I live in a 3rd world (South Asian) country, yes they're good in surviving, probably better then the 1st world countries. But the development will stagnate severely. Making the gap between 1st and 3rd world even bigger. The real 3rd world countries don't have major (export) industries. It's not like China or India where they manufacture stuff. There is almost nothing to fall back on, and also the governments are not developed enough to handle this kind of challenges. Especially when there's a lot of corruption still in these kind of countries. Corrupt people in high places are not giving up their power that easily. Within the model of Spiral Dynamics there is no skipping stages. Yellow without Green is just Orange. Yellow incorporates Green, feeling and empathy global ecological thinking. Yellow without Green is just Global systematic thinking how to enrich yourself even more. I think AI can be a great opportunity on the long term. It all depends on the monkeys who are deploying the AI. AGI is too far away for now, maybe not for AI, but for societies to be ready for AGI it will take a decade maybe multiple. Think how much governments and societies need to change to incorporate it. Change takes time.

I still cannot decide if the timing is perfect for AI to be introduced to the world or the worst thing. Companies in this late Orange era have proven to do anything to cut expenses and to maximise growth without any empathy or remorse for employees. The push from stakeholders is that high that we will see crazy things happening to even cut more costs and grow even more. Deploying AI now is like giving a nuclear weapon to a monkey. Now is the time for the 1st world (Green) countries to show why they're called Green. Acknowledging the impact of AI. There's no stopping it, so banning is stupid. Maybe there should be a quota between Human and AI staff, like we have with men and women or racial diversity in the developed countries. Or maybe put extra taxes on AI work. But how easy will it be for companies to find loop holes, misuse it or lie about it? Because they're Orange, of course they will do that. I think globally the 3rd world countries will be hit the hardest (again). There's a lot of invisible work done by low income countries, these are quite simple jobs and will be the easiest for AI to take over. These people will have no external government support and usually have big families to support. So on one hand the companies who will deploy AI cannot be trusted with the responsibility. So the worst time for deploying AI. On the other hand maybe AI and how it's deployed will give the final push to developed nations to really show the world why they're are called Green countries. Reigning in AI deployment, punishing bad Orange corporate behaviour, supporting people who are negatively affected by AI. So maybe the best time for AI to be deployed. I think in the long term it's the best timing to push Orange to Green. Maybe with a bit of luck it will push the Green countries into Yellow.

Unfortunately this guy is a bad example of how science and conservation is done. Even if you would like to call it that. It's just self glorification, and they label it with science. Basically stage Red approach to science, just one step above shooting the animal and then measuring it.

Yes, there's is progress made. But really slowly. Don't get me wrong Orange is loosing it's ground, but really slowly. That's why my predictions in my earlier posts says 20 to 30 years (debateable of course). The compromise is a built in strategy of Orange, compromising but still having grey areas and back doors built in, or postponing full effectiveness longer then needed. Also a common tactic of Orange especially in the Tech industry is praying on the ignorance of the often non Tech people in power making the legislation. Especially with the boomers. But yes as I said slowly Orange will be reigned in. But not as fast as is publicly perceived. Also don't make the mistake in thinking there's a difference what is publicly known and what is really going on. Full transparency is still a mirage, protecting assets/power, saving face takes first place in telling the truth. Don't be fooled in thinking that what is publicly known is the truth. How many times have we had the need for whistle blowers to understand what's really going on.

Just to clarify, cockblocking works not the best for Orange by totally blocking a piece of legislation. Because then there is fuel still for Blue/Orange to try again at some point. No the best way for Orange is to sneakily alter the legislation (by "lobbying") that the impact on Orange is minimal, but still on the front it looks like accomplishes something. Then when legislation is through, attention will be diverted to another area, leaving this legislation alone for the next 10 to 20 years.

And how are you going to create those crazy amounts of money? The only way to achieve that is to close your eyes to the damage you will do along the way. Then if you have enough buy your way back into undoing that damage? Why the necessity to get crazy rich anyway. You're being played, by your surrounding and social media. You don't have to be filthy rich to burn through your (materialistic) karma.

I would say we're at the beginning of said change, not in the middle yet. I'm not an American, nor have I been there or follow it in depth. But a lot of points you have is already implemented in N. Western Europe. And although those countries are seen as Green, the core is definitely still Orange. Don't under estimate how strong the grasp of Orange is in influencing legislation. And even if the legislation is there, they do anything to circumvent in all the grey areas they can find those legislations. I do follow tech news, and you see how the EU is making legislation, but by their own ignorance/stupidity or maybe even under influence of big tech, they only do a half ass job. Looking good on paper but in the end only 20 percent effective. The world is now run with maximising share holders profit in mind. Tech, Food, Transport, Health Care. A true Green environment does not need these legislations or does not do anything in it's power to circumvent does legislations for maximum profit. Just dive into recent news Apple against EU, Amazon practices, Uber etc. etc. So on the fore front of change, yes I think so, but it will be a hell of a fight and Orange will fight back hard. It will take time (how much is debatable) before the Green influence including the ripple effect will be dominant in a country like the US/N. Western Europe/Global. BTW, don't get fighting against Orange confused with Green perse. Some could also be Blue trying to fight back and keep/regain it's power.

Yup, USA, China, India, are not even close to transcending Orange. If you're referring to economical super powers that is. Heck most of them, still are coping with transcending Blue. Also the bigger (population wise) the country the slower the change. That's why you will see the smaller developed countries transcend first (roughly under 15 million people). Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, and to a certain degree Netherlands. But they're global influence is small. However you look at it, it will take a long time. But that's why it's called evolution. If it was fast it will be called a revolution, 😄.

Yeah to make a distinction, if we're talking as all the total global level, I agree. If we're looking at some of the most developed countries now, mainly north western Europe + Iceland maybe. I think they're not to far off. But I would reckon that even in the most developed countries now, you will find that Orange still has a strong grasp on the government and public society. Green is just the shell on the outside now of the most developed countries it will need to penetrate to the core to be fully Green. But yup, global not within our lifetime, most developed countries, who knows. Every time I see some stupid stuff how Orange is Oranging new ways in coming up with new stuff just for its own benefit, I think oh boy this is going to add X amount of years to undo the damage it created on micro and macro level. So my estimate is based on what stupid stuff Orange is doing now, not taking into account all the cockamamie stuff they will think of next and screw up my estimation. Maybe I need to go more meta here, to include this as well. 🤔😄

Don't forget American Psycho. I have seen an interview once with Christian Bale where peak Orange people were worshipping the movie. He asked them if they knew that the book and movie is one big satire, but it completely did not register for them. That whole life style is worshipped by Orange. Also I have heard in 2010 from my former colleagues who were working in the banking sector in when the financial crisis happened in 2008, no (moral) lessons were learned by the industry. They were at it again, while the world was still feeling the impact of their actions, they were gathering selfishly all the money and power again. Peak Orange has no personal responsibility and accountability. Causing damage as an individual is bad enough, for the last 60 years we have major sectors who affect peoples every days life working this way. Hopefully we will transcend Orange more now, only Orange still has so much power it's hard to get out of the web. Even if we get out, than we have to undo the damage. It will 20 to 30 years to fully transcend (and include) Orange to Green.

Plenty of Frogfish here in the Philippines. Also around the place where I live they're a common sighting. For most scuba divers the hairy Frogfish is the one that is the highest on their list. They're wonderful creatures, the underwater world is truly the closest way to explore alien life forms.

@koops Good effort for trying to make this list. But there's a couple of things that I want to add. One thing that is important is to make is a distinction between a natural integration of Red when the time is right to integrate, and an integration of Red for people who have missed out on it in their cultural/social upbringing. For me this post strikes me as the second distinction, integrating Red after people past the natural window. What I have seen multiple times before, in myself and others, especially in 1st Tier colours, when trying to integrate from a reaction of missing out there is a lot overcompensating done. Mostly this comes from repressed and uncontrolled emotions from denied natural integration. Multiple points in this topic look to me as overcompensation towards missing out the natural window. Why is this such an important distinction to make? Because people who are passing through Red in their natural window (as @Lila9 pointed out, age 13 to 20) may pick up at the over compensation points and in the end does more damage then good. At this moment we have a unique situation in the world where the need for integrating Red is high, because (western) culture was demonizing Red the last 35+ years. Now most of the information found (online and social media) out there is a reaction to this lack of Red. So this is OK for a (man) 25+ who missed out on Red and trying to integrate, so long if the person knows how to filter out the toxic stuff. But this information (I mean this trend, not this post) is not OK for the 14 yo who is exposed to this without asking through social media. Perfect example we have is Andrew Tate. This is classic over the top Red over compensation, (don't mistake him with proper integration). And you see the biggest defenders of his arresting where 14 to 20 yo protesting for his release. This age and development stage is still highly deceptible to any kind of imprinting without logical or sceptic thinking (because that has not come online yet for them) . Ask yourself this question, do you really want 14 yo experimenting with sex perversions, walking in a dangerous neighbourhood with money, etc. At the people trying to wanting to help yourself and others integrating Red. Contemplate on this question: Is this point I'm trying to make an reaction of missing out or is this something that a person passing through in the natural window also should know about? It's clear that society has no right answer yet of integrating Red in a healthy way for both distinctions. Opening the discussion how to integrate Red in a healthy way (in the natural window) into a society is something that needs to start now. Should this be a thing left to parents, or should the government provide possibilities for this for example in schools. Maybe a 2nd Tier society will have the answer for this. Because Green society is still reacting against Red, so that is not going to work. Exiting Red Another thing that I found lacking in this post is knowing when Red is fulfilled and it's time to exit this stage. @koops Maybe put a disclaimer in your post (and upcoming posts) that this is advise is meant for people who already past the natural window and trying to integrate, not overcompensate. BTW, this overcompensating and repressed emotions of denied integration is not only visible in the societal discussion of Integrating stage Red, but also you see this happening with feminism, gender equality, discrimination and racism. But that is a discussion for another topic.

Within tourism there are a lot of options for women. Tourism and hospitality are closely connected. One of the things to increase your chances in tourism and hospitality is languages. The more languages the easier you can communicate with people. Within tourism at least from my working and traveling I have seen. English, Spanish, German and French are the most important. Also Chinese and Korean to some degree. In different parts of the world Arabic can come more in to play. Working in tourism can be really fun and build confidence communicating and leading people while making sure they have a good time. If you want to see as much countries as possible go work on a cruise ship or an airline. You can build something for yourself within tourism. Within tourism you usually don't need many certificates. With hospitality usually there are some certificates. Tourism relies on your ability to reach people and convince them to take what you are offering. You can focus it on any target audience, men or women, does not matter. If you don't have the confidence to start on your own yet, apply for a job within a company first.
