Everything seems to serve a higher purpose. you don’t take yourself that seriously anymore. You still work hard but realize you have to let go of yourself as much as possible. you love life more because you realize who you truly are.

To Damascus, but that won’t happen until 2028 when I’m done with my studies. for now it is temporary but I do want to get old over there. Maybe when I’m like 50 I’ll move back to Syria permanently.

The new Syrian president for the transitional period has been declared today. I’m hopeful for my country. For a new Syria. I feel like things will go full circle when I go back to Syria in a few years after my studies are over..

Personally, on 5meo I felt like my sense of identity was expanding so much and since I’m not used to that expanded sense of self, it tends to become uncomfortable if you don’t completely let go.
