  1. Hi guys, I've got the chance to go and sit with aya on the 6th august, it's with the huni kuin tribe pretty close to my home so not an opportunity that comes up often.. my friends have arranged a night out for my birthday 8 days before so obviously I couldn't drink if I was going to ceremony but wondering if I could take a small dose (1/1.5 of mushrooms?) I've taken mushrooms after ceremonies a few times and feel they helped unpack and integrate the experience but not sure about a week before and can't find much on the internet. Thanks for any input?
  2. Hi everyone, just wanted to share my ayahuasca experience so far before I sit in another ceremony next month. Would love some feedback and discussion if you manage to stick it out until the end lol. I first worked with mama aya for 2 nights in february this year. I was stuck in a complete rut at the time and didn't really prepare for my ceremonies in the way that I should have, especially in regards to marijuana which I had been abusing heavily for 15 years. I did try to stop before ceremony but my addiction was too strong, As a result of this my visions were basically non existent but I did have a strong connection to the spirit of aya and could hear her clearly. The first night I took the medicine, I threw it up instantly, lay down and fell asleep. I woke twice more and took a cup each time, again vomited instantly and fell back asleep. When I woke up in the morning I felt like I had a surgery on my womb and had a talk about this with my facilitator. That morning we went for a walk in nature and had a wild swim in a waterfall. When we came out of the water I had more 'healing' feelings in my womb area but this tapered off as the day went on. Second night of the ceremony, again as soon as I took the medicine I vomited it back up. I lay down on my mat but I don't fall asleep. This time ayahuasca speaks to me and tells me it is the cannabis that is kicking her out of my body, cannabis is a plant teacher too but I have been abusing her and not using her with the intention I should have. She tells me how I need to make the same effort for myself as I do for others and take the time to prepare myself and come back to her in 3 months. I had a very strange vision of giving birth to the world but it was rotting and dying inside of me.I became very aware of the room around me and could tell one of the girls was also having a 'labour' experience which fascinated me as I had read about other stories of having a shared journey. On speaking to the girl the next day, she was giving birth to herself. Since leaving the experience, my cravings for cannabis have stopped all together. I went from smoking morning till night every single day to smoking 3 joints in the last 40 something days and only in a ceremonial setting to improve my meditation. I also went to get checked over at my doctor 2 weeks ago because I couldn't stop thinking about the 'surgery' or the weird birth vision and they referred me to hospital for suspected cervical cancer, while waiting on results of these tests they sent me for a scan that's found a large cyst on my ovary too so I've a 3 month wait to see what they're going to do about that. I have had so many synchronicities happen since I came home and a few of them have been to do with crows who I'm starting to think are my spirit animal as they always appear when I'm doing spiritual work . This morning I woke up to a message inviting me to sit with aya again, exactly 3 months after my last sitting! I asked for a sign if I should do this and then walked outside to 3 crows in my garden lol. I would love to hear from anyone who noticed lots of synchronisation after their ceremonies? Or just anyone who wants to chat about their experiences.??
