rebelliousness of youth. Back 10-20+ years ago, kids were rebelling in the opposite direction against the stodgy right. But if the left is seen as the new arbiter of culture, then young people may feel a natural pull to reject "the man."
  3. It seems like this whole political situation has been splitting down masculine/feminine lines, even more than usual. As if the two poles are actively separating. Is fascism an inherently masculine tendency? Is there an equivalent of the opposite type?
  4. It's probably fair to say that it looks fishy when lax policy allows millions into a country, many are moved to states which are usually in contention in terms of the electoral college, and then a proposal is made to allow them all citizenship, which includes the right to vote. I'm not at all saying that this was the intention of the left, and I don't even want to argue that. As you say, they may end up voting conservative. But the right would feel less gaslit if someone could at least admit how it could be perceived in such a way.
  5. I could definitely see that, because Destiny is extremely persuasive and on-target in terms of what appears to be going on. I recommend tuning in and seeing what Pisco thinks today, though. I'm guessing you would have anyway.
  6. Well maybe, but truth can be a more subjective thing than we like to think. Even those who are highly intelligent can have blind spots which make it difficult to observe a situation with objectivity. By the way, who do you side with more in terms of post-election attitude, Pisco or Destiny/Jessiah? I think Pisco has a much healthier outlook, and it sounds like he plans to take whatever lessons can be learned and move forward within the reality in which he's presented. Alternatively, Destiny and Jessiah were toying with loopholes, and Dan even suggested Biden utilize his immunity to murder Trump. I'm sure they were half-joking, but they were also half-serious. I think Pisco will be on Anything Else today. He'll probably have the type of message that'll help preserve sanity when the left is feeling the very human urge to stoop to the level of their opponents.
  7. As someone in tech, I believe it is true (referring to the Rogan podcast), but it could very well be a consequence of YT capturing certain search terms and defaulting them to official news sources. Meaning that a search that includes the word "Trump" will be heavily weighted towards well-known and trusted channels. This is something that's been in place for years, and it applies to many other controversial search terms as well. So I do have my doubts this particular podcast was specifically targeted. Though an argument could be made that YT should have added it to their "trending" list, considering the massive views in a short amount of time.
  8. @Scholar Very interesting perspectives, thanks for taking the time. Even though the explanation conforms with the culture I live in, and it's an answer I probably intuitively already knew, it's helpful seeing it spelled out so clearly. You've lived up to your namesake, lol.
  9. I take your point as to the appropriateness of its acceptance in the world we currently live in. I guess I just put myself in the place of someone who was born in that type of situation, and I felt resentful on their behalf. It's easy to claim innocence, but willfully allowing a life of suffering seems unfortunate to me. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be an authoritarian monster who controls who's allowed to breed, so I guess acceptance is the only reasonable option. Do you imagine it'll always be this way, or do you think humanity might strive towards a higher standard of genetics once technology allows? Certain whispers out of China makes me think the latter.
  10. This may be a suboptimal way of looking at it, but wouldn't it be true that an incestuous relationship that leads to a child would statistically have a marked increase of health issues for said child? Couldn't that be looked at as a form of abuse towards the child and possibly a reason to express a strong dislike of incest? I'm just standing in with an argument. Don't get me wrong, I've visited Pornhub too.
  11. I'm sure I'm less educated. It's something I should look more into, for the sake of productive conversation if nothing else. I feel like what I'm noticing is more of a shadow of stage green or something rather than characteristics that they all actively present by default. Like you mentioned, it's an immaturity. A snarky attitude mixed with an exuding of unearned arrogance. It just seems so counterproductive, and a sort of chain around their neck that prevents them from better expressing their level of development. But who knows, though, I could be way off in trying to interpret SD. Thanks for the info.
  12. Your reasoning for caution seems warranted, especially considering the timing. I'd be more shocked if foreign nations didn't take advantage of the US election chaos.
  13. Interesting how there's always methods of gaming the system.
  14. I've heard there's further proof that just recently came out of France, but who knows what's true in this moment of fever-pitch intensity. Edit: Oops, sorry, I see you were already discussing the recent leak. I skipped reading the earlier posts.
  15. For those who are more familiar with spiral dynamics, is it normal to feel a certain revulsion to stage green, despite its virtues? I remember Ken Wilber referring to something like "mean green," but I never really understood the context.
  16. I don't know if this person is in fact a man. It just made me think of this scene.
  17. I can't speak on the scientific merits of including fluoride in the water, but it's probably not the strangest thing in the world to wish for a purer expression of H2O along with its common minerals. Did Obama say something about RFK? Curious what it was.
  18. It's a tricky thing to tease apart, because I don't think Trump himself would play any role of leadership in this more enlightened world. For me, in this niche goal of mine, it could have been anyone who's willing and able to defy the established order. And the results that I'm hoping for are inherent in the act of defiance itself, not dependent on who performs it. It's a little embarrassing to discuss, because "conspiracy theory" has turned into a such a dirty phrase, but I believe strongly that secret societies have passed on in-depth knowledge of the perennial philosophy all throughout history. Secret societies which are currently at very high levels of control, interwoven within organizational human power structures. For many of them, their existence is recorded historical fact. It's only the question of their significance that's in contention. For those like us who are more discerning, when we see the writings of these secret societies symbolically discussing techniques of going inward and achieving a union with God, it can be taken much more literally. The gist of what I'm trying to say is that it's not just us on the forum who are aware of the human spiritual potential. It's a big world out there, and there's stuff going on that would be difficult to believe from an ordinary vantage point. The UFO phenomenon falls into this discussion as well, with all its complexities (which I don't claim to fully understand). I hate that it's a conspiratorial line of thinking, but I'm absolutely convinced there's those on Earth who covet this knowledge (along with its benefits) and refuse to share it. The idea is to knock that knowledge loose, pretty much by any means necessary at this point. For any mods who are looking, I can back off on the conspiracy talk. I could go so much deeper, but I know it's not appreciated here. These may be the conclusions I've come to after many years of research and direct experience, but I don't have to spread it around to participate in conversations. I hadn't considered it this way before. The paradoxical scenario of someone whose nature is so opposite from the desired result is kind of ironic and humorous in itself. It's not my hope that Trump personally ushers in a world where people become aware of what's spiritually possible, because I'm not sure he could ever even grasp it himself. I am hoping that the disruption of power opens a window for such an event to happen, by whatever form that may take. There is a good point being made here. Even if the populace is currently living in a curious shadow of ignorance as to their true nature, I may not have considered the extent to which it's possible for things to get worse. "Some change" is not necessarily equal to "good change." The eagerness for salvation can itself lead to ruin. Something to keep in mind, I guess.
  19. Awesome, I had a feeling that was mostly the case. If I am pointed wayward, I hope I quickly become righted as well.
  20. Well, even if you hate me, I still appreciate you, good sir. Along with Joshe and a few others I've come across. There's a certain openness and reasonableness that you guys display, despite us often being on opposite ends of various opinions.
  21. Anyone know how the warning system works? Am I putting myself at risk of getting booted with my recent outburst?
  22. I'll try to give some brief responses. It may be a bit strange though, because I'm going to answer as if spirituality, along with the UFO phenomenon, is objectively real. I'm well aware it's far from a given that everyone shares this opinion, and I'm sure most people wouldn't make major decisions based on it. I've sacrificed a lot and devoted over 20 years to genuine spiritual pursuits, so I feel my viewpoint may be quite atypical. My reasoning will probably seem batshit crazy to the uninitiated. You're pretty spot on. Trump appears very far from my idealized model of a human being. It's a gamble that the destabilizing effects of Trump et al. will knock loose certain things from the establishment, vis-à-vis esoteric knowledge for the public. If I were to instead look at all this through an ordinary lens, I can't imagine myself leaning in Trump's direction. So it's not like I can't understand why you're repelled at the thought of it. I do agree in theory, but in this case, it's a hope for a far greater peace which has the potential to arise from the chaos. One where a lone weirdo like me isn't one of the few who's aware of what's actually possible within the human purview. What a world it could be. As I think through this one, I do feel a shiver as I'm reminded that the weapon being utilized for change is the strongly unevolved man who is Donald Trump. It's scary to imagine what can go wrong. But if the status quo is a perpetual world of literal unconsciousness, then some potentials are worth a hefty risk. Probably not inaccurate in terms of the loss of decorum. It's disturbing how quickly things can deteriorate. Same answers as above, basically. You're correct that he's nothing like I'd ever personally want to be, but I'm hoping he's an avatar for change against a powerful system that's holding the keys to the kingdom. As I was typing all this out, I found myself regretting that I'd revealed my reasons in those previous posts. Even on a spiritual forum, I don't think there's many who hold it as a reality, consider it deeply, and then live within those implications. Much less practice it and achieve results. You and I have never discussed it, so I don't even know if you yourself care for such things. If this all seems very strange, then I apologize for subjecting you to my bizarre ramblings, lol. Since I live a normal life in the professional world, I'm also capable of acting as if spirituality isn't real, and it may be wise for me to switch back to that style for the sake of more productive conversations.
  23. @Joshe sincerely sorry to let you down. I'm sure my reasoning is especially obnoxious, lol.
  24. You're right about Musk and Trump, but RFK did state in no uncertain terms that he'd declassify everything related to UFOs. Who knows how legit the statement was.
