It is this spineless attitude that makes you unsuccessful. You want it to be easy because your weak as a person. Have some self-respect. One YT video for clicks is hardly hard evidence of anything. Even then, you are essentially taking advantage of women in non-lucid state assuming you can pull this stuff of. And all because you can't handle not being popular with the chicks. Rat behavior.

I've heard once that it is much easier to hypnotize highly driven people because they are better at focusing on their imagination and imagine vividly. Don't know how true that is.

Awaken the Giant Within by Thony Robbins is pretty good. Equips you to deal with life. as inane as that sounds.

It is not really productive to think like that. I don't think it really matters how "fucked you are" financially as long as you have the means to make it, which you probably do. You just need to get on with it. LucasPX64's advice is pretty good. You speak decent English and your smart enough to operate a computer.

Dishonesty and manipulation won't necessarily ruin a relationship but it'll never be the same again once they find out, which they usually do eventually. Just communicate if you have concerns or ideas you want to share. Manipulation is completely unnecessary. You might have a savior complex if your trying to save people from themselves.

Personally, I don't believe in soul mates. I think it can make people perfectionist and lazy about their relationships at worst. -
what does "frame" mean exactly?

The mainstream is intellectually lazy, lacking curiosity and generally unserious. It is partially why political and ideological discourse is so bad nowadays. So hyperbolic and lacking in nuance.
-
I believe it started in the 80s with news channels looking to boost their ratings. Bipartisanship, polarization and drama is good for business because its emotionally engaging. As there can be no healthy discussion in a dynamic of mutual sensationalism of opposing views and errors, political ideologies entrench themselves into more extreme versions of themselves. Its partially a problem of the silent majority being invisible on social media which results in the loudest and the most extreme voices setting the tone of a conversation. Its why people associate extremism inherent to ideologies like MAGA, LGBTQ, veganism, feminism, Incel ideology, men's rights, etc. Its all tier 1 cringe.

You are all a bunch of nut jobs lol

Sometimes you have to be wrong to learn. Confident stupidity is frustrating because they tend to double-down instead of considering new info in earnest. Don't be afraid of being wrong and just try bouncing certain ideas around.
-
I find that I lack confidence in my knowledge of something if I haven't contemplated/researched the topic enough, at least to degree to feel like I know what I'm talking about. It is good thing to not over-commit to ideas you are not certain off by the way. There are already enough people confidently stupid.

This could give Ukraine some much needed leverage. Russia will have to divert resources their wide border and they could trade land during negotiations. If anything, this represents a moral victory which have been important in other wars despite not being directly strategically important.

An amazing breakdown of the situation:

Its hard to say exactly what the future will hold but there will likely be a decrease in available jobs due to automation as technology improves. In the book "Homo Deus" by Yuval Noah Harari, he points out that people will probably experience multiple industry shifts throughout their lifetime due to automation. Long-term job certainty might erode to the point where things like UBI becomes a serious talking point politically. The silver-lining of an increasingly uncertain job market is that you might as well just go for the thing you are the most passionate about. Then you are at least doing something you like and you have the motivation to become excellent at a skill. Today it is easy to trade passion for money and security but if the security is out then you might as well become a seamstress for porcelain dolls or whatever. Or run one of those enchanted forest fairy shops for women who had an unhappy childhood.

This is a good point, that there are social values that people typically don't get paid for but are important for a healthy society, like for example looking after relatives, especially older family members. A family unit combines the resources of multiple people which could ease the burden of the government to take care of needy people (besides being better for the mental well-being of needy people)

Yes you can. Survival doesn't work on what is "right" but what works. If you want to understand something, find its incentives. Consideration does not incentivize rape but it still happens, I.E. it doesn't matter how victims feel. This is not a moral argument, this is contemplating why rape happens. It is only humans that treat the morals of their society as self-evident. But those morals only work to the degree that its enforced, I.E. morals are not self-evident nor are they inherently good. For a lot of people, what is good is what is good for them personally. Its hypocritical to think otherwise. Humanity as a species is not a collective. Humans form collectives which then compete with other collectives for survival. It is only with time and development that different collectives tend benefit more from cooperation or are conquered and we get higher order collectives. This when you see an expanded circle of concern. It is no longer viable to exploit people from other groups with reckless abandon for the most part because of our globalized world. But that is only a relatively recent phenomena. Neither is that a quality inherent to base human behavior. If society collapses, humans will revert to exploiting others because its works. Does who don't do it will tend to be out competed in a lot of cases. You can't understand evil through moralizations. Exploring why evil exists requires you to see why evil is good from the perspective of an evil-doer.

I don't know about the wider UK but England is so conservative. I do understand the frustration, especially since you are black.

Of course the right act like idiots. That is to be expected. Its more problematic when the left doesn't do a good job of reaching out to the disenfranchised. Its the left that will be able to provide solutions to systemic issues that plague a country. Identity politics is a red herring in most cases. All this focus on racism is missing the point of a poorly run country. Nobody is rioting if they have money.
-
Bottom line is that they are not going to do it themselves. The left needs to do more than simply press their message harder. they need to appeal to average folk by embracing nationalism and traditional British values. Stop demonizing and alienating people with polarizing identity politics. Identity politics is ruining the left. But ultimately, the general populace is responsible for their political outcome whether or not they take that responsibility to heart. They'll have to learn the hard way if they want to vote stupid. And when it comes to racism and xenophobia, well England has always been highly traditional and ethnocentric. That's not really going to change any time soon. But progress in terms of tolerance has been astounding since after WW2. Your upset that England is not England in a 100 years from now essentially. And keep in mind, even if you are minority, if you live in a modern 1st world country you have it pretty good in general.
-
You need to take responsibility for the racists, bigots and idiots in your country. The complexities of how conservative politics sold out their economy the last 15 years in more or less beyond them. There's too much blaming and not enough taking responsibility on the left. And the left has a higher standard for politics than the right.

Give each of these rioters a million pounds cash and they'll mosey off home, I promise. Might even marry and have kids, help solve the birthing crisis.

I'm guessing that Canada has a relatively good standard of living for the average person. If people where much poorer then xenophobia would probably be more prevalent in Canada. What a lot of you are missing when discussing racism is that a lot of it is driven by economic insecurity and an underfunded public education system.

Self-help to me is just repeating the general message that you can accomplish what you set your mind unto. Pick your flavor.

I'm not justifying rape morally. I'm merely trying to understand why it happens. The problem with trying to understand behavior via ethics is that morality is inherently a self-referential system that works relative to a species relative needs and levels of development. Rape is unethical today because its bad for modern survival. There are social consequences for rape and people normally are horrified by it. But at one point in human history, barbarians would be elated at the chance to rape women who weren't part of their tribe most importantly due to a lack of social consequence. It wouldn't be seen as bad. Ethics are relative and can't be trusted to fully understanding something. Just because something is bad doesn't mean it doesn't have a purpose if your willing to look. Incentive-based understanding explains what ethics pussy foots around due to social conventions.
