  1. So do you not agree with " it is because they have a choice that they even have this problem"?
  2. That's what I've assumed, it's because they're given the option, obviously given options some people are going to take different options. To me this makes me oppose it even more though or at least refuse to support it, I would say no to kids transitioning until I hear a better argument.
  3. I suppose once the box is opened you can't fully put it back in though.
  4. Yeah I agree, but by that logic if it's outlawed then it's no longer an option or problem.
  5. ? I think you're being a little tongue and cheek but I'll ask in case you're being literal, so is it mainly about sex? I don't see what I would hate about being a girl enough to transition, nor do I see where the thought to transition would naturally cross my mind(you cover this in your next post).
  6. @gettoefl So what about before we had these medical capabilities? The people just didn't have a chance?
  7. What would "a female brain in a male body" look like? Just a feminine man that prefers traditional female roles? The thought has never crossed my mind "what gender am I", that doesn't make sense to me, I'm just more masculine or feminine than others and have a penis. I have a penis and enjoy it, I think if I had a vagina and breasts I would love that with my current mind and biology as well, I could rock being a girl too. I really have no bearing with this concept and I've struggled thinking about it for a few years. I am unable to imagine it being to a level to change sexes except from social pressure, I just know some people feel an extreme amount of social pressure from different things that leads to depression,....
  8. If you have the time and energy I suggest you journal daily until you don't feel you need to. Write down what's on your mind, empty out your thoughts onto paper, don't try to force it any direction, see what comes out, if then the thought why do I feel like this or think about this pops up then write that down, for me it just wants to flow itself and I just let it out, like emotional and mental constipation, then cry or scream or whatever emotions you feel, experience it. To me it seems like we repress stuff and it just stays rolling around in our mind until we express it which let's it go, I feel lighter mentally, emotionally, and physically it releases body tension. Having a journal book that I like to write in and a pen I like helps me to want to start journaling when I should. I like the typical bound mead composition notebooks and the clear bic cristal original ballpoint capped pens, about the cheapest options and for some reason my favorite, the ballpoint dries faster so it doesn't smear when you're really emptying fast. Digital is too slow and screens put me off anyway. I really enjoy it, it's emotional yoga. Just get a girlfriend then, you'll see it's an irrational fear. Some fears are easier accomplished by doing rather than thinking. Accomplish your fears?, that was a subconscious slip.
  9. This is obviously hard for me to understand. I suppose in reality it is easier for some to physically change their body than to be accepted by society for an untraditional gender role. It seems like a punt to me from the mental health community, but hey. So long as it's not recognized as a cure but a symptom reliever I suppose I'm not so opposed, obviously a last resort and rare.
  10. Yeah. Have you looked into this much? I don't see this as even remotely intelligent, it seems obvious it's coming from social pressure given gender identity is social(traditional gender roles).
  11. What is the point of transitioning?(Rhetorical question) It's mutilating someone to fit into traditional social roles, that's egregious to do to a child.
  12. I would try to process anything you haven't moved on from from the past, I like to use a journal, view it, accept it, and move on with your life, sounds like you're carrying some things from the past. I suggest looking at Maslow's hierarchy of needs to see if you're missing anything below companionship stage, that will hold you back from making desirable connections. And lastly, just have fun, forget the pressure you're putting on making connections, just enjoy the life that's in front of you, it's likely you'll make good connections but it's fine if you don't.
  13. @onacloudynight I suggest not wasting your energy hating this world, I suggest recognizing the beauty in how it is, yes let's work to make it how we want but it's counter productive to "be bogged down" with this hate. Accepting it and appreciating it's beauty is how you attain the will to change it rather than just being sad about it, in actuality seeing the beauty in it is actually the cure you're seeking, imagine everyone recognising how great this experience is, everything is 'solved' right there. It's contagious, try it, appreciate what is, see what happens, and i don't just mean appreciating the 'good' things, it's all beautiful, perfect.
  14. He made one on Ukraine some years ago as well, how the west was involved and their interests.
  15. I'm curious why you think the vaccine causes mutations, the vaccine does reduce transmission despite the misinformation campaign otherwise. From my gathering the vaccine reduces mutation due to less spread.
  16. mRNA technology has been around and tested a long time, it just hasn't been used due to cost. Messenger RNA, or mRNA, was discovered in the early 1960s; research into how mRNA could be delivered into cells was developed in the 1970s.Oct 6, 2021 https://publichealth.jhu.edu › the-lo... 17. @bloomer Do you believe a lot of people died from the virus? Do you think the vaccine helps combat covid? Do you oppose any other vaccines or just mRna? I don't think anyone is suggesting to blindly follow these greedy drug companies, but it's in their best long term interest to not have a huge faulty vaccine, they have the most money to lose by that, they know their business would be done.
  18. If he was as fake loving as those other teachers and still so immersed with his audience as he is, IT'D BE A CULT!
  19. This guy will introduce new people to Leo by them now being curious, and after they watch some more they'll be subscribers. Let them keep making them!
  20. What are the areas where there is the greatest return on investment for government right now? U.S. based question for me but feel free to cite the country you're referring to if it's somewhere else. -I think inner city schools should be smaller with smaller class sizes, and have more free extra curricular activities. To me inner city schools are a problem right now. I think this is far more important at this time than free community college. -I think there need to be more police in general as well. Along with more community centered policing, where the officers are from the community and treat everyone innocent until there's reasonable suspicion, treating people with respect. I also think individuals should be encouraged to be able to defend themselves as well though; self defense and even just simple audible alarms that scare burglars and alert bystanders or neighbors, home surveillance systems are reasonable nowadays.
  21. What areas would be best to start with? Consumer regulations, education, central banking, healthcare, retirement?
  22. I guess my emphasis was more on the "horrible" part of your comment, as faux pas and sadistic as it sounds, war is a beautiful thing in a way, you see the fear and passion and even love if you look for it.
  23. @integral I think your situation is normal, moving in together has a learning period, this thread is full of some ridiculous comments.
