  1. Can’t we just have some positive things about Islam so I don’t start hating my own culture
  2. Doin this work is a privilege in many ways. People are barely surviving so they can feed themselves and their families and if they have trauma it is worse. Specially in the Middle East for example
  3. Interesting story.
  4. Not all people in Syria and Iran are “brown” but I know what you mean.
  5. We didn’t get “all the help from the US” in Syria until one year ago. For 14 years the US abandoned us. If they wanted they could have taken Assad out from day one so that we don’t go through a 14 year war.
  6. Pranayama is more associated with yoga but it can put you in a meditative state afterwards
  7. Do you do locks ( bandha)?
  8. I was wondering if anybody here combines kryia yoga with a classic mediation technique like Vipassana? Is there synergy in doing both?
  9. When did you discover Vipassana? I found it to be the most effective meditation technique for me.
  10. What was 4chan actually like and how was it different from Reddit? I’ve only heard bad things about 4chan lol
  11. The politics sub forum being biased towards American news only
  12. Or Sign up for a Vipassana course near you so you can eat and sleep for free while you mediate and figure out your next move.
  13. Just curious but how old are you?
  14. Very interesting. Thank you
  15. Using Instagram stories to post about your latest vacation and shit.
  16. God awakening will not be lost on you even on the toilet.
  17. I just completed the inner engineering course by sadghuru and it was really nice it was nothing new for me but it was beautiful getting initiated. the hardest part is sticking with the practise for the next 6 months. The meat of the course is the kryia taught. You can still use the books to learn kryia yoga on your own but it felt more potent having sadghuru explain it. I want to keep with this kryia practise for Atleast 6 months.
  18. I have a 10 day Vipassana course coming up. Will try Kasina afterwards. Vipassana is great but it’s too dry sometimes.
  19. Have you ever done Vipassana or kriya yoga? I wonder how they compare to Kasina practise.
