I'm talking on more fundamental terms, quantum level and below and such things, Akashic fields and such aspects of existence, nothing really to do with Human mind and such, as I agree, most Human minds are relatively simple and predicable, easily conditioned by the society around them, few have the grasp of the capabilities of the Human Mind in its fullest potential and that is just at Mind level, Human Beings can go far beyond Mind level... The sort of Intelligence I am talking about is not about Calculations and Figuring things out, its more about how things come to be, what makes something work, organization on a level we cannot understand or fathom, complex patterns that seem to not logically combine but do, like they say in Daoism, the Dao is not the Dao if it can be explained via logic... -

Identify with Ignorance as Ignorance is boundless, knowledge is limited so if You identify with something limited you will be limited too... You know how to survive and accumulate more of what You are lacking in, ppl today accumulate ppl, places and things and experience, because they lack in real Experience and Clarity of what they really are... -

Sadhguru addresses this directly here, i've bookmarked to where he answers "Is God Love", i luv the brilliance of his answer, which is NO. Existence, or God, Brahman, whatever allowed this all to happen, was there before Creation and here Now always, is more Intelligence than anything.. Just think of an Atom, the smallest object, we have been studying it for a very long time, spent billions on machines to find out its secrets, and we still do not know all there is to know about the Atom, but there are more Atoms within You than there are stars in the entire Universe, but we know little about it, why it is here, how it was created, when it was created, etc,. and this is just about the smallest object, what about everything else? What is allowing everything to happen, to be created and destroyed every milli second, how did it really start and how will it end, and cycle to another Universe, this sort of Grand Intelligence is so vast and complex we will never understand it, but it is within Us and can Experience a piece of it... People will always attribute God to what they are lacking in, God is Love, God is Power, God is all Knowing, etc...God is all these things, not just one thing. Love is essentially a very intense Emotion Humans are capable of, but Bliss trumps Love and Ecstasy Trumps Blilss, if You stay in Bliss for long periods of Time You will not want to go down to Love State, it won't sustain You lol.. The Hindus put it the best, Existence is Sat Chi Annada, Truth Consciousness Bliss... -

Here Adam talks about some of the final stages he went thru, Experiencing Original Nature (Sing in Daoism) and he talks about Dissolving and then coming back to Form, he uses the analogy of becoming the Ocean and then becoming Ice, and going back and forth but the common element is Water, learning to discern that between the shifting btwn the two states you are always Water, Water meaning the Brahman, Atman, Dao, Infinite Universe of formlessness, God or whatever label you want to use..He also discusses the mistake of making the experience a Noun by announcing or thinking "I am Enlightened or I have Arrived/Awakened", since this is about Infinity and such there is no End to it and by thinking/identifying that there is, you stop the process... He also talks about how the paths differ, Shamanism path of using drugs, or Mystic path of using doing/non doing practices, and if You don't want to go all the way how just 15-50min a day of steady practice can get You stress free and full of Well Beingness...Very Wise Man and path!! -
Yes and No, lol, another paradox for sure, doing nothing should be easy compared to doing something right, but right now the way most of us are set up is the doing nothing is the hardest thing, So when ppl say just do nothing, its easier said than done, but for some rare few it works, they more than likely Fall into it naturally, it just comes upon them...Most of us need a method to get to that point!

Let say You have a baby, the baby knows nothing about anything, you let the baby be free all you do is feed it, see how long the baby survives, it picks up a knife, doesn't know what a knife is, cuts itself, dies by bleeding out (this is Top Down method Thinking and Approach, nothing has to be done, let everything be as it may and let the ball roll where it wants to go, you have no control over anything...) This is what it basically means when You don't learn lessons and gain wisdom, now the example was on the Survival level of life, but this applies to everything, saying nothing has to be done, be the way you are, I'm already there and stuff like this doesn't work for most ppl, simply because they can't just do nothing, doing absolutely nothing means, no thinking, no ideology, no wanting/needing, no desire, no intention, no definitions of words, no discretion, no nothing, can you do this right now? If You can then Your there already, Enlightened as we say, but can that be done by You, if not you have to find another way... Traps are there, many ppl fall into them everyday, it wastes allot of time, so gain some clarity, so life is lived with Ease, Ease means you are not touched by what is going on around you via Situations, life is not about Situations, its about what is going on within YOU...

Its difficult when its not in Realization and one is not Aware of it, its easy when one is in Realization of it and is Aware of it, all that have gone to this place of experience say the samething, suffering was needed but then not needed when Realized and such sayings, so its a paradox in some ways, Realization is key, how to get there is varied... -

Sadhguru is very practical in my experience, you just have to be exposed to the methods he shares, which he doesn't generally do online, shambhavi mahamudra is online now and that just happened recently, a powerful practice along with Surya Kriya and Namaskar which balances you with the Moon and Sun, both available at Isha Foundation and very practical...He's just peaking one's interest so they explore further, its called Seeking!! The thing is he is saying was said in 2018, so his predictions are spot on for the timing for sure... -
Joe talking recently about the up coming Tyson vs Jake Paul fight, just watch it. Now I'm a fight fan too, been doing Martial Arts over 30yrs, studied allot of fighters and it was just interesting too me, the whole game of it, and I'm not a fighter guy, I'm a coach guy, but its all very interesting, its sort of a combination of Science and Pure Killer Instinct, that is what a good fighter is and what Tyson was in his prime, he had those two qualities, but I'm not going to freak out over it and become like a little child that is drooling because of Tyson and his skills and a upcoming fight lol,,, he's immature plain and simple...

Hi, I didn't mean to make like that, just using a simple example of ppl doing what they are interested in, by the way have You watched "Sound of Freedom" it came out recently, its about this stuff I mentioned, they say there are over a million children involved with this stuff, so its not so small and isolated, that sort of supply means there's a great need, its the same with drugs, the cartels in mexico are making more $$ now and shipping more cocaine than ever, why is that, because the need is there, so these are just two examples of things going on in the world, there is many many more, so just saying ppl don't need to go and do what they are interested in, they aren't conscious enough yet lol, I witness daily the consciousness level of normal everyday humans, they are not there yet for that sort of drive to go for what they are interested in, they are interested in very low level things and some are not so healthy for them or the rest of us... -

When one comes to another culture to live, follow that cultures ways of living, drop the one you came from, or keep it at home, and don't identify with Culture too much, just enjoy it, enjoy the diversity of it when it comes into your life within the moment, then drop it when its not there... -
Ishanga replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
I live in Toronto, which is supposedly the most culturally diverse place in the world, every culture and ppls are here, and there's lots of problems, the main one is that ppl from other places come here looking for opportunity and higher standard of living, but still are entangled with their culture from back home, they want here to be there, but they left there to be here, which is weird... Simple example, the drivers here are very very bad, no courtesy, no signally, no common sense, this is from ppl from other cultures, driving the way they drive back home and doing so here, but it causes allot of headaches and time delays, which is crazy, just a simple example.. Where I work there's lots of cultures there, they are all good people, everyone gets along and mixes with others and talks among each other, so there are good examples of working together too, but my work place employer (which is a world wide recognized company, functioning all over the world) has a culture set up, everyone learns it and abides by it for the most part, everyone is not trying to bring their own culture here at my workplace and trying to function from that, it won't work that way... So the problem is Identifying with Culture too much, Culture is just the society around You telling You what to like, what to dislike, how to function and think within that society, but cultures vary greatly from place to place... -

Yes but can one do it? Can You Realize and Experience what You already Are? One cannot simply make the statement and have it as an experience right off the bat, this is what I have a problem with with Top Level Down ppl that say, nothing has to be done, this is what You are, just be it! Its easier said than done, but obviously the world is not realizing they are what they already are which is Enlightened, if they were would the world have as much suffering as it has? Lets not say there is no Suffering, there is just as much if not more Suffering going on today than ever since the population is more than ever and ppl are out of touch with what is more than ever. So that is why there are methods and paths, don't get crazy thinking the path is what it is, it just a path, the way to get to the Realization that You are already Enlightened and There... -
Well I think Your on Your way with Kriya Yoga practice as a method to get there, but also we need to deal with our minds and intellects going wild and such,,, In Sadhguru's Inner Engineering course, there are 7 lectures on various aspect of life, he talks about Living Now absolutely because NOW is all there is, past is just memory, future is just imagination, both do not exist, only NOW exists, so focus on NOW, use memory/past to become Wise from not Wounded, use imagination/future to plan for, but don't Emotionally live there, Mind is all about memory and imagination, so don't live via the Mind, live via Awareness, Kriya will help with that.. Also, he talks about "This moment is Inevitable" this is about Acceptance I think, when You Accept Absolutely, then no stress response can happen, now just because You accept now, doesn't mean you want it this way, it just means You Accept, via that, and no stress, Your natural Intelligence rise up to higher degrees and intensity in your life and can make things happen that you want to happen more easily, the key is too not Resist what Is, that causes Stress and suffering... Third, he talks about Responsibility, which is the Ability to Respond to Life rather than React, Reacting is Compulsivity, Responding is being Conscious and Aware, its bringing Your natural Free Will into play, How do I want to be within myself today, Happy or Sad, Alive or Dead, this sort of thing, so internalizing these thing, making them natural rising not intellectual thinking projects, along with Your Kriya practice should do the trick to get you out of Survival mode and living up to high planes of Transformation and Existence..:)

Yes exactly, ppl are interested in all sorts of stupid and destructive things, you want them to pursue that? In the Toronto area there was just a bust of Sexually explicit child porn material, something like 64 ppl were arrested, someone had something like 30 terabits of images and videos in their possession, you think ppl pursuing this sort of thing is fine? People misinterpret the path as what it is all about, the path is just the path, the way to get there without making all the mistakes and making it possible to do it within this lifetime, rather than many, but its not the primary of what it is all about, ppl get hung up on the how too much... -

The Psychedelics users on this forum will relate heavily with the "This Side of Paradise" episode I would imagine, other like myself, more into the Traditional ways of gaining Spiritual insight will relate more with the "Errand of Mercy" episode, as its like an everyday person meeting up it with Enlightened one and the contrast... -
Consciousness meaning that which is the basis or fundamental in existence and before existence or creation, some call this Brahman, or Life Source, Grand Intelligence, or Shiva which means "That which is Not", so Consciousness in this case exists on all planes, but we as Humans can realize it on different levels of Experience.. The Fundamental is that we are this Consciousness in a Human Form, Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience, but some never identify with the Spiritual part, they only Identify with the Human part, which is all about Self Preservation, Survival, Accumulation of ppl, places and things, procreation, that's it..We can Live beyond these things, whatever it is that You accumulate is not You, something is there that is more fundamental, but just because you find it and experience it, doesn't mean you throw away everything else like the Human part of it, so first establish Your BEING, that is the Spiritual part, then live life accordingly without any suffering in the way...

Yes, their normal is peaceful but totally willing to go to war, freedom but at a great cost and exploration, never being satisfied and always looking to find more of whatever it is they are looking for, there are quite a few quotes of dialogue concerning their present outlook compared to the beings on the planet who are total content and non violent, in the end they say they were like Kirk and crew millions of years prior but evolved beyond it...Its duality being presented on screen, one can choose how they want to be just by watching it lol, along with the Kung Fu series from the early 70's which brought Buddhism to popularity, it was a interesting time in TV land, compared to today's TV streaming series which for the most part is pretty horrible, except for Shogun lol... -

Its interesting to note that Spock eventually in his later years begins to drop his ideological addiction to Logic, and opens up more to Emotions and other ways of experiencing things and living life... -
Ishanga replied to James Swartz's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes completely agree, its a Sweet path of the Emotions and such attributes, I call it the path of Bliss, once You feel the Bliss that is inherent within all of Us, always there, then life Transforms, all suffering is gone and never to return, then there is no service just being natural, like when I cut my skin, it natural to take care of it, no service required, just naturalness flowering out in expression coming from the Bliss/Love within that is not dependent on anything or anyone, then Life potentials open up and real living begins, nice Sharing James... Fundamentally we are a bunch of atoms somehow put together in a way that we appear as Human Beings with these Bodies, two arms/legs, walking running around eating and breathing all the time, with a mind that thinks, dreams, creates and such, but does how does this happen, from the smallest object to what we are right now? We have no experience of the individual trillions upon trillions of atoms making all of this up, and how does it all come together and make us whole as it does, with all its potential.. So there is the fundamental way of looking at things, we are all One, existence is all connected and One, nothing is Separate, and everything on the surface will someday die so its impermanent which for some means it doesn't really exist, all the exist is that which is permanent, so nothing bound by cycles (Physicality/Materiality) eventually dies..But we have to Realize this within ourselves, some do some don't if all did then this forum would not be here, things in the world would not be as they are, so what does that all mean? It means we have potentials but we have to realize it for ourselves, via higher Consciousness..so there are levels to it all, physical nature, mental nature, spiritual nature...to only see and realize the fundamental, is to only see one side of it imo...

I agree he does have mature views, he studies allot of differing areas of culture and study, but when he freaks out over a UFC fight, posts some stupid stuff about nothing, like hey man grow up already lol...its his life and I am not sure he is playing any games, he already has it all money and fame wise, I don't watch his show much only if the guest seems interesting, but he recycles allot of guest...like all that get to his place they get in a cacoon of sorts, can relate to reality of what is really going on...Its Like Stallone, I luv the guys movies especially Rocky, but even at his age he seems to still want the spotlight and fame to increase, like he hasn't grown up lol, most of his biggest fans luv him for it but I like the way he was back in the day, seemed more real and intellectual and with it...
