There is nothing illegal for the citizens of a country to revolt against their government when in the electoral campaign they promise closer ties and integration with the EU economy, only to do a U turn and start sucking Russian cock while betraying the expectations of the people that elected them. It is called accountability. Such things are only "illegal" in Putin's Russia. Only there you must be forever the slave of the oligarchs that back Putin and any revolt is crushed immediately. People of Ukraine wanted their country to look like Germany not like Belarus. And this is nothing "Illegal". Illegal is to trap generations of humans in North Korea style dictatorships. -

The west meant democracies and democratic institutions and human rights. Calling Nazi Germany a Western country is wrong. Nazi Germany was more alligned ideologically with the Roman Empire than the West. Soviet Union had nothing to do with the west. If it was even remotely resembling the west, there wouldn't have been necessary to fight a cold war with the west for half a century. Unfortunately Romania was the second military force only behind the Nazi Wermacht, on the Eastern Front. Romanian soldiers together with German soldiers have done horrible things in that war. Romania has been part of the west only since 2007. 18 years of being a part of the west. My main issue I have with your argument is that you falsely put Nazi Germany into the west. This is pure Russian propaganda. Only they want to portray the EU and NATO as some successor to Nazi Germany. Which is very false. The west in Europe in the 1930's and 1940's consisted of France, Britain, Belgium, Portugal, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweeden, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands. -

I'm telling you what people here think and believe. I'm just ringing an alarm bell. And as far as I knew Jews were mostly spread out in Europe before WW2. Not in Peru. -
Daniel Balan replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Well they are not wrong here. In Europe there is an alarming number of people that are anti semites. I began discussing politics with people more often since last year and I was shocked to realize how many blame the jews for everything. Those backward peasants that I talked to believe that the jews run the world and all the banks in the world. If I were a dictator in Europe I'd make a law that states: Engaging in Conspiracy theories will make you go to jail for 20 years with no chance for parole. -

Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's why they spent billions to sway elections in literally every western country. That's why every social media site is filled with AI generated propaganda videos that bad mouth the west all day long. That's why twitter is flooded with Right Wing pro authoritarain content. That's why TikTok is full of "influencers" that come elections in Western countries, they flood the zone with shit and defamation videos on pro democratic parties or candidates and praise and call "patriots" the wanna be dictators or far right nationalist parties. That's why on every comment section on these platforms therey are thousands of bots commenting about how the pro democracy parties are full of thieves and how only the pro dictatorship (oligharch backed) patriots are pure and are worthy to lead the country. Bro please, go sell the shit you are selling to someone else. I'm not buying it. -

Me? Deluded? Did you even analyze what you wrote? Have you heard of the principle think twice before you speak once? Have you studied even the most basic of history? Here I got you for having your mind infested by anti-western propaganda! How the fuck can you say that that Nazi Germany was part of the West in 1940? Brah, The Nazis were on the same side with the Soviets in 1940. The West was staunchly opposing both Nazism and Communism. Nazi Germany had nothing to do with the West, they were sworn enemies of the West. And regarding your BS takes on the West, since my country has joined the western club of countries we have lots of stores where we can buy lots of food, lots of tools and basically anything we need. We can open businesses without bribing 10 politicians and 20 mafia thugs, we can go to the hospital without selling a cow to pay bribes to the doctors, we have roads, we were able to work abroad and bring money home to build houses, human rights are respected, we have a minimum wage that didn't exist before and much more benefits and freedoms that we didn't had before. And this is all in less than 20 years of EU membership. Homelessness? Bro in China and Russia if an oligarch wants your house, even though you have fully paid for it or you legally own it, those mafia thughs beat you with iron roads and break your knee caps until you sell it to them so that they can build a new car repair shop. Then talk about homelessness. -

Perfectly said. I personally think that both Russia and China are awesome countries with rich cultures nice people. There are a lot of cool and good aspects of Russian culture or Chinese culture that could be "better" than how the West does things. We are against the governance that those countries want to export to the west. The same way those countries are against the model of governance the west tries to export to them But my opinion is that the way western societies are ruled and governed is much better than how Russia or China is governed. I don't talk here about economics, sure China has a great economy, we could learn stuff from the Chinese about economics, but for the individual citizens life in Western democracies is literally heaven on earth. -

What a strange loop! Who would have thought that the people being exterminated in Europe by the nazis in the 1940's would create their own nation state and 80 years later become nazi themselves and do to the Palestinians the same thing that the Nazis had done to them. God is a comedian. -

Bro, people go for shopping there and they disappear forever. Literally North Korea is child's play compared to the shit that goes down right now in the territories that Russia annexed from Ukraine. May the universe be gentle & mercyful to those poor souls being in that hell right now. -

Man I hate westerners like you so much. Like who do you think you are for wanting us the plebs, that live in the most corrupt countries in Europe to always be under the heavy boots of the most corrupt oligarchs that always had Russian backing? Like for real, do you think that only you deserve a country where you can open a business without having to pay protection fees so that your family doesn't get hit "accidentally" by a car? Are you for real? Do you think that only with "Soros & CIA coup d'etat" the people of Ukraine would want their country to be like Germany or Poland and not like Belarus? We deserve to have all the benefits of western democracies too. We are not third tier citizens like you guys take us for. -

Bro, the whole of Ukraine speaks Russian. Literally Ukraine is little Russia! A little Russia that has choosen to be part of the west. Basically you could call Ukraine Western Russia. To really understand what Ukraine is in regards to Russia, it is to compare Germany and Austria. Basically Russia is like Germany and Ukraine is like Austria. And it is not acceptable for Germany to meddle in the governmental affairs of Austria, it is not ok for Germany to decide which economic or defensive alliances Austria should pursue. It is not OK for Germany to annex Austria. Last time this happened we had the entire European continent leveled to the ground. -

I'm still waiting for the day Leo will reveal to us that he is actually an alien from a far away galaxy that has came here to cure us of our backwardness. I have this thought ever since Leo became all of a sudden interested in UFO's & alien consciousness. -
I think I will buy it. This is stuff that deeply interests me. I want to develop a mind that would be bulletproof to any kind of propaganda. Recently I became more atuned with the Russian & right wing nationalist propaganda and I have to admit, that stuff is vicious. Had I not been an old follower of your work, I'd have fallen immediately for it. If you are exposed long enough to it, your mind will be forever intoxicated and poisoned with everything the Kremlin wants you to think. I bet that right now that the Kremlin invests far more resources in developing & unleashing its propaganda machine onto the West than he is investing in weapons against the west. The Kremlin's goal is to conquer the minds of the western people. I was deeply saddened when I found out that your book list doesn't have any book adressing these issues. The West has propaganda too, but compared to the Russian apparatus of propaganda, the west's propaganda is child's play. You cannot withstand the level of brainwashing that the Right Wing Russian propaganda does to you if you are a mere normie. If you don't develop your mind and you don't get serious about studying this stuff your mind literally becomes Putin's sex toy.

what do you guys think of this book? I plan to buy it. Has anyone read this? What do you think of this?

@Leo Gura Why isn't this book on your book list?

What do you think guys? -
Was the 2014 Maidan Revolution in Ukraine a CIA coup d'etat? I have no idea and I'd like to know what do you guys think. My personal opinion it is that it wasn't a coup but rather a genuine popular revolt. Because Ukraine has always been culturally in touch with the west and because the Ukrainians saw how prosperous western countries like Germany, Uk or France are, they choose to follow a path of European integration. But I'm also convinced that the CIA and the EU deeply sponsored pro Western propaganda in Ukraine. But it wasn't a coup d'etat in the sense that the west installed it's puppet regime there. For me it was like 70% popular revolt and 30% western backing and propaganda that swayed the Ukrainian population away from Moscows grip.

Are you for real?? Article 5 has only invoked once in NATO's history and that was after 9/11. Did Sarkozi push Gadaffi to mass slaughter & torture his own people? This is hilarious. Gadaffi got what he deserved for torturing and killing his own citizens. The war on Iraq was worse because the US invented bullshit motives to control the oil reserves of Iraq. Because up to 500k people were killed because of the US. In Lybia the West hasn't done anything remotely as horrible as they did in Iraq. In Lybia the killing that insued was because of the savage nature of Lybia's political landscape, it was organic, they killed eachother, but in Iraq the 500k lives lost were all because of the US troops did that killing. -
Daniel Balan replied to Karmadhi's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Lyubov Regarding Lybia and Serbia interventions I'm totally behind the west here. It would have been preposterous to let the Serbs massacre the Kosovo and Bosnia muslims. The Nato bombing of Serbia is the most humane and right thing the west has done since WW2. Also Gadaffi, his regime killed and tortured his own people. Big thumbs up for the west for getting rid of his regime. That is something I call proper policing of the world. Unfortunately those 2 instances were the only times the west behaved with moral superiority. -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Also it is plausible since the CIA has done over a dozen of coup d'etats since the end of WW2. So it is not entirely out of the question. But since the maidan revolution lasted like 3 or 4 months of continuous protests and street violence, since the sitting president left the country on his own volition, I doubt that the Maidan Revolution was actually a coup. -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
I just wanted to understand how this conflict is from the Russian POV. And what better way to understand it than delving deep into the very conspiracy that started the war. Russia started the war in 2014 precisely because they 100% believe that the Maidan Revolution was a coup d'etat. Putin told that dozens of times in his interview with Tucker Carlson. Putin genuinely believes that the current leadership at Kiev is the consequence of the 2014 coup d'etat. -

@Apparition of Jack obviously no one is gonna sanction the west, but why isn't the west sanctioning itself? The west should give a lot of humanitarian aid to iraq for all the mayhem caused there. The west should help the Iraqi people to build roads and bridges for free as a way to say we were wrong and we want to repair our mistake. -

Capitalism ain't no scale. Capitalism is the way humans have done business since we walked on all four limbs. But there is capitalism without rules and capitalism with rules and regulations. -
Daniel Balan replied to Karmadhi's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Apparition of Jack we expect Russia to behave barbarically, since they have done so all their history, but the US? We expected much more from the US, what they have done in the middle east, especially in Iraq is preposterous and asinine. The Iraq war is the biggest and most heinous stain on the West's reputation.
