  1. @Davino I think this is a nuanced and dangerous point. In the east traditions(the most high quality ones) transcending was never about denying oneself or restraining oneself. It was about doing stuff with Awareness and to understand deeply all your most fervent human desires. The traditions didnt say for you to abandon or restrain lust or power. But to do this stuff with awareness, see its illusory and transient nature. The Ego wont last Death's visit, so the wise one goes for Death. The traditions was trying to point to people that, while sex, power and money is good, it is not the ultimate gold. They were trying to get people to understand Death -- essentialy. Transcending sex, power and money might be self-deception, but not understanding Death is an even deeper one in my view(And I say this while still not grasping what Death is, but I see the importance of it because its the only certainty one have in life). I think balance is key, you need to deeply enjoy the ego, but at the same time trying to understand it and go beyond it.
  2. So the next step before AGI is a smartwatch type device? Which device will the next step be on?
  3. Cant imagine a condition like that, GOD is GOOD
  4. @Leo Gura Does absolute sex exist? Is there sex realms where theres infinite beautiful feminine forms for men to take pleasure in?😳
  5. Say you will trip on the weekend like Saturday. But then you got invited to a party on friday and there will be girls there. You mess around and hit on girls and maybe even manage to have sex with them on that day and goof around. WIll this have an impact on your trip on the following day? Have you done something similar? Whats your trip experience after messing around in "non-consciousness work activities"?
  6. @UnbornTao You put too much faith in Ramana... You dont even know if he is real or not. He could just be your hallucination. Dont put too much authority on people, discover for yourself whats true.
  7. it is, and you cannot prove otherwise. Those hierarchies are relative things and from a certain point of view. ---- If you been doing this work for some time it does seem that there are higher and lower forms of aesthetics, but for me thats just your ego leaking lol
  8. Good video for peeking into the psychology of the achiever archetype.
  9. @Nemra Why you got an angry photo of my cat?
  10. Damn, interesting observations and insights. The doing nothing part is too real... everything fades, this is simple but profound. I never had hallucinations while meditating, interesting. You might have high sensitivity and high spiritual potential Keep us informed!
  11. Not repression but conquering it. Pain will emerge, but you will remain undisturbed. That is what transcendence means.
  12. No, I mean you can feel the pain, but not react to it and not get overwhelmed by it no matter how intense. Like when you know you are horny but decide not to react or act on it.
  13. Damn, didnt know about this case you mentioned, interesting. And yeah, transcending pain seems to be one of the final challenges. Which makes me think, if you are not afraid of anything anymore. Say that you understand fear deeply, doesnt that mean you groked pain too? I think if you dont have any fear whatsoever, pain aversion doesnt make any sense. It might be related. Like say you are a criminal and you were sent to burn at the stake, if you dont react, not even a little bit to the situation, I think you groked pain at some level at least.
  14. It is indeed very advanced, you basically conquered Death at that point, because you are always aware of the observer. Even in deep sleep, which is the absence of forms. I think another very advanced point is maintaining awareness even in insane pain and especially if it followed by tragic self-desctuction of a form. Like a human entering a meat grinder, if you can maintain awareness even through that you are really free from everything imaginable lol.
  15. Interesting. Is this your direct experience everyday?
  16. @integral How is your experience of sleep? Theres a saying that yogis dont really sleep -- they are aware, an observer still remains. Is that the case with you?
  17. If the fiction doesnt blow his mind in the first second he aint having it He wants shit now!!!
  18. @Entrepreneur Oh boy, you are attacking the forum's bible, you might need to dodge a pitchfork or two Lot's of people who are spiritually developed here are really arrogant underneath, that sneaky ego. Spiral dynamics just feed their ego of their supposed superiority over everyone else. You need to question everyone on this forum even if they are spiritually or cognitively developed, theres still huge ego and distortion and this model helps with that for sure.
  19. Of course you can question, but notice that you are questioning. What is that? This moment that allows your questioning, what is it? You can also question your question forever, doesnt mean you are right. Experience is. All questions happen within existence(whatever that is).
  20. Yes. You are experiencing things. Whether you are inside an alien program somewhere or in a dream is another matter. But still, things are happening right now. You are Aware! This is undeniable.
  21. Stop suffering is good and all. But I want the real gold -- how to stop pain? We need a new Buddha for this
  22. Tell me you're a coomer without telling me you are a coomer Jk
