@Natasha Tori Maru Yes I understand, I have grown up in very tough circumstances, I have seen death, losing loved ones, been through the foster care system, seeing my father bounce back for his kids, I predicted my father's death to his face, and shared my last moments with him in love and giving him his flowers days before his passing, I told him he is going to die, he did 3 days later. I have been through the foster care system, I have had life changing psychedelic breakthroughs, I have suffered emergency hospital injuries and I am on the path of integration and development. I am guided by my inner strengths of forgiveness, wisdom, judgment and recognition of Beauty in the world. The depth of human suffering that I've experienced showed me the higher aspects of life paradoxically. Giving me a deeper compassion of other people's suffering greater than mine. The social matrix does bogg people down, and my wish is for everyone to experience reality with the qualities of Being cognition and perception. I look at the world and other people around me struggling and suffering and I extend my love to them because they are all me, and I love myself, even the parts that don't, I love even the parts of me that don't love itself and can't accept the love. Your suffering is my suffering and I have compassion for the suffering of all life. Are you familiar with being a bodhisattva?

@Natasha Tori Maru Human life is a slice of time. Within personal experience there is a long grueling battle to survive, but from a higher perspective, it is a snap of a finger. And in the ultimate biggest picture, zooming out of your personal story, out beyond the surface of the planet and beyond galaxies, there is no time. Nothing matters, not because it's meaningless, but because it's empty, and emptiness doesn't care. There is no meaning, but the meaning we give it, determines our experience of it. Just because there is no meaning to suffering or pain, doesn't mean it ain't beautiful. God doesn't just want to be positive, it wants to experience the negative, stickiest weirdest, twisted shit possible, because everything is possible and it has no limits. It sounds fucked up to the ego, but this is how it is.

@Leo Gura drop some of your thoughts on all this, I'm curious to see what you make of this.

@Natasha Tori Maru reality wants to explore darkness, like a rubber band effect. You pull yourself ever deeper into the dark, and when you let go, you fling that much faster into the light. Suffering and the darker aspects of consciousness are part of the whole. But the whole experiences all the parts to understand itself and in so doing loving itself in all the ways that it can.

When you let go of trying to control, hold onto reality, it slips through your fingers and escapes your grasp. Like fighting water, just swim with it. There is nothing to hold onto, nothing to let go of. It's achieved for you on that sense. Death is the end of trying to grab, it is the release, Nirvana, to blow out instead of just sucking in. But when you let go, it comes back without your having to control, and that is salvation.

@Princess Arabia that is because impermanence is the flowing river of reality. There is suffering in joy, that's what makes it human. That's what makes you appreciate an ice cream, because it will melt. That's what makes human sexuality and love so beautiful because it will pass But you can glimpse a transcendental love in the midst of pain and pleasure.

@Peo yes as long as your identity is contingent on the physical body and mind. Try looking at it from an existential point of view independent of the human species.

There is joy in the negative. Especially in the good, but we must learn to embrace the suffering as an inseperable aspect of life. There is beauty to suffering, pain and loss. Look at the beauty of a black panther feasting on its prey, a snake choking and eating a living being. Being shot, having your neck sliced, being in the hospital. Losing a loved one, these are all aspects of life that must exist because they do.

@Princess Arabia I have been doing deep pranayama, belly breathing and intense emotional release exercises, the effects were an increase in energy, this primal animal bloodlust is being released for my fighting. I have been doing some really heavy practices. This energy is running through my veins, but I need to balance this pranic force with wisdom and love. I can't control it.

I didn't intend to slander your personality or character. I'm sure it'd be fun to sip tea together while moon gazing, maybe jumping down each other's throats. If you felt that way, I apologize. I love you.

Developing Good Politics By Leo Gura - November 19, 2024 Here’s what you need to understand about politics. Politics is its own developmental line. Having good, high-quality, wise, mature politics is nothing natural or automatic. Very few people have it because it requires specialized research, study, and contemplation to get. Do not assume that just because someone is spiritually advanced, or has a high IQ, or is good at business or science, or is popular or successful, that they should have good politics. No, no, no. Spirituality and Awakening will not give you good politics. Going to an Ivy League university will not give you good politics. Reading a bunch of books will not give you good politics. The only thing that will give you good politics is if you do serious work in specifically developing good politics. Of course good politics requires a good epistemic foundation, but even a good epistemic foundation on its own is not enough to assure good politics. Good politics requires lots of experience and exposure to political events plus historical grounding, reading, and independent contemplation. It takes at least a decade of following politics to get good at understanding its tricks. Which explains why good politics is so, so rare. Most people are not interested enough in this domain to develop this far, and those who are interested mostly fall into the trap of one ideology or another. To spend a decade studying politics and avoid every ideology, every side, is rare indeed. The reason I was able to do achieve it was because all of my work is fundamentally grounded in pure understanding of reality. My political understanding is just an extension of that, grounded in my understanding of existence at a metaphysical, spiritual, psychological, and philosophical level. You see, unlike most people in politics, I am not a political actor. Nor am I a journalist or pundit. My aim within politics was always this: pure understanding. My aim was philosophical, not activist or journalistic. This allowed me to keep my mind from getting corrupted with bias and various human agendas. Because I never took my eye off this ball for 25+ years, my reward is that now I have good politics. That doesn’t mean I believe in the right set of positions. It means I understand politics on an existential level, as a domain of mind. While everyone else was busy arguing over this or that ideology, or reporting on news, I was busy understanding reality at an existential level. That’s what you must do to cut through all the human noise. What I see instead is everyone lost and distract by the human noise. As a result, they never gain an existential understanding of politics and are forever lost and confused, arguing over breadcrumbs like rats. Beware: if you become a political actor you will take your eye off the ball of pure understanding and you will thereby never really understand politics, you will be a pawn within the game. Your mind will get so corrupted by human agenda, by survival, that you will not have the purity and objectivity necessary to understand what’s really going on. You have a basic loyalty test before you now: will you be loyal to pure understanding and truth, or will you be loyal to human activity and survival goodies? You can have one or the other. Choose carefully. Getting extraordinary results requires having extraordinary intent. What is your intent? The quality of your intent makes all the difference. Is your intent social justice? Is your intent having your side win? Is your intent proving others wrong? Is your intent personal fame and profit? Is your intent power? Is your intent fear and worry? Or is your intent something beyond all that? Why do you think about politics at all?

The only malicious intent I have is ending someone in a boxing ring.

@Princess Arabia I’m not trying to control you, I’m just calling out the reality of this conversation. You keep accusing me of silencing you, but all I’m doing is challenging your ideas, not your right to speak. If you feel threatened by someone questioning your beliefs, maybe it’s not about me controlling you, maybe it’s about you not being used to being challenged. The fact that you're reacting so strongly shows more about your need to defend something fragile, not my need to control.

If truth feels like violence, maybe it's your illusion that’s bleeding. I’m not attacking, I’m just allergic to circular logic and spiritual fluff. You’re giving me hives. @Princess Arabia Who’s saying that? If there’s truly nothing going on, why the need to explain it? Even the claim nothing is happening' is happening. Trying to out think the dream is still dreaming. You’re describing illusions with more illusions, polishing fog.
