Lol Soul look at all your denial you don't root for no well-being you root to prove your point...which you are still doing. I will refer to what I told you earlier...why are you so serious SOUL? Its like you don't even realize....you are so addicted and attached to the earlier discussion...that you brought it up in another thread. Are you still not noticing this? Instead of worrying about me...why don't you ask yourself why you are doing this? Or are you still going to deflect and keep trying to prove your point? This is honestly hilarious, again you are not the first person to do this....I've triggered many others who have done this same thing...its why its so funny. You are so scared of ego...that you become egotistical. Its so hilarious!!! -
When I got into my car accident I told a police officer something that could have incriminated myself, knowing full well what could happen (basically that I was in an altered state) and nothing came of it. He wrote me two tickets and both tickets were dismissed at court without me having to pay anything. You'd be surprised at how much honesty can be rewarded. I personally would tell the truth, I have found in my direct experience that telling the truth always serves the higher purpose. You can't wish for the world to be more truthful, then turn around and play the same game as them. Nobody is asking for perfection in this also, just do the best you can.

This is the whole point of technology, to increase accessibility, make things easier. It just frightens people who worked hard to carve out a niche. I get the fear, but I agree with you. Soon regular people can create ridiculous levels of art, such as graphic novels, movies, music, etc. all because of technology. We will literally enter a ridiculously grand age of artistic expression never before seen. I mean it will be awe inspiring especially when the language barrier gets dissolved as well.

The same fears arose by people who worked in the mail service when email first was created. Notice people still write letters, and some even still use fax machines...(lol no idea why on fax machines) even though email exists. We have Uber, Lyft, and yet people still take buses. The creation of new technology does not always wipe out existing avenues. People are still collecting baseball cards, and people are still collecting antique cars, and sports cars. As states earlier we already know that A.I. are better at Chess and Go than humans, yet they haven't replaced humans as players. Soon we will have A.I. athletes and referees, I'm sure that won't erase jobs for either. Self Driving cars will replace a lot of non- self driving cars but I doubt it will be total replacement. Instead of dreading make some changes, A.I. is going to infiltrate all industries by the way, so this isn't some isolated thing.

It all depends on how you define it. I once thought like that, but now for some reason the dictionary wants to make a distinction between manipulation and influence. It is what it is.

Love is Desire. This desire is the urge to unify. The number one trap that those in Spirituality fall into is the trap of trying to rid themselves of desire. What they don't realize is that itself is a desire. So they spend their whole life trying to eliminate desire, while the Enlightened Master looks at them waiting for the bubble to eventually burst. Eventually the student will realize that they cannot get rid of desire. Now you may ask why is this the case. Remember...it has been said that Love is metaphysical. I don't know if many are aware of what this means. Desire= Love. Desire is the operant principle. You are only on this forum because of desire. Leo started this entire Actualized.Org because of desire. If you really pay attention to the actions you take you can discover your desire. All of these desires are the building blocks of the ultimate desire to unify. Its why I said, spirituality answers all questions. The desire to be known, experienced, is the desire to unify. Infinity wants to know itself through the creation of a self. Without creation/dream Infinity is just potential, to know itself it has to ACTUALIZE itself into form, a self, to explore all of its being. But to truly do this, it must forget itself and then slowly unify back into itself and realize itself as ONE. Your "life" is just your journey of self-discovery, to look into the mirror of the others, and recognize that the reflection you see in that mirror is YOU. Your desire to accomplish this is there, but you get distracted by other desires, other games that you play with yourself. Why? Well who would want the game to end? When the game ends....there is nobody, no self, to play with....so might as well enjoy playing with yourself/others until the jig is up. So the ultimate paradox of life, is that God/You wants to separate and unify. You want to separate and live a life, and unify and die to self. This paradoxical desire will continue on forever and as a result the greatest love story will be told....experienced and lived through by God alone. Its Bitter Sweet. Its both the most beautiful thing...and the most tragic at the same time.

Umm no SOUL you are bringing a discussion from another thread into a different thread. Notice your resistance. I triggered you and you can't let it go. You are so afraid of your ego that my I love my ego thread triggered you and since then you are now determined to prove something. What are you trying to prove? What are you so attached to me? You aren't the first to do this and you won't be the last and its always funny when it happens. You are so stuck in ego games because you are afraid of your ego. But continue doing it because its funny. I can tell you are the type who doesn't like to let things go. You like things to be a certain way and if they aren't it frustrates you and you must prove to others that you are right and they are wrong. Its so funny. I'll be waiting on you in another thread to follow my comments and bring up other discussions "I'll see you there." -

This is true. -

Yes you get it. That's the thing to get triggered is resistance. If you are getting triggered it means you are still not accepting that trait, behavior, whatever as a part of you. Its fine, its not bad, but it does mean you haven't fully accepted it yet. The moment you do, is when you admit you have the same trait, behavior, etc. as them. Then it will no longer trigger you. For it to work though, you have to notice when you do something similar. For example if someone steals something you may say but hey I don't steal. Yeah you may not, but maybe you have lied or cheated. To steal something you have to deceive, and lies are deception. Or maybe you don't speak up for yourself but hide how you feel about something and then eventually you explode. You exploded because you hid your truthful feelings which means you were being dishonest which means you were being deceptive. If you pay close attention to yourself you will notice these behaviors within you which will stop you from judging and thinking others are different. -
Sovereignty = The authority to self-govern. It means that entity has complete power to determine how it seeks to govern/manage itself. One of the issues I have had throughout my life is I would feel bad for the sufferings of others. I wanted to go around and force people to be happier, to stop thinking negative. One of the greatest things I came across last year was the philosophical adage "Everything is your mirror." Through deep contemplation of this meaning and reading and listening to various individuals explain this it revealed to me some of the different ways I violated the sovereignty of others. I then called my friends and asked them and they admitted I did this but they knew my intentions so they let it go. Its funny, I do not like to bother or disturb people, which is also why I get annoyed and angry when they bother and disturb themselves with negative thoughts or actions that inflict harm on themselves. But the irony in my attempt to stop the suffering of others, I added to their suffering by trying to fix or change their suffering. Its funny how paradoxical life is. Now why was I doing this? Because I didn't want to acknowledge my own negative thoughts, so I hated when others acknowledged their own. I hated the part that others expressed that I refused to expressed. Why? Because I believed that "I wasn't like that." Its so funny the moment you realize that everyone and everything is just showing you your reflection and you will only have issues if you believe that reflection is someone else's. This mirror game with reality is so funny. You think yourself a he or she, and the self as other so it bothers you. The moment you realize you aren't a self, you are all selves then what can bother you? You become lucid in this dream we call life. Its like you are a baby and someone is saying peek a bo and you are no longer surprised. Its like I get it, its the same face I saw before. Its like I get it...every face, every thought, every emotion, everything...IS ME.

I wish people knew what you meant but I'll give a little push. We like things to be a certain way. If things are a certain way and not different...then its YOU. So there is no difference, there is no surprise. If you get exactly what you want the exact way you THINK you want it, then it happens that way. So no surprise, nothing to look forward to. Nothing to do. People are really not getting it....maybe this will help. -
Yes....always ruining our games lol.

Lol I think we just need to renegotiate the terms between the rich, the middle class, and the poor. FBI Negotiator Chris Voss "The most dangerous negotiation is the one you don't know you are in." I'm sure you heard of social contract? Our current society is a negotiation, its just most don't know their in it and accept a raw deal and then complain that nothing can be done. Its very funny.

Exactly you got it!!! I love you dude!! Way to show off your knowledge! -
Yep no matter what system you create (law on the books) how the law is administered (law in action) is reflective of the awareness of the people involved. If I create a system with sufficient means to seek justice but the actors in the system are ridiculously selfish, then what will be administered is the opposite. This is why parenting is so important, there is no job more important when it comes to improving humanity than parenting. I don't care what laws you make, if that generation cannot seek to live up to those ideals that is not how it is going to function.

What does the human body do with cancer cells? Cancer Cells are cells that cannot be saved, so they are executed. Some things cannot be saved, its the nature of the game

I have a criminal justice degree this is where we part ways Leo. Its ridiculously corrupt. In fact there is too much evidence of its corruption. Its slowly being worked on but its wayyyyyyyyyyyy too corrupt. They have done so much research on how crimes are prosecuted, prosecutorial misconduct which is rampant, and other issues dealing with policing. You really don't want to know how bad it is. We shouldn't even call it criminal justice lol. https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/handful-unlawful-behaviors-led-fraud-and-bribery-account-nearly-all-public Don't get me started on how race, gender, and the good ole boys system plays a role, also media coverage heavily influences the result as well. Its not as much about the facts, as it is about people's feelings and perceptions. You can't even divorce the courts from politics. They are so intertwined and our politics are corrupt so it bleeds into the courts as well.

I don't watch anime much anymore (Been months since I have watched one) but a couple of years ago I found an anime that had an interesting take on the body. The most profound episode was when they dealt with Cancer. The name of the anime is Cells at Work and this Youtube Video does a cool job of summarizing the episode. Check the series out if your interested.

All doubt is fear. If everything is you, then what is there to fear? Doubt is the belief that something is separate so it is afraid to act. Doubt is the opposite of trust. If you trust then you don't doubt. Do you doubt your legs will work? Do you doubt your eyes will blink? If you suddenly your legs stopped working, then you would doubt whether they would ever work again. Why? Because now you DON'T trust your legs. They are not obeying you, so now they feel separate, alien. Like a parent whose kids don't listen to him, they don't feel like his kids anymore. Hell your legs not working could be recontextualized as a betrayal if you are clever enough. Doubt= fear. If all is well there is no doubt. -
I have a very strong stomach I can pretty much eat anything lol. Remember how I said I don't drink alcohol so I'm sure if I ever decide to drink alcohol it would feel like I ingested a poison. It wasn't an ego backlash it just felt like I let an alien substance into my body. I wasn't scared because I knew people had consumed mushrooms. My question is just does the "flesh" have toxins or not. If not I am not making no damn tea lol. As long as its healthy I don't need to do all that stuff everyone said because my body doesn't react aversely to it. It just felt weird as it flowed in my bloodstream is all.

Depends on how you look at it, everything is a tool. Remember what I mentioned? Baptism was used to do it, the Sun Dance etc. So technically its fair game, it just it doesn't fit your preference. It doesn't fit my preference either which is why I said I'm not advocating it, but just because I don't prefer it doesn't mean its not fair game. Also he said he didn't do it so that's cool, but Spirituality is all about embracing everything, and eliminating all fears and boundaries. So when that is understood...whatever tool you use is up to you. I wouldn't do it, but hey if it gets the job done for some people that's their call. My advice would be to use means that don't involve high risk of bodily harm. -
I had this thought years ago and it is based on how you look at it. Manipulation= control. Over years and years of this word being used the definition in relation to social situations has changed to mean something deceptive or dishonest. Influence which is a form of control has been used as the positive form of control. Here is what Merriam-Webster defines manipulation. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/manipulate So currently its basically the dark form of control and influence is the light form of control. I would say this, if you act in a way that is an authentic expression of yourself and is not self-serving and people like how you express yourself then that would be influence. But if you do something for the purposes of getting something from others whether its praise, attention, money, etc. then its manipulation. With this in mind we are all guilty of manipulation and even the most honest of us still probably manipulate in small subtle ways we are not even aware of. For example you may give a fake smile when someone greets you as a social pleasantry. In one vain you could say, well where is the harm? The harm is it isn't an authentic expression, you are doing it to be considered "civil." A lot of our social subtleties are small forms of manipulation. Alan Watts is famous for saying he only trusts people who own their rascals or basically own the dark parts of them. We should aim to act in the way Immanuel Kant says which is make people an end not a means to an end. So if you do something to make someone else feel better and it wasn't an authentic expression, I think its okay. Sometimes the authentic expression you have may cause uproar or disturbance. You have to balance authenticity and harm. The truth is the most dangerous thing in the world, even more so than a nuclear bomb, it is a sword, so you have to be careful how you wield it. That doesn't mean going around and being a people pleaser either. Each situation...calls for a different action. The greatest truth...is there is not ONE answer, there is only the answer that fits the situation.

You don't sound crazy, that breathing you are experiencing is not breath. Its life. Some like to refer to it as energy, universal energy. When your awareness starts to raise a little you start to feel more connected, and your ability to feel expands. It feel like wind or some type of force (lol Star Wars) is moving through you. Some call it Chi. or Ki. -

How in the world does a man that looks as young as you in his fifties? Is this a miracle? LOL.
