The culture is very toxic. In a way, boxing or MMA is more respectful and more honourable than chess. Chess is full of ego, delusions of grandeur and hatred.
-
No, thanks. I've quit chess 2 months ago when my favorite streamer Daniel Naroditsky, an Russian born American grand master killed himself because of chess and because he was bullied non stop by a piece of shit former world champion, Vladimir Kramnik. This game is shit in every iteration, It is vile and full of ego and devilry.

Chess is extreme conformity. If Magnus Carslen stats playing the Sicilian Najdorf, the whole chess community plays it, when Bobby Fischer started playing the King's Indian Defence with black, all of a sudden the whole globe started doing that. I've noticed that the only reason I played all my life 1. E4 instead of 1.d4 was because of Fischer because he said that 1.E4 is best by test. That's the reason I quit chess for good.

Guys what do you think, what are the chances that Donald Trump and Putin will divide Europe upon spheres of influence the same way Hitler and Stalin devided the continent upon spheres of influence in 1939? I believe that this could happen given how hard MAGA works in concordance with Russia to destroy the EU. I believe that there is a good chance that the Russians and the Americans will want to split Europe in two the same way Hitler and Stalin spilt the second Polish republic in two. This time America's sphere of influence will be the same as it was during the cold war and Russia will want to have the former Warsaw pact countries under its sphere of influence. I believe that this is the end game that Putin and Trump are preparing for Europe. What do you think of my hypothesis?

@Sandroew no need to back off. I really appreciated your input. The thing is, I've been called all my life stupid and my patience is at an end. Sometimes when you see me calling gaslighting, it is just my ego's projection mechanisms kicking in, because no one ever took my perspective seriously, I've always been mocked and frankly I truly believe that sometimes my perspective is accurate and truthful. Especially after months of contemplation and independent thinking. I'm not parroting anyone here. I connect dots from everywhere and when I complete the puzzle in my mind, I share with others, and it drives me insane to be told that I am wrong or to be dismissed as a wishful thinker. I am stupid many times, but sometimes I am really confident that my perspective is accurate. -

Have you noticed? The most corrupt people, the biggest thiefs from your country are pro Russian and anti-EU and as of late pro-Trump. Why? Because under a Russian sphere of influence they will have license and free hand from Russia to steal and and enhance their survival on the backs of the plebs on ways like never before. Russian influence means license dirrecly from the government that stealing like hell is allowed and is also the new status quo. Thats why the most corrupt people are pro Russian and staunchly anti-EU. The EU allows a lot of theft too, but it is child's play compared to the kind of theft that Russia allows. -

Russia wants Eastern Europe as an ideological buffer rather than a military defence buffer. The west will never invade Russia. Nor did the west will ever even think about a potential invasion of Russia. This is total nonsense. Even by historical WW2 accounts the Russian paranoya holds no water. Without the West in WW2 Russia would have been defeated in WW2 by the fascists. The west offered tremendous support for Russia and even started a second front in order to speed up the defeat of the fascists. So Russia being afraid of NATO is nonsense and holds no water whatsoever. The real danger that is threatening Russia is ideological. The west with its close proximity to Russia is a huge threat because once the "woke liberal mind virus" starts infecting the Russian public, all the corrupt ways of todays Russia will be eradicated. A lot of powerful people will lose all the privileges that they have now, and that is precisely why that corrupt elite in order to mentain their corruption, they must create a physical barrier with conservative pro Russian, anti -EU countries so that the danger of the "liberal virus" crossing into Russia from the West due to the very close proximity, will be reduced to zero. Thats why Russians have no access to western media. This is what this war is all about. Creating an ideological buffer zone so that Russia can conserve its corrupt status quo as long as possible and without any foreign liberal interference from the west. Thats my conclusion. I don't give a fuck if you guys will contradict me. I will never allow any fucker to ever gaslight me about my perception of reality, EVER AGAIN. -

@Sandroew You are probably living in a big urban centre, but rural Hungary wants Russia, I've been across Europe and I know what the peasants want, only educated people from big cities want the west, the rural people which are close to 50% of any country in Eastern Europe, want back with Russia. You can't deny that. -

If Russia wasn't broke in the 90's, all of the former Warsaw pact countries except East Germany and maybe Czechia, all those countries would have alligned themselves with Russia because Eastern Europe is corrupt to the bone as is Russia. The only reason those countries moved towards the EU was for the money. Had Russia not been broke, all of eastern Europe would have migrated back to Russia, because Russia is the license for unchecked corruption while the EU is the kryptonite of corruption. And all of eastern Europe loves corruption. For Russia and Eastern Europe corruption is not a bug, but a highly desired and loved feature. Corruption is litteraly God for these countries. And if corruption is God, then Russia is the priest. -

I'm staunchly pro European and pro liberal democracy and anti-dictatorship, Don't mistake me for @zazen. I just connected the dots in my head and what I wrote in this thread is the end result of me connecting some dots. It is not about returning of communism or the USSR, this is laughable. But in Putin's mind, because the USSR lost 20 million of lives during their war with the nazis, they feel entitled to have half of Europe as a consolation gift for the 20 million of lives lost. Putin stresses this all the time. Russia wants eastern Europe as a buffer that will be between itself and the western led world which would be led by the US. Russia doesn't want to militarily occupy Europe, Russia wants a Victor Orban in each eastern European country. Russia wants the EU out of Eastern Europe. And Trump will happily fulfill Russia this wish because the US no longer has the resources to carry on its back a region that in Putin's mind, is already culturally, ideologically, religiously, corruption level -wise aligned with Russia. That's my own conclusion. Say what you want about it. -

This narative about Putin fearing a possible change of regime is laughable. Almost 80% of Russian citizens are backing Putin. Even if it were to be that Putin is ousted, what would replace Putin would be something more radical, more bloodthirsty. Not something more liberal. There is no threat for the Putin regime to collapse, all the oligarchs in Russia profit massively from Putin, Putin is a guarantee that corruption will stay the same, this is something that everyone on Russia wants, they want more corruption, not less. -

It is not about conquering land via war and military prowess, it is about spheres of influence. It only depends on Russia and US to draw a line in the middle of Europe and east of that line will be influenced by Russia and west of that line will be under the influence of the US. This can be done almost effortlessly once both Russia and The US destroy the EU unity. -

Divide and conquer. Tell me, why is MAGA calling for the collapse and the dismemberment of the EU? Once the EU is no more, each individual small country can be toyed around like a bitch by the great powers. You can't toy with the EU, but you can toy with the countries that make up the EU, once you divide and destroy the EU, the continent is ripe for the taking, for both Russia and the US. -

The reason Trump wants to give half of Europe to Putin it is because this is the only thing that will secure a forever peace on the European continent, nothing short of complete restauration of the old Soviet sphere of influence will satisfy Russia and Putin, without Trump giving on a silver platter half of Europe to Russia's sphere of influence, Russia will always threaten Europe with war. Once Russia has her lost sphere of influence back, it will stop any aggression towards the remainder of Europe. Russia will sell its oil to western Europe that will be under thr US influence and things will be peachy for both the US and Russia. Russia always tells that the former USSR sphere of influence was won with 20 million of Russian lives that were lost, and because of those dozens of millions of casualty, they feel entitled to that sphere of influence. And America has nothing to gain form Eastern Europe really, America has to gain from the riches of Western Europe, not from the backward second world countries of Eastern Europe, which are culturally and developmentally almost identical to Russia. Eastern European countries have huge problems with corruption. For Trump it is a win to get rid of some dead weight in Eastern Europe while gaining a lot of friendship and business and other goodies from the partnership with Russia. Plus, Russia will no longer attack anyone once it gets its sphere of influence back. Thats the only guarantee for peace. Thats why before the Ukraine war begun, Russia wanted NATO to roll back all teritory acquired after 1997. After 1997 all the countries from the former Warsaw pact joined NATO. Those demands were no coincidence. That is the real endgame for Russia. @Leo Gura what do you think? -

Thanks bro! Liked reading your post! But what do you think, is it possible that the US and Russia have already split Europe in half, and as years pass, Russia will take its sphere of influence back, dismembering the EU? The same way Germany and Russia split Europe and Poland in half in the secret protocols of the Molotov Ribbentrop pact? -

That was the way things worked in Romania too til like 2019. We still have to bribe but only for real big actions like government contracts etc, but in hospitals no one takes money anymore, when you open a shop or a small business you no longer have to pay for bribes. It took 13 years of European Union to solve these corruption issues. -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Entrepreneur @Basman I really think that Putin and Trump have already had their Molotov-Ribbentrop pact with secret protocols that puts western Europe under the sphere of influence of the US and Eastern and central Europe under the Russian sphere of influence. Russians aren't in the war for territory, they are after their lost sphere of influence. Those 3 years left on Trump's presidency will allow Putin the window to recapture its sphere of influence the same way Hitler allowed Stalin to capture its sphere of influence in 1939 and 1940. You can't change my mind one bit. This is not a conspiracy, this is the real deal, this is not a drill. -

I think I finally understood what the war in Ukriane is about! It is about what Russia would have liked to do in 1989 but couldn't and wasn't capable of. To militarily intervene into the countries that broke free from its sphere of influence. This war is basically what they would have done if they had the economic power to do at the end of the cold war. To invade and to maintain via military intervention its sphere of influence. In 1956 and 1968 they had the power to squash rebellion and disobedience, in 1989 and 1991 they lost that power, and the war in Ukraine is simply undoing with the newly gained prowess what was lost in 1991 and 1989 during times of weakness. -

The bar in the middle means total rupture. There are 2 radical worldviews on each side of the spectrum. One is the liberal worldview with all of its subcategories, the small bar in the middle of each worldview means centrism, and status quo differrs from one society to the other, during the 1930's the status quo was nazism and communism for the ussr.
