Its the custom in the place he mostly lives and is from, if its not the custom elsewhere that is okay but it is where he is from using the label Guru, Sadhguru means non educated guru, he's not book educated, he comes from his own experience, that is what Sadhguru means... What Your doing is judging him based on Your customs and beliefs, not his...

He says this all the time, don't Look up to anyone, don't look Down on anyone, just see them the way they are, and especially towards him... If ppl still do it, its got nothing to do with him, so its not about Sadhguru watning ppl to look up to him, as he doesn't!

I like Osho allot, I think his biggest take away that he showcased was to confuse ppl, make them disbelieve everything they believed in, he could talk You out of anything and completely change Your Mindset pretty quickly, for sure he is high level of Consciousness!!

The problem with this is that anyone can say anything without all the facts.. Once anything gets "Organized" then things will happen, he cannot control all the ppl involved with running of Isha and the size it is, plus he's free to make decisions about what to do with it as he pleases since he created it, and there Isha Businesses, they have to generate income to support all the things they do otherwise how to do it? When You want to do big things in the world, you will automatically create enemies, certain ppl like things the way they are, and they will fight to the death to keep it that way, so anyone that comes along and tries to change things will face these sorts of ppl. His integrity is intact, he's not about himself or taking, its all about Giving and Transforming, if one cannot see this then what to say, they need much more work on themselves!

The issue of Sadhguru holding ppl back, from what I understand of what he has said, at the moment of Enlightenment most all ppl dissolve, that means they Mahasamadhi, as his wife did, they basically physically die, the "Soul" leaves the body, so what would happen if tons of ppl come to his ashram, claim they want Enlightenment, they do the sadhana and then they all mahasamadhi?? It would be chaos, they would have been shut down decades ago for sure.. So just think it thru, he's giving ppl the greatest opportunity they can ever have in Life, its there for them, and he supports them totally, via the temples, ashrams and programs offered... Regarding Devotion, its a tool, like the Deities, they created them to be used as tools, someone is devoteed to a certain God, Temple, Rock or Guru, its a tool they use to get to the Ultimate via their Emotions, they become devoid of self and totally into the object of Devotion. It won't work here in the west, we are too intellectually minded and Individualistic and Narcissistic for the most part... Sadhguru actually holds ppl back, just before they go all the way simply for the reason of public scrutiny and stuff like this, ppl would be suing and charging him like crazy if he let ppl go all the way on the regular, so that is why you don't hear much of the ppl that are involved with Isha being "Enlightened" and such things, plus he wants ppl to stay on this planet and help, not go dissolve and then be gone..

I wonder if it has anything to do with these two, this video is from 8yrs ago... Its a big process to go into any of the programs at Isha after the basic ones, Inner Engineering and Bhavana Spanada, you have to go thru interviews and such, especially the Bramacharyia program from what I've heard, they don't accept everyone that applies!

Sounds like You want to tell him what to say or not say, so what is that about, no personal choice of what to say in someone's life??? Yes he has millions that listen to what he says, he has a responsibility but I think he is very aware about that. There are all sorts of topics that come up in the Spiritual sphere, and I've heard him say many times he doesn't like to talk about things outside of ppl's present experience, but at times things come up, so he talks about it according to his own experience, personally I don't care about that stuff, its the other practical things he shares that concerns me.. You have to understand he's been doing this for decades, at times topics come up, he shares, but the majority of what he shares (like the one I shared at the start of this thread) are very on point, practical and needed!

LOL, I think You are totally cherry picking, out of the thousands of video's that Sadhguru shares, you think he is only talking about subjects like trees bleeding? come on be serious, if Your going to make a claim then do some research, don't cherry pick... Even he calls all this video and talking Circus, its crazy stuff for him, but its needed in this day and age, if not talking then no one listens and the world stays the same, so he has to do circus, he doesn't take it seriously for sure, but its needed to create curiosity and many benefit just from that, but there is way more to it, what You see of Sadhguru on Youtube is not it or what he is about!

Who is Entertaining? If communication of some sort is not there, then what to do? Why is Leo or Sadhguru communicating at all? They have an intention, to share something important to them for others to benefit, is that Entertainment? I don't think so, plus there are methods shared to, that for sure is not entertainment!
