Yeah, and Trump is bound to make even more deranged statements.

The holding back the Guard was a real smoking gun for Trump in my eyes. "Matthews’ memo begins by focusing on a 2:30 p.m. conference call on Jan. 6 that included senior military and law enforcement officials, himself and Walker among them. Then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund “pleaded” on the call for the immediate deployment of the National Guard to the Capitol, Matthews recalled, saying that rioters had breached the building’s perimeter. Walker has also told Congress that Sund made that plea then. According to Matthews, Flynn and Piatt both opposed the move."

The FBI passed on the Intel, the Guard was allegedly requested prior to January 6 but the requests were denied.

I liked this one on Trump, causes me to have more empathy for the scumbag, his father was a sociopath, his lawyer was McCarthy of McCarthyism's lawyer it's so funny to me how he completely molded to his lawyer and continued McCarthyism. He is the exact expectation of the baby you would get from his father and lawyer, his father was scared to death about life as a child himself which caused his sociopathic maniacal world view, his lawyer was a conman, showman, and morally bankrupt weasel. -
Great video, thank you.

The National Guard was standing by down the road. The rally was not at the Capitol Building, it was down the road, their permit was not for the Capitol Building so the police were spread out too thin when they marched to the Capitol. The Capitol Police requested the National Guard for hours before they came, there are claims Trump or his underling intentionally held the Guard back.

Trump holding off the national guard is a very large nail in his insurrectionist coffin in my eyes, it's standard procedure for them to have moved in immediately. Biden has no reason not to have them posted ahead of time, but I still feel there's no threat.

I often have faith in humanity, I see the younger generations and see an anti- consumption movement. We don't need to use all the energy we do, it would still be very practical to just reduce consumption down to safe levels, just not practical to get everyone on board. -
I can't see any violence happening, they're all talk, January 6 was just a mob mentality sort of thing and the most violent of them were there. I have no hesitation at all saying I see nothing to worry about. Tensions have also really cooled, although they still support Trump they don't have much faith in him and are seeing holes in him.

As an American in the thick of Conservative territory, I don't think there's reason to be concerned about social unrest if Trump runs and loses, just a bunch of hot air blown around.
-
Conservatives have already been claiming a wording technicality in the article omits the office of presidency for potential violators of the clause, stating the only offices it applies to are state offices, because it was for barring confederates, the President can't conduct a rebellion against himself or his government obviously. It's baloney but I see the conservative Supreme Court claiming the voters should decide. The Liberal play will be waiting until ballot day to make their claim, not giving the court enough time to hear the other States cases.

@Danioover9000 For space to earth energy I foresee solar satellites with laser transmission. You have a ring of satellites around the globe that reflect the sun to each other and down to collection sights on dark sides of the earth. -

Smaller nuclear plants placed in more desolate locations like Bill Gates is working on look promising to me. It seems clear to me that nuclear is the future, the moon and mars are going to be perfect locations for more radical systems testing which will foster great advancements. -
Yeah, I think it comes down to if would be Biden voters get to the polls, gonna need a high energy campaign for that old man, legalize marijuana or something.
-
@DocWatts Really good points I haven't considered. I don't see a house arrest campaign hurting Trump though, the novelty could really stir his base.
-
The value of anything is 'made up', gold or paper money, value of a house or cleaning a house, and the values are constantly changing, a 1997 gateway pc was quite expensive and worthless now, gold is inflated to a fiat currency actually.

Yeah, Republicans don't openly discuss cutting Social Security or Medicare, they talk about an " Evergreen Approach" which is cutting it only for the younger generation, of which their voters care nothing about. Most Americans support Abortion and Gun Control but they're not to the level of election influence. It's the fear machine like you pointed to that drives the vote.
-
Seems to me they're just short sighted greedy humans and Trump at least says he's the #themtoo candidate. It seems to me Biden's problems are 1.) War funding 2.) Illegal Immigration 3.) Housing, crime, and drugs 4.) Americans in general are just crybabies and use the government as a scapegoat for their pitiful misery, despite a previous comment this now hurts the incumbents. I don't think abortion or guns is a leading issue either way, most Americans don't care much either way. Apparently many don't care much about a moron criminal like Trump being President either.

Reuters https://www.reuters.com › world › t... Trump pledges to expel immigrants who support Hamas, ban Muslims ... Oct 17, 2023 — Donald Trump promised on Monday that if elected ... The problem isn't that they'll vote for Trump but that they won't vote. This is why I'm getting to the point where I don't give a fuck if Trump gets in again. He doesn't hurt me short term, I'm white and not poor, I mainly oppose him because he hurts the working class and minorities, but if they're going to allow him to win why should I give a fuck about them? I'll vote Biden hands down but I'm about done feeling sorry for people that won't even vote for themselves, I guess they need to learn the hard way.

It's essentially just a tax voucher. Essentially is from someone providing goods and services to a government for this tax voucher, that the citizens can then use to pay their taxes, it just also gets used in commerce due to convenience and efficiency. It does fluctuate via printing more, which is essentially a tax via inflation onto everyone, they can also destroy money for the opposite effect.

Thank you guys, I just feel so out of touch, so many people online and in everyday life here in the midwest, they seem to like Trump more now, like an underdog fighting for them.
-
I thought Desantis would be crushing Trump, but they still support Trump. How can you be so sure? I don't feel there's enough gumption from 2020 Biden voters to get them to the polls, looks like 2016 again.

Do you support the Russian occupation of Chechnya?
