  1. Imagine the marriage between them.
  2. I think it teaches you to look more analytically at the process of making decisions, but at the end of the day I think it generalizes situations way to much, and such clear cut dillemas rarely happen in real life.
  3. Relationships are just contracts to restrict one's freedom in some extent to gain the feeling of security and companionship. Breaking any rule of the contract is gonna hurt the other person. So much better to communicate about your needs and if other side is not able to accept the level of freedom you need then you break up. Personally my girl can't cheat on me, because I do not restrict any of her freedom because I love her unconditionally.
  4. Do you think he is happier than you because of better clothes or car? I would guess no. I would save as much as you feel comfortable with so that you can YOLO in your future for the things you trully care about. You will be able to attend 1 month vipassana reatreat while your friend probably will need constant dopamine hits from buying stuff and will be forced to work 9 to 5 for most of his life. Of course this is huge generalisation but I too am from modest family from Poland and natural ability to save money is the best thing I got from my parents.
  5. I think it goes to show how open-minded and serious Leo is when it comes to exploring Mind with substances.
  6. Most important thing I learned from Leo that other teachers do not radiate that much is to embrace my inner Sage, and that eventually all Authority and Sovereignty has to be recollected to fully "actualize" even though it may seem arrogant to an ego-mind.
  7. I think that you guys @Carl-Richard and @Thought Art actually agree and there is just difference in word usage. Carl would say that there is only consciousness, and what happens within that one consciousness is all there is. @Thought Art (and myself too) would argue that when we can purify the Self and The Mind so much that our identity becomes just pure Consciousness. Consciousness without any perceptions that happen within it like our ego, our human lower-case mind. So then with this new pure Identity I=Consciousness we can say that I/Mind is all that there is. But Carl prefers to avoid using I or My Mind to not confuse the beginners that there is some ego identity left in True Solipsism.
  8. Do you have psychedelic experiences? For me it is psychedelics which really showed what true insight and creativity is like and what my mind is capable of, so that even when not tripping I am much more confident in my own insighting and therefore the quality is better.
  9. I don't think so. Many spiritual priests are stuck on blue. Many spiritual hippies are stuck on green.
  10. Dude, you are not the person you were yesterday, let alone some few years ago. You are not the guy you see in your memories. You are now, free.
  11. How did you get the funds? Inheritance? If you don't mind me asking.
  12. I feel you. I just try to save as much as possible in corporate world while trying to maintain non-attachment and non-serious approach. After having enough saving to be able to cover for food and shelter lets say for 10 years I will quit and live a spontaneous happy life. If I would want to travel, then I would work at some gig job just enough to save for the trip. I think intentional work for some specific purpose is less taxing than a "career". After 10 years we will see what happens. If I die after those 10 years, I will be satisfied for having lived a full life, but I doubt it would get that bad. When you have no attachment good, creative shit happens. Hopefully through those 10 years I will make enough friends to host me to my old days. But that works for me because my materialistic needs are really low. Also when you don't have kids it is not that difficult to survive. You could work 6 months to save money, and then live 6 months freely and so on.
  13. Do what you want. 100% agree and that can be your life purpose and there is a lot of meaning behind meaninglesness of consciousness.
  14. Isn't chewing gum an easy solution?
  15. 1. Remember that most of "adults" are just insecure children. Cute and naive. Their envy and controlling are just like some misbehaving children at kindergarten. Try to hold that perspective of them while they hate you. Remember that its just sweet lack of awareness. Try to love them. They od not know anything about reality and yet everyone expects them to behave like adults because they are adults. So they have to take on that ugly persona. See their pain. 2. Many of those horrid behaviours that they display like controll, is just really twisted love. Their parents controlled them, and told them that this is love. So they just copy it. Because they lack awareness they just have to copy it and think that this is the way. This is how I make sure my kid has a good life, I control him, thats what my parents did to me. See the tragedy of it, and the twisted love. 3. With point 1 and 2 in mind, just fuck it. You do not owe them anything. If they are toxic you are free to cut any ties to them. Love them and fuck them. Whatever Merry Christamas brother. I experience a lot of the same stuff.
  16. I thinks that's great. I think in 200 years we will laugh at the idea of current notions of man and woman. And even tough I think it is great that things like that happen where kids can just grow up getting to know themselves without anyone imposing their identity I think many of those kids will experience diffculties later in life. But that is natural process of change. It will be painful for the first ones. And still maybe the difficulties will actually be smaller than current consequences of crude concepts such as "you are a boy, boys don't cry", "you are a girl, girls don't play with cards" bullshit.
  17. Life absolutely should be an adventure. But also that adventure can be of peaceful, family, normal theme. People often live monotonous lifes because their lack of wisdom created difficult circumstances for them to do otherwise. Most of people believed that having significant other is the answer because we are programmed to believe so through our cultrure, movies, books. And then when they find a good partner we are conditioned by society, family and our genetics to have a kid. And when you have kid, you have to work to provide for him. So you stay in your bullshit job, take debt for a new house and live a boring life for the rest of it.
  18. If you have a dream at night and become lucid would you react with the same amount of apathy? So what there are thousands of others in your dream, it is your dream, you can do what you want. That simple fact is full of meaning. If you join the greatest MMORPG game ever, do you start to moan about the fact that you are just one of many players and that the server will be shut down some time and it will not matter? NO!. You just have fun and create great experiences in the game. Welcome to the greatest Dream/Game ever.
  19. Yes totally. We should train ourselves to be triggerless.
  20. I am not sure if I understand the question but yes - people's opinion about you are irrelevant in the sense that you have to have the sovereignty of your own state of mind.
  21. Can you give me some useful links to read about benefits of those? Never heard of that before. How did you stumble upon that?
  22. I think it is possible we have it from the same supplier I have the same contents of sample box. For me everyone of them works. If I take half in the morning I can have problem falling asleep at 11pm. I would just watch your blood pressure and heart rhythm. Maybe don't drink any coffee on top of that. I had amazing trip with lsd+fasting+modafinil, but I felt that my heart was having a hard time.
