  1. Have you ever considered there could be a link between the two? lol Watching porn or abusing the dopaminergic system is essentially causing CNS stress, do it enough and you'll end up in all types of problems. Leo seems as though he is pro-porn and masturbation, but notice he has constant chronic unexplainable health problems. The issue is truth; some people don't want to confront the truth that their favorite past time and pleasure is slowly killing them, ignorance is an option
  2. @Vision out of interest what is your relationship to dopaminergic activities like porn/masturbation/gaming etc etc?
  3. I get all that, honestly I do, I've done psychedelic profusely for over 15 years, but this still doesn't address my original question. Quite clearly there is a body that is being imagined that at some point will cease to exist, and something else will be imagined, I don't understand why your being so obtuse on this forum, you speak about these topics in your videos quite clearly, but for some reason aren't willing to engage in the discourse here? In your videos you insinuate infinite re-incarnating machine. etc etc. If you would rather abstain from answering no problem, no need for the convoluted process
  4. Then with the greatest respect you're ignorant and should pass over the topic with silence. Anything that acts on dopaminergic or serotonergic system can become addictive. My dad was a heroin addict (died from an overdose), and my mum was an alcoholic, and I was addicted to sex (500+ partners) and pornography and had withdrawals that lasted 3 years (post acute withdrawal), so I would say Im qualified to speak on this topic Ive been mostly celibate and nofap for 3 years, so I've been on all sides of the spectrum - I speak from direct experience.
  5. Nope, you imagine you gave me a precise answer.... <--------- do you see the nonsensical way of communicating? It has no value or sense, you simply aren't meeting me at the level Im communicating. You make a ton of assumptions, how do you know I do or don't want to hear it -- how could you possibly know my wants or not wants? Such a weird, conversational style
  6. No I get that everything is just imagination there's only mind, there's nothing complicated there. But to even talk to each other we have to make some sort of relative concessions... do you understand what I'm saying? To even refer to each other or write or talk at all, is to make some sort of relative concession, so to pull to the absolute perspective is nonsensical Let me turn it around to try to help you understand; you could respond to 'you are imagining it' to absolutely everything, is there a response where this couldn't be used? But can you see how nonsensical and pointless this discourse would be? I could just make an auto respond to every post on this forum 'You are imaging this forum' --- lol it's weird You also make a ton of assumptions about me, and I've seen this with others. What is the purpose of such abrasive, conceited discourse? What are you trying to achieve with this?
  7. I don't follow, as if you are saying what I think you are saying, there is no such thing as physicality either, your just changing contexts mid sentence? Sure from the absolute perspective of infinity nothing exists, but we can't even speak about it, so what use of jumping to that context during discourse? Im lost
  8. What is your position of what happens after physical death, is it just infinite re-incarnation? Its not clear from your videos
  9. Nothing you said makes sense, you are making the naturalistic fallacy, and this is the reason for your erroneous thinking. There are tons of natural survival mechanisms and pleasures that have no care about long term peace and happiness. And there is tons of evidence of downregulation of dopamine for novelty - what research have you done in this area? You are making such strong statements and claims about something you are ignorant about, this is dangerous The fact that 60 year olds still have tons of novel sex - supports the downregulation, not opposes it... literally called the Coolidge effect. There are fundamental laws in regards to novelty that transcend even sex. The first time you do anything is the most intense, as its the most novel, as you watch the same film, eat the same food, have the same type of sex, your body releases less and less reward, as it seeks novelty
  10. Thats simply not true, I don't mean to be rude, but your advice is dangerous, you could change masturbation with cocaine, you would just be enabling someone to engage in unhealthy habits. If you watch pornography regularly or have novel sexual experience regularly, you will experience a downregulation of your dopaminergic system, a lower baseline contentment and fulfillment, a higher level of stress, and basically a desensitization to live, your current experience. People need to deal with the facts and truth of reality... hate to be the bearer of bad news
  11. Yes, there is no doubt about it, but you don't need to force it, it's a journey
  12. All pursuing of sense pleasure is going to be detrimental to medium and long term happiness, it's well documented in pretty much every spiritual tradition, and now modern neurobiology is confirming what the east has been telling you for many years; see tonic and phasic levels of dopamine and how they are inversely related. The more peak experiences you have (novelty) the lower your baseline. Anyone saying the opposite is simply ignorant and dumb Could you possible masturbate infrequently, with no external stimulus (no porn or fantasy), and not have too much negative side effects? perhaps, but overall if maximizing happiness and reaching peak states of consciousness is any goal of yours, then masturbation will naturally disappear... it's pointless
  13. Lol you know way more about Leos personal life than I, it isn't obvious to me if he's into digital art or not. Being a youtuber doesn't preclude having other skills, hobbies and interests
  14. How is it obvious?
  15. Do you design and make the thumbnails yourself btw? Theyre really nice
  16. That isn't true, God-realization has no ought on your behaviors in this dream in either direction (see is ought hulme). Realizing your God doesn't circumvent the need to not being a drug addict, nor does it state you should be a drug addict, it says absolutely nothing about what you should or shouldn't do. So to say once you realize your God you will not care about suffering or learning or developing or burning your hand, simply isn't true. As soon as you add the context I want to live a good live, or suffer less, or become God-like (embodiment), then for sure you will want to change your habits, it is a prerequisite
  17. As per title, what is Leo's stance on God re-incarnation, his videos aren't explicit around this to my knowledge, in one of this videos he insinuates its like a movie reel and God is incarnating into the character of an infinite number of films and variations, but later insinuates more of a one life time, this is it, there is only one incarnation that is imagining all else, and after this or during this incarnation it will collapse into a singularity of infinite love forever. Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding, anyone know? [Not interested in other peoples personal speculative views for now, thank you]
  18. Can you clarify this last part, as this is what you have insinuated in the past, that each life is a frame on a movie real that god will linearly re-incarnate through
  19. This response has left me completely stumped, how does this address anything I wrote? Im trying to get clarification on the things you have public espoused... how is this response warranted?
  20. @Leo Gura could you be so kind as state your current position in full or correct the previous video, as Im super confused. Do you believe God has divided itself into multiple perspectives, that once my current body and ego dies, I could re-incarnate as you, as in some linear sequential unfolding, etc etc, I'm kinda lost trying to follow your position, or are you planning to release update work soon?
  21. So does that mean this previous videos should be dismissed? As you claim that God is an infinitely re-incarnating sentient being, probing itself forever, lifetime after lifetime. You state that all humans and animals are different perspectives God is gong to re-incarnate into I understand that essential there is only one singular point that is imagine a single moment, but this moment essentially changes an infinite number of times, to encapsulate what we call an infinite number of experiences, comprising an infinite number of 'beings' or 'egos' or 'probes' -- is this what your saying Have you got a final position on this or are you still trying to figure all this out ?
  22. @Leo Gura can you confirm this? Also things like your video: What Is The Point Of Life? - An Advanced, Life-Changing Explanation - do you still stick by them as accurate, as there seems to be some nuanced differences between this and your latest work, it's kinda confusing or not clear
