  1. https://whatisnuclear.com › blog › 2... Nuclear fuel will last us for 4 billion years Oct 28, 2020 — Nuclear fuel will last us for 4 billion years. Nick Touran, Ph.D. (nuclear engineering), 2020-10-28. Reading time: 7 minutes
  2. New nuclear reactor designs have not been tested like old ones, we don't know if there are design problems to be fleshed out yet. What I'm wanting to see is mini reactors at industrial facilities to use the reactors generated heated, industrial needs a lot of heat
  3. @aurum yeah. I have a less mainstream view; use less and less energy, even if you don't believe in manmade climate change fossil fuels pollute the air and water you ingest. I would like a real crackdown on energy use/pollution Ironically, the problem I'm looking at eventually solves it self though by reducing human population, but by an ugly means
  4. And now they have the masses swindled into giving them MORE "government assistance"????? "I'm yo Pushaaa..."
  5. At least he's honest about it, he admits he's a hustler crook These people sell you a master's in geology and tell you you're saving the planet. No, there's no geology jobs by the way.
  6. Surprising the smartest PhD people in our country wouldn't quit on a strike, I mean, consciousness. Like start a YouTube channel or something, have they no ethics?!?! PREDATORS!!!! thousands of Andrew Tates actually!! But we need their education, For Consciousness!!!!!!
  7. 400k student loan they're either a dermatologist making 400k A YEAR, or Van Wilder
  8. Will I likely regret disconnecting from my family, and is it unhealthy to do it? My family is a bit toxic, dysfunctional, and the source of most of my trauma. I'm pretty disconnected from them and have been. I loved them and care about them, my childhood and our relationships are a part of who I am, it's a little strange to me how easily I've walked away and don't really ever look back or feel like doing so. I plan on doing some therapy and this will be something to talk about for sure, I don't think about my past much at all, I don't reminisce or keep momentos. Is this a sign of a problem? I appreciate my past and to put it in my words adore it, but I still don't reminisce, it was f'd up at times, but not like dateline news f'd up. They're definitely sad I've disconnected, anything I should look at? Look up? Consider?
  9. I've thought the same thing, what else I could have done with the time and energy, so much energy
  10. Thanks I see no value in a relationship with them, only sentimental, which isn't really my thing.
  11. @Ulax I'll watch them, thanks
  12. I think she's asking about desirable options as to what life to pursue, something achievable, I don't think she's asking for unachievable options What about " Desirable Life Options", see any issue with that?
  13. So what do you call a life you work to have that you think is reasonable expectation, apparently not ideal, what would you title the thread?
  14. Be curious and try to not be insecure about your questions and answers, be open, just say what's on your mind so long as you're in a compassionate state of mind (if you're not in a compassionate state, you'll be rude, mean, judgmental), follow YOUR curiosity no matter how random it seems, don't try to guide the conversation
  15. Well. I'm sure there are better answerers for this on here but it's been a month so here's mine. That's awesome, to cope the way you want to go back to the way you were you'll have to suppress it during work time, and release it when you can, you won't be the way you were, for a while it will be difficult, try to enjoy that, it's beautiful, but there's a point where it gets much "better" than even before.
  16. Yes eliminate all responsibility of due diligence from adults, that's the problem, they want us to be responsible and think!!! They're at war with CONSCIOUSNESS!!!!
  17. "Not wanting to spend the rest of your life trapped in an exploitative, low wage job (which is the default for people who don't find a career in our society) isn't a sign of greed, as you project." True, but wanting a high paying job is a sign of greed. It's not something you need to not "spend the rest of your life trapped in an exploitative, low wage job", what traps you in the low paying job, and makes YOU think you'd be trapped, is greed and envy
  18. Deflecting much? What do they want from it? My conscious politics;Honesty, transparency, integrity, justice, not allowing people to be harmed by others, fairness, liberty, unity, camaraderie, respect, grace, compassion
  19. You think consciousness has something to do with education? What are they getting a "quality" education for? TO MAKE MONEY, lots and lots more money. to buy JUNK How many saints and sages have USC, MIT, Princeton, .... put out again? Community college is free for poor people, poor people get scholarships if smart Do you only want conscious people here? Am I not allowed to be here to learn?
  20. @zurew public universities are 40% government funded in the u.s., been for years Competition. Because of how the majority of people are motivated. Although I actually see a better way which is similar to what the socialists are pushing, but most of these socialists are just greedy and lazy. I don't mean the way it is is the way it should always be, just what you're pushing leads to dystopia; see the third attractor guy Daniel People are still primarily motivated by greed and envy in the u.s., you won't have what close knit small euro countries will have, and that euro dynamic also doesn't come with what the u.s. has. It's naturally moving that direction, but pushing it unnaturally causes backlash the other direction
  21. True, so who should decide which universities get how much money and why?
  22. So they're incentivised HIGHLY, to be THE BEST, competition drives quality.
  23. Great point, very relieving to think about! I feel very confident in the decision now.
