You are trying to control what you can't. Of course, you will feel miserable playing horrible perspectives of the world on your head. You can't save the world. Adopt a stoic mindset, influence your environment and work hard on meaningful projects.

@bambi He is one of the few humans that can teach people in a systematic way to reach enlightenment. It's like the quote: "If you can't program it, you haven't understood it". Imagine that you are a human capable to describe the smell of a rose to a robot. He's on that level.

Ralston is a genius. I've had 2 enlightenment "experiences" doing contemplation while reading the book of not knowing. If you are a programmer, Ralston is the equivalent of a master wizard writing code with machine code/assembly at extreme levels of mastery.
