  1. Any good ways besides experience obviously, to test your views on things. The issue I'm kicking around right now is I appear to have an unrealistic idea of the type of people I can find to be friends with. I've been meeting a lot of people and they just don't seem to be the level of wise, and down to earth; you might say conscious, that I was thinking I could find if I put in enough work. How do I tell if im deluded? At some point you have to accept the data you've found and interpolate from it, I'm about to do that but I know it may be a mistake. Just sidenote because I assume people might go this way; Something unexpected and perhaps because I've been accumulating the "data", is I keep feeling less and less like I need what I was looking for, I'm not sure if this is good though, it goes against the teachings of being selective about your close friend group, I see toxicity in everyone, not to the level where I wouldn't enjoy the relationship, but im not at a place where most people wouldn't be able to bring me down at least temporarily anyways.
  2. Universities make more money and are incentivised You think you can't get out of poverty with a community college degree? By poverty do you mean not keeping up with the Kardashian's?
  3. Because the majority of people including the ones that proclaim peace love and sharing are primarily motivated by greed and envy. Most of the peace love and sharing people are peace love and sharing cuz they personally have nothing or relatively little to share so they make out in the deal. You put a carrot in front of most of the people in the world to motivate them for what they want, not by giving it to them I don't really know what you're asking by the vague question, but that's the basis of the conversation in my eyes. I'm actually a liberal by the way, but obviously don't think much of socialism. I support the loan forgiveness just for the reason of valuing education though, not because it's "fair"
  4. But what doesn't exist in the rest of the developed world is, ala, the opportunity in the u.s., which is because of our free market system I don't see inflated college tuition. Yeah ivy league and the top tech schools are the Ferrari model, the rest of the developed world also doesn't have the abundance of those we have. How do you get in the top universities in the socialist countries?you pay or you're really smart. Go to community college 5k a year Tuition, free if poor. No Lambo's for everyone Oprah, sorry
  5. Noted, thanks Yes I love solitary retreat, just when I used to think about the life i was going for I envisioned a few, like even just two stellar close friends that would be a positive or neutral impact on you. I always imagined I would have others that weren't and I wasn't just okay with that I wanted it and still do, that's also enjoyable.
  6. yeah I'm not trying to avoid negativity at all costs, I just thought I would find a few stellar people for like a retreat once in a while from the negative ones.
  7. And I'd punch em' in their face for a degree from the school of hard knocks You overpayed for your education, you should pay 0 in taxes those 5 years at 40k a year that's 40k more net income right there you unaccounted for. You don't pay taxes on the loan interest and 10k of the loan, housing expense, general living expense and once your adjusted net income is low enough you pay 0. Get a roommate for two years in a cheap apartment 11% tax on 20k adjusted income, 7.5%FICA on 40k= $5,400
  8. Thank you, that aligns with what I've been thinking.
  9. I agree, the thing im looking at is how the people closest to you affect your thinking.
  10. You can pay that off in first two years making 40k a year 32, lived on my own for 12 years, never had a loan in my life
  11. When you say tuition that's per year, yeah that's cheap 50k for a bachelor's from a university, you can pay that off in the first two years out if you got a responsible degree Cars cost that much I see NO problem!!!!!!!
  12. Well being that I live just south of Detroit 2 hours and KNOW the universities around here for IN STATE can be less than 20k, you're full of sh!t. B,) you shouldn't go to a UNIVERSITY if you're poor and dumb, go to a community college 3.) If education and life is so much better elsewhere, you have to be an imbecile to stay here, or a whiny liar.
  13. I don't assume that, nor think that, I think it's the valuing materialism Charging people a lot delivers better education to the smartest people, the people on full ride scholarships. If they can't afford it they're not that smart, they would have scholarships. So the rich people going then are smart then, if you're "not dumb at all" if you're going there, what's the problem with that? Rich kids have the support to put the education to better use.
  14. Which of those free education countries has the stronger economy than the u.s.? The u.s. has the most top level universities in the world, really smart kids go there free, if dumb kids also went there free the schools would not be as good. People around the world come here for the top education. Education in the u.s. is reasonably priced for what anyone needs, it's just we also have the Ferrari options, and they're available to anyone smart enough or foolish enough should they want a mortgage for a student loan. I only support the student loan forgiveness because it shows we value education.
  15. Exactly how I feel; they're still part of the herd. They're not free birds
  16. -limited world views: they think you sometimes have to compromise your values to survive in society. Our lives are somewhat at the behest of others. Working jobs they don't want to. -fear: our lives depend on society, don't step out of line, they're afraid to live how they want, to be themselves, afraid to be judged, they chimp expressions and mannerisms and what they like, follow the crowd -materialistic: insecure, acquiring debt unnecessarily burdening themselves all while cornering themselves into jobs and lives they don't love.
  17. Do you not think you can be accepting of life as it comes while also pursuing a life you would like to live?
  18. Good point, I mean his signature does say "You are Leo".
  19. It will increase inflation in the short term, but barely in any measurable amount. Long term, it will lower inflation, more intelligent people in the country and living more intelligently. He's basically the single largest active improver of collective consciousness at this instant.
  20. Nuclear family, happy, content, some friends, healthy, income source you're happy with, plenty of time to relax, a few interests, conscious
  21. When I see that guy I see $250, not millions, he's a fraud, you think a human trafficking ring is gonna let some dumbass blabber on about it and draw attention? His head would be in a cup. A lot of the internet schemers move to cheap places like that, all they need is an internet connection. Investigate him for sure, keep an eye on him for sure. I don't defend him against any evidence.
  22. Is he doing all this from jail? I don't defend him. But why isn't he in jail. He may be lying about that for attention as well. Those are serious allegations you're making on a guy not arrested. He may be those things, might not, should be investigated I don't know much about him, don't care either. I figure he'll be no one in a week.
  23. I think Daniels brilliant, if you watch a few videos you pick up on his glossary. Very creative stuff
  24. I've been known to be able to copy an paste at about 1,000 WPM? Hustler U Graduate Summa Cum Laude Just kidding
  25. I think he said he was done with the actualized forum, not coming back
