I appreciate your resolve, I feel like you'll flesh out a problem I have and most people aren't willing to go the distance, thanks. Yes things impact my decision making, at the root though is what you might call intuition and I don't know what drives that. No matter how intelligent you are, how rational, you don't know what really drives you, at your core you're still with child like wonder and play, you're just adulterated by the "ignorance of the world". I think ?, or I should say "I feel".

So, things happening or coming to fruition don't GIVE us enjoyment. Enjoyment is a state of mind, accepting everything and just appreciating everything, that doesn't mean not doing anything though, that's the play/fun part. When you were a small child playing did you contemplate which activity was more fun? Even if not in words. How fun an activity was?
-
Enjoyment The way you're describing his love is fear based
-
I personally still tend to have fear, but ideally; yes of course See; Jesus

I have to go do something, I'll keep responding I'm not deserting Yes it's something fun
-
amusement or enjoyment
-
I don't think so, a lot of fun stuff where you end up dead.
-
So the thought is to not want a certain outcome, there's no desired outcome to be biased about
-
For a desired outcome
-
Pretty much true, irrelevant though, nothing wrong with bias
-
For the fun of it I think it does
-
I agree on the actions part but I think It should eliminate bias for a desired outcome Was Jesus?

RIGHT THERE So, I feel like I've already said it as best I can so this seems like repeating myself but I will I see a future dystopia as beautiful, not always, often times im fearful as well. When I can see the beauty, when I truly accept it not just that it might happen but accept that it's not worse than utopia, I can also with a playful mind choose to want to implement some of the things Daniel is considering, out of curiosity and adventure though. It's not collapse centered it's something to try centered It's not about results it's about the journey sort of thing I wouldn't approach the "problem" of civilization collapse

Do you think he's a.) trying to avoid something, or b.) do something, or c.________? His primary motivation

I never said we can't affect things, I said we should.

I agree. Ladies and gentlemen; Strawmanning

Ladies and gentlemen; Defensiveness

I didn't say freaked out. "Nobody wants a dystopia, so don't be so smug about this. " so I take it you don't think a dystopia would be beautiful?
-
Okay I just turned on the part one video and watched like 1 minute, watching that you don't think he's afraid of the outcome he's trying to avoid?
-
You think he thinks dystopia is beautiful?
-
Approach it as adventure, with curiosity, for fun, but being completely content with it turning into hell if it does, seeing how that too would be beautiful.

I don't mean he's fear mongering, at all either. The root to all societies problems is fear, Daniel is trying to solve our universal rather than local problems, which alone is fine. The problem is the universal problem is fear, and he is coming at this whole thing afraid of the outcome, he's trying to avoid an outcome; I.e. coming at it with fear. The solution to the problem he is trying to solve is to be fine with "hell" coming, no fear, that doesn't mean not doing anything, but the motive makes the difference.

i think it was attractor video number one where he spoke about how human nature does and has changed. I don't think he's thinking for everyone, he's like a modern day Ben franklin

He didn't say he was flirting with her!!!! Or that he was attracted to her!!!! You people are projecting She was pretty, girls love being called pretty, so long as you're not creepy about it. If you're attracted to her, get help.
