No, I wouldn't say this is the right definition, at least how I interpret it. An aspect of God or Source Intelligence as I like to refer to it, is in everything, but dog poop is Gross material, from poop though comes flowers correct? So that is how it sort of works... Funny thing I was just thinking of this very topic today lol, not poop but the word Divine and how it relates to everything else, again as I've described before, everything goes from Subtle to Grossness, what we have on this Earth is various levels of Grossness, poop is much more on the Grossness side than Oxygen, but both are Physical in nature, they have atoms and molecules and such, but Your Thoughts are much more Subtle than Oxygen, and Dreams are more Subtle I would say than thoughts, like the Sub Conscious Mind is more Subtle than Your Conscious Mind and so forth.... But what is Divinity on this Earth, Consecration is the act of making something that is Gross in essence into something the is Divine in essence, from Gross to Much More Subtle nature I would say, a high level of Subtleness I guess could be considered Divine in nature, a basically Dead thing become an Alive thing is a simple way to put it.. Everything we can sense with our 5 senses has atoms in it essentially, but not everything we can sense is Alive, so there is a big difference there! -
This Youtube Channel popped up on my Home Screen, its a new one, its about the People Involved with Isha, which Sadhguru created back in the early 90's, the first two videos is an interview with someone that was there at the beginning, after Jaggi's/Sadhguru's Enlightenment, but before the actual creation of Isha, the Dylanalinga, and the ashram where it is Now, he talks about many things from the Beginning times, with lots of old videos and pictures to go along with it: - How he got involved with Jaggi/Sadhguru - the Difference between Jaggi Vasudev and Sadhguru - the creation of the Ashram in Coimbatore in India - Jaggi/Sadhguru display on numerious occassions of Siddhi Powers and such Mystical Phenomenon... - what went down during the consecration of the Dylanalinga and such.. - what is Life like Now and his relationship with Sadhguru.. - Catholic Father compares Sadhguru with Jesus... much more... Thought to share it for those interested in how things got started compared to where Isha is today, very interesting stuff... Its in Indian Language but has very good subtitles!! Part 1 - part 2-

Fate is only a Reality after the FACT! That means after the moment has come, then it was fated, as each moment is Inevitable to be the way it was, before the moment happens, its up in the air, anything can happen, when it comes to Interior Experience within Yourself, Your totally able to control it and that is the basis of Free Will, what is happening outside of You situationally, the best you can do is 50% control, unless Your a billionaire then You can control much more than that when it comes to your situation around You... -

Yes we do, in the context that we can determine how we experience life within and our general destiny, most ppl are living via fate which is living by accident, like walking around a room in the dark, enlightenment is turning the light ON! Free will is our basic make up, we just have to strive to access it.. -

No this is not true, but I think it may come up in a court case if You hurt someone badly in a altercation, which is why I avoid that stuff at all cost! -

Jiddu Krishnamurti Indian philosopher and orator is the more famous of the Krishnamurti, Jiddu one is anti Guru and anti System, even though he did talks with thousands in attendance giving advice lol, he is very wise, more of a Intellectual than a Guru imo... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiddu_Krishnamurti Bruce Lee was heavily influenced by JD Krishnamurti, his whole Jeet Kune Do Martial Art is based on this... -

Well when You love something its easy to train in, so that was the motivation for me, I just took me over for a long time, not so much nowadays, but for many years all I could think about was Kung Fu Fighting, but I'm no Fighter, just luv'd to train in it and explore the skill set:) Before that is was Tennis, nowadays its Yoga and Spirituality and staying alive in Toronto Traffic! -

Umm in Chinese Martial Arts, they have levels rather than belts, in the first system I'm highly ranked but no longer associated with them, in the other one they didn't really have ranking, as it was a closed off group of sorts, they trained in parks and garages lol, but were very good and highly skilled... I stopped teaching when covid hit, but want to get back to it, but have been teaching since 1990.. -

I like system and methods to things, when it comes to Spirituality I haven't found anything more Effective than Sadhguru's approach.. I remember when I was training hard in Martial Arts, I had trained in a system of Chinese Kung Fu called Wing Chun, there are many variations and methods to this one style, so I had learned one version of it for 18yrs, I thought I knew what it was all about, then I travelled to another instructors place far away from my hometown, and got blown away, his method was very different and very effective.. So I trained in that method for another 6yrs, and about 3yrs in a training partner and I had a conversation, the thought of "Could we figure this stuff out by ourselves" entered our minds, and the answer was NO, we needed someone to show us and teach us how it worked, how the training method would lead us to a certain skill set, so since then I like methods and systems, the abstract stuff I dabble in for entertainment mostly:) -

There are Guru's and Enlightened Beings for sure always on this Earth at all times, we may not recognize them as Enlightened, I assume most of them stay quiet and just are the example to others to follow by, that is as well a good way to teach, simply by example! I don't buy into this thing of "we are all so different" maybe so on the surface, our likes and dislikes, our personalities are different, but go a bit deeper than those surface things and you will find most ppl are pretty well the same, just at differing intensity levels and such. The Ego luv to feel very different, and to tell stories of how different we are... We all have Needs & Wants, we all Want to be More than what we are Right Now... Just see how many ppl are so addicted to their phones, social media, drugs, alcohol, gambling, its like most ppl have been programed lol, so in essence we are essentially the same, only on the surface do we appear different! Yes some of us have differing level of Physical, Mental, Emotional and Energetic, Creative skill sets, and its cool that we do, imagine everyone being the exact same on these levels, it would be so boring here lol, so uniqueness is something to be in amazement of as well... -

I agree for the most part, in the end its up too You, its how Willing You are to the process of it, part of it is becoming a Devotee of the Guru, this is very very hard, but there are many examples of ppl today being very gullible to the tribal thinking and so forth, so it happens, but true real Guru's are rare, in human form that is, everything in a way is a Guru, but for practical purposes for Enlightenment sooner or later most will need some sort of guide that can help one along the road, no super athlete has gotten there all on their own, the majority have had some support along the way, but of course there are the rare few that have done it completely alone, this I think has to do with their Karma, they did lots of Sadhana and preparation in previous lives to make it happen in this one... I think each generation has some, its nature's way to make it a possibility so they are always there, one just has to find them or they come into Your life when needed, like they say "The Teacher will arrive when the Student is Ready" ... -

The Guru works on many levels, it depends on many things, factors and such. For eg at certain programs from what I know, during initiation to certain practices the Guru works on the Energy level, they can influence or adjust ppl's energy, fix certain chakra points and such, esoteric stuff yes, but they've been doing it for millennia... Its sort of like standing next to a fire, You get Warm, if You go too close You get burnt, but if You have the right distance and awareness it keeps You warm when its cold outside, so the Guru is like that in metaphorical ways.. They can read Your Karmic makeup, this helps allot, as well see where the Energy blockages and such are, so in many ways they help, they can even give You the experience like a dmt trip, but not for long as it may damage Your system if You stay there too long...In today's world they can also give You concepts, simple intellectual tools that can get You curious, in Sadhguru's Inner Engineering program the first 6 lessons are just this, things about how time works, the mind, the influence of Sound/Mantra, what the meaning of Life is, and its essence too, practical things that create more curiosity but as well give You things You can use right now... -

There's a saying that says "You already are Enlightened, You just don't Realize it Yet!", so I am more on this side of the coin. I believe we are full of Potential, the highest Potential for a Human Being is Enlightenment, which is Full Awareness of the Reality and its Nature and You being basically It! Meditation is too general of a term, but Sadhana is more appropriate, it basically means Spiritual Practice, and there are many available to fit the various personality and Karma types out there, nothing has to be invented or reworked for the "modern person", its just a matter of finding which one works for You the best, that is one of the jobs the Guru performs, they tailor the Sadhana to the Individual... Its purpose is too not make You Enlightened, but to allow Enlightenment to be Realized, there are many things going on within You right now that is preventing this Realization from Happening, Sadhana takes care of all of that, when that is done then Your There.. It can take 10min or 10yrs or 10 lifetimes, that is up to You, if You do it on your own it will probably take 10 lifetimes, with a proper Guru maybe within this lifetime.. Once You start on some serious Sadhana your Karma will ramp up very quickly, what that means in simple terms, what You normally experience in 10yrs, you may experience in a month or two, what You normally experience in a Lifetime You may experience in a year, so it depends on how the Guru sets things up and lays the foundation, some do it via what I call the Bliss route, they make You Blissful first, then that smooths the road, others do it differently... -

Your mind will tell you to seek symmetry, to pursue thoughts, to engage and create drama around them. Don't engage! Let go! easier said than done. Today we discuss a few topics related to this idea. The Only thing we have Control over is How we want to BE within OURSELVES, this comes from being Conscious/Aware of what the Reality is, via that we gain Free Will, or the Ability to Respond vs. Compulsivity or Reactivity, so in reality we can only control what is going on within ourselves, everything else that is outside of Us we cannot control completely, if You have 50% control then Your on a good path lol, but otherwise outside situations are random and very influx... But How Your respond to it all is totally under Your control if You want it too be.. But I understand Your situation, have dabbled in having my own business and doing things on my own in this nature, it can be very frustrating and exhausting, the thing we have to ask ourselves is is it worth it, is it giving me Joy and am I doing what I luv to do, if not then for sure suffering will come of it...

I think the True Meaning or Metaphor for the Rocky Character, to which I am a Great Great fan of, is that there is Potential within You that is mostly untapped. In all the Rocky Movies, Rocky has no "Rocky" to look up to, he finds his inspiration within Himself and Manifest it in his life, he gets up and keeps on fighting via his own Internal Motivation, which is untapped Potential in other words, everyone else is Using Rocky as motivation, so that is a big difference and is what Stallone is talking about... Its fine to once inawhile look for Motivation outside of Yourself, but don't rely on it solely, like putting Your Eggs in one basket, create Your own motivation (Beingness), then go out and perform Action and get Success.. The way Life should be lived is like this, Being--->Doing--->Having, Most ppl today are doing it the opposite, they are Doing--->Having--->Being but they never get to the Being part of it, they get caught up in the Doing/Having part and suffer for it..

I think You brought a few good points! First, You brought the idea that we are mostly not Conscious or Aware of what is going on within our own bodies, I think You are completely Correct in this Assessment, most of Us are not Aware of what is going on every moment within Our Bodies, Minds, Emotions and Energies, so what does that mean? Sadhguru points this out allot, it means that we are mostly living by Accident or Compulsively, not on Purpose or Consciously, so there is a big difference or gap here, what is the difference btwn living Compulsively vs. Consciously? I think when You live Compulsively, You have no Free Will, no ability to Respond to Life, when You live Consciously You do, so what is the difference on this level? With Free Will You determine Your Experience in Life, You determine Your Destiny! Without Free Will Your subject to Fate... Second You brought Up this idea of being Unconscious/Unaware or Asleep but everything is still functioning, Your Body is breathing, Heart is pumping, Body is doing what it can to keep You alive, but Your unaware of it and in deep sleep, this happens to Us all the time when going to Sleep at night, but what is this that is keeping us alive? Is it not some sort of program or system set up that is monitoring what is happening within our Bodies? Is it a reality that our Bodies are complex biological systems of sorts? If this is true whatever is monitoring it and adjusting the chemistry and biology to keep us alive when in Deep Sleep, it must be an intelligence of sorts, true or false? If that is True, then what is this Intelligence and am I Aware of it and intouch with it Consciously? And what would happen if I was intouch with it Consciously, how would that affect my Life? I think this Intelligence is the same Intelligence that is Mother Nature or Source or God, of whatever it is You want to call it, but its working on a basic level when in the context of keeping our Bodies going when in Deep Sleep or Unconscious, it works at a more advanced level when dealing with other phenomenon here on planet Earth and in the Cosmos... This intelligence I think is so sophisticated and that we are the only living things that are able to be Conscious and Experience it as it is, this imo is partly what it means to be Enlightened! -

Well it depends on what You want to do, maybe Your in a God Realization and want to stay here and play (Leela), or maybe dissolve this body and mind and go on to other dimensions or just merge with Absolute, that is the choice I would guess... -
Ishanga replied to Spiritual Warfare's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
So then as far as I can interpret what You said above, there are various states of Realization, sometimes Your God Realized, sometimes not, that indicates that individual Consciousness exists, as I do not know on a moment to moment basis what state of Consciousness Your in, and it fluctuates, that is all I am saying as well, sometimes we have it, sometimes not, the goal is to make it a permanent State of Experience...one can do this in many ways, we have to choose for ourselves what way works best for Us... -
Ishanga replied to Will1125's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I don't think I know it all, but from what I have researched by those that are in the Know, or they and others say they are, we are manifestations of Brahman, or Absolute, there is a realm of Absolute, its all about Oneness and Potential and a Grand Intelligence of sorts (don't think of this sort of Intelligence that is calculating or like we have we we figure things out or invent stuff, think a billions times more intelligence than how AI is supposed to be, something that is so complex (think of how complex an atom is) and connected and perfect in a way, that is Grand Intelligence or Source Code), but in the Absolute there is no experience or duality or karma, but Potential is there, via that Potential we have to appear, as does every other potential or possibility that can happen, so here we are in this material dual world as Human Beings, we are the most evolved life on this planet, but we can experience and live life like an animal or below animal nature, or God like, totally connected to everything via our Experience, so via Experience we work this out, play the game of leela and try to live beyond our animal nature which is very possible for most all of Us! Existence goes from Gross to Subtle, Subtle is Absolute, Gross is Us in animal form on this planet Earth where Duality exists, but Absolute in a way is our basic foundation, we have to strive to find it within ourselves! -
Ishanga replied to Will1125's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Davino That is interesting, as I did not do any significant research like asking AI to compare things as You did above, but I classified my understanding of Solipsism as Egoic or Narcissistic, but with the Experiential aspect as described above then I can see how one can say Yes I am a Solipsist, as it recognizes an all Inclusive Experience (Oneness, Completeness, Absolutist) but that form comes from that, which is the same things as saying all is Brahman, and that I am Brahman as is every other form, it acknowledges Form but that everything stems from this Brahman...I can accept that definition. My problem lies mostly in how ppl communicate it, when they do psychedelics or have grand Enlightened Experience then come back and say "I am Everything, or I am God..." for me this turns me off, it shouldn't be communicated this way, as there is no "I" in Absolute, there is just an Experience of Oneness, so I would phrase it like this "I experienced everything as One", again with using language to discuss these things it sooner or later forms contradictions and misnomers in a sense, you cannot directly discuss these things, only theorize and/or relate personal experiences, not make claims! -
Ishanga replied to Will1125's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Exactly! but he seems to think I don't know what I am talking about it, so therefore I must be nuts to not think Solipsism is the way to be, lol..again if Your the only one in existence. why are you on this forum, and whom are you asking??? Its complete Nut cases and crazy, this is why the world is so nuts and chaotic, in millions of different way ppl are perceiving life in there stupidest ways imaginable, if the is a God we need his help fast lol...
