Ok! Thank you so much for your answer! Indeed I realized I have forgot to watch that video 6 years ago when it released and I never watched it! Thanks! 👍

I want to convince him out of his belief that Hitler was a leftist because in a way I want to demonstrate to myself that all the inner work that I've done can materialize itself by being able to correct somebody out of his self deception. To me it is a matter of life and death the Nazism subject! And people like TIK threaten my survival by being so wrong that he believes Bernie Sanders is the reincarnation of Hitler! Look, the reason it threatens my survival is because people won't know how to avoid electing the next Hitler because of people like TiK! Putin's fascist army is at 500 km away of my house, all my friends hate and demonize Ukraine and want it to lose and surrender to Putin, all the alternative media is filled with propaganda that demonizes the EU and Ucraine, and when comes election time and Putin wants to put a puppet far right president and government in my country, because of people like TiK, people would believe that the opponent of the far right candidate is the actual nazi because the opponent is a progressive! I am really scared for my life, for real!

Yes! But right now both Trump and AOC & Sanders don't care about deficit spending! Trump because he wants less money collected from his rich friends, and AOC because she wants the government to do everything for the citizens for free!

Thanks for this response! This helps me a lot! You know what it would be useful to me? A model similar to spiral dynamics for ranking perspectives and opinions from least truthul to highly truthful! A model like spiral dynamics makes me very sure of myself when I use it! I just don't feel that I am using it right by validating as truth and something as falsehood depending of how high that certain perspective is on the spiral! Right now any perspective that is rooted in Red and Blue I downright reject it, and I am overly skeptical with anything at Orange, but I never question Green and Yellow perspectives!
-
Look it is not so black and white whether it is false or not. I live in Romania where the communist way of doing politics still persists to this day! There are hundreds of government institution that are there just for the mistresses of the ruling politicians to have good paying jobs paid by the state! We have government institutions that count how many bears are in a forest..... Some bullshit like that, and for this reason I do support libertarian policies that would get rid of all of these useless government departments! But I am totally against TIK's libertarianism! I want a state that provides free health care, schooling, strong police, fire fighters while we pay moderate taxes for good government service! But I do agre with libertarians when it comes to deficit spending! I would rather have worse quality government services that to have them funded from deficit spending!

Here is where I am really lost! I always fear that the perspectives I currently hold as true for myself, might actually be false! I always fear that due to my personal biases and self deception I might mistake falsehood as truth! The one thing that helps me somewhat is spiral dynamics! When faced with 2 perspectives, I hold as true the one that I deem is higher on the spiral. But some other day I presented on twitter to some pro russian friend of mine the spiral dynamics model, and I told them that the west is at Orange while Russia is at Red! And he said that spiral dynamics is western bullshit propaganda that was created by the west to brainwash me! It left me wondering if this could be true! I dismissed it as false because he is pro Russian and I never take pro Russians seriously because they are in my eyes at stage red, but could I be the one that is deluded?
-
Yes, but sometimes I might be wrong on a subject, how do I know when to be humble and be critical of my own understanding of a topic, and when do I know that my worldview is correct and I should dismiss as gaslighting the arguments of the perspective that is contradicting my perspective? Here I find it really difficult, Thats the biggest problem I have right now in regards to self actualization work!
-
The reason I try to understand the worldview of people like TIK is because they have totally opposite worldviews than I do, and after a decade of watching you I always try to get a glimpse at multiple perspectives, I like to give people like TIK the benefit of the doubt that maybe I am wrong and maybe his worldview is right! I watched all your videos with the word truth in it recently just to understand how to get to the truth in situations like these! But after I watched them I was left even more confused! I have a really hard time discovering what is true! How do I overcome this?

I understand but the way he reframed everything from your blog post made me unable to form a counter argument! For him a guy like Trump is the opposite of Hitler because Trump loves the free market while AOC and Sanders are the real Hitlers because they want to heavily regulate the market
-
Look Leo here under his reply I posted your 40 points reply from your blog post to debunk his take that Hitler was a socialist: https://x.com/TIKhistory/status/1943964095352324453?t=6yK4CX7osnuek9f7OtRBTQ&s=19

For me it is not funny because they made me very unsure of my understanding of Nazism! I totally agree with your blog post where you describe point by point why Hitler was a conservative! I even asked Tik who today's neo nazis vote for? Do they vote for the Afd, or Die Linke? And he said that they vote for Die Linke! And that Bernie Sanders is more related to Hitler than Trump is! He made me unsure of myself when he pointed out that Nazis abolished the stock market! That is something todays socialists advocate for!
-
@Leo Gura Hi Leo, I really am confused in regards to Hitler and nazism. I argued on twitter today with that TIK guy about Hitler being far right, and I used phrases from your blog post about Hitler being a conservative to counter his arguments about Hitler being a leftist socialist! He debunked all the arguments you presented in that blog post, while claiming I am spreading falsehood, and all his followers jumped on me saying that Hitler was a socialist! I contemplated hard about this topic in the last year and I hate to admit it but there are a lot of stage red/blue socialist elements in Nazism! There were a lot of similarities to the USSR in regards to economy! Please add a book on your book list that I must read to clarify my confusions about this topic that this TIK guy brought upon my mind

@Basman No eastern European country would dare to take a swing at Russia! We here have collective trauma with the Russians! My honest guess is that the baltics are out of the question because the suwalki gap is one of the most militarized regions on earth, while the baltic sea is a nato lake! The baltics pose no immediate concern for the Russians. Poland, if Russia would ever dare to attack, my opinion is that the Russians would stand no chance, they would fail to even cross the border, Poland is a military powerhouse! There is only one option left, a country world wide notorious for its corruption, a weak ass corrupt military, corrupt government, pro Russian parties being really popular in that country, nostalgia for communism, and a natural barier the Russians could anchor their new frontier with the west! -
Once you explained that to me it all makes sense to me! Thank you for your response! Cheers!

@Basman Great analysis! I loved reading it! After Putin will have supposedly defeated Ukraine, and after he will Moldova will surrender to Putin in just a few days, If you had to make a wild guess, where would Putin give his next blow? If you were to make a guess, which Nato country would you bet Putin will try to invade to test NATO? Is it the Baltics, is it Poland, or is it Romania? Which of these 3 countries seems to be the weak link that would allow Putin a demonstration of force against NATO? -
@Leo Gura Why society and mankind as a whole would collapse if mankind realized God at a collective level? Why is it that God realization would make somehow society less functional? I totally agree that we are all full of shit, but why would people stop going to work, doing their duty as citizens etc if mankind as a whole would discover God? I tried to contemplate it but I can't figure out why you say society would collapse once mankind would drop all the bullshit and discover God.

@Nilsi Great analysis of the situation! I loved it! I think you really grasp the situation! But I don't think we should underestimate Russia! Russia ain't no pushover! And you realize that in Ukraine, Russia is going up against the finest and best NATO equipment that NATO has to offer! Only the manpower is Ukrainian, all the weaponry is western. In a way Putin is fighting the entire West all at once! But if he manages to win the war in Ukraine, I think the Russians will really go against Nato to reclaim the former Warsaw pact countries! After all, this was their real goal all along! -
@MuadDib Great song!

Finally someone that has the same biases and worldview towards Russia as I do! I love when people share my biases! -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Exactly! That is exactly what I wanted to say! But in general the average Russian man is more manly than the average westerner. Russians are much more accustomed to the hardships of life! The reason Ukraine fared so great against Russians is because Ukrainians have even more grith and are battle hardened by life, they have that stress tolerance that many westerners lost due to too much confront. -

@Leo Gura My personal opinion is that if Ukraine falls, Russia will push as far as it can go westwards, trying to anchor its border with the west on the Charpatian mountain range in Romania and Slovakia, they will push all the way to the baltic sea shores, thus wiping off the map the baltic states, and if they are bold and strong enough they will try to take half of Poland to try to narrow the gap of the enterance into the Eurasian plane! And this time the Russians will not have vassal states as in the Soviet era, they will annex the baltics , the half of Romania, the half of Poland and Slovakia into Russia proper, turning them into Chechen like republics, so if the west ever try to take them back, the Russians will be able to use nukes! Sounds far fetched but this is my hypothesis of what will happen once Russia does away with Ukraine! -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
The countries you outlined are in any shape or form bordering Russia, or are even in close proximity to it? Why aren't there nukes in Finland, the baltics, Poland, Romania etc? They have been NATO members for over 2 or 3 decades! -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
That is a legitimate concern that Russians should have, but the west would never put nukes in Ukraine, and Ukraine should not opress Russians living in Ukraine. But this doesn't justify what Russia is doing right now! -
Daniel Balan replied to Daniel Balan's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Breakingthewall The West will never invade Russia because, the truth is, even if more technological advanced, all the people in the west are pussies that cry even if they scrached their knee a little! We are pussies compared to the battle hardened Russians, we value our western conforts way too much to ever invade another country, let alone a behemoth like Russia! I'm talking about Europeans, the US sure, they will forever wage wars in the middle east, but Europeans are far too pussies to ever go to war again. -

If Putin isn't an expansionist why is he doing Russification in the conquered territories, why did he annex almost a third of Ukraine? Why does he want NATO and EU out of all the former Warsaw pact members? Why is he interfering in Europes election with massive anti EU propaganda? Why does he threaten Poland, The Baltics with war? You call this defensive? Has the west since the fall of the USSR leaked plans to invade Russia? Did the west pay massive propaganda to inteferee in Russian elections? Tell me, which threat are the Russians defending themselves from?
