Assuming it has been sufficiently tested as any other vaccine or medicine is or should be and there are no unwanted side effects or issues with it, then i dont really see the problem. Given this criteria, the reasons why are obvious ie reduce deaths and illness, reduce spread so that normal life can resume, reduce pressure on healthcare systems and workers etc. For me the only argument that can be made against it is if the vaccine itself is dangerous

Love them, I'm not saying it flippantly, but imagine they were kids who had a confused view. The best thing you can do is meet them at their level, try understand them and love them. Most of the times debates and arguing just doesn't work. If you look at say jesus, according to the stories anyway, he was just trying to spread love and bevan example of it, he wasn't debating anyone, all the politicians over the years have never had as much impact as those that just want to spread genuine love. A great example I've seen is of Gary Vaynerchuk in a recent insta post of his, basically he voted for Biden but of course he has many followers that vote for trump. He replied to each comment on his post and I think how he dealt with it is a great example of how to deal with the kind of people you're talking about - https://www.instagram.com/p/CHTqmO2Mdes/?igshid=n14qmlnw43sn I truly believe the more people react like this the less conflict you'll probably see. I'm not saying Gary vee is perfect either but I just like the way he dealt with this

The guy from Borat 2, Rudy something, is making a speech about republicans not being allowed to witness the counting. Loads of excuses, no signs of conceding

twitter are also saying if he loses his presidency hes no longer a special person of interest which means if he keeps putting up false tweets he will lose his account.

BBC have called it here as well

There is demonisation of green, but i also think its fair to say that the left could have been more inclusive, as in less superiority and just picked better potential leaders. For a long time its felt like politicians are not real people and are 'acting' to stay in power, i think you get that vibe from Hilary for example, so in many ways it did need a shake up, i wouldve rather Bernie shook things up instead of Trump but what you gonna do. So if there is one good thing about Trumps rise and inevitable fall, is that hes made it so that people expect more from the politicians in terms of being real people.

Im from the UK and Johnson is probably only slightly better than Trump, wish we were ready for a prime minister like yours though
-
My bad we've had a troll on here whos had multiple accounts and be banned loads of times who just constantly pushes a pro-Trump narrative. We're not really tribal you can say what you want and give different perspectives unless you support Trump (joke, kind of)

you must get bored, how many accounts have you burned through

Have you given up on there being any evidence for this yet? You were like a kid waiting for santa clause before

Interesting vid on why the electoral voting system is anti-democratic -

I got a ton of pms from him, hes been on here for a while, youd think itd get boring at some point lol hilarious

We have the same in the UK, they have what they call 'party political broadcasts' at set times, usually around 7 or 8pm on normal TV. Each party gets the same amount of time and they cant advertise on TV or radio. I think they maybe allowed billboards but im not sure, i havent seen them recently anyway. I might go as far as to say there is no advertising outside of the assigned ones. Where they do go crazy is the tabloid newspapers (The Sun, The Mirror etc) each one has an obviously biased political stance, Murdoch owned a couple of them in fact. Even these have a massive effect on voters so i cant imagine the effect it has in America. The other thing is the amount of time campaigns last for, in the US i think its a year or something in the UK its basically a month or 2

True, unfortunately. One thing though is that with higher education there seems to be slightly more critical thinking, so i think thats really something to focus on for America. There should be real authentic options, like you can have center left, center right but also progressive left and maybe libertarian or something. An interesting quirk with this election is that Jo Jorgenson who is libertarian, actually got a few votes that probably wouldve gone to Trump in very tight states. If they werent involved Trump wouldve had a much better chance of winning. But also take the money out of it, give each party a set amount that they can use for the election and equal advertising on TV

Politics needs to just be really boring for a while. A lot of the problem is that propaganda is so easy to distribute now online, i think it will take a while for people to really adjust to it and use it in a responsible way. This is a long process but i think Trump dragged things down even further, hopefully some of that can be repaired and theres hope on the horizon with progressives being a big part of the younger vote
-
Technically its partly because of the election system in this case but this type of thing can be done even with a straight forward voting system. Using populist, scape goating rhetoric you can really make anything happen, look at Brexit for example
-
This is actually hilarious hes bitching about votes being counted, their not 'finding' votes theyre counting them. Hes also moaning about the media reporting while at the same time his supporters see him as a free speech fighter, this is just comical now, just take the L and go back to your tower

Remember when America wasnt really great but was a bit better than now -
-
Yeah i think its the most blatant anti-democratic thing ive seen in a 'developed nation'. Even in under developed, corupt countries they would at least make up something better than just 'stop counting'. But Trump is smart in that he sowed the seeds for this, people dont realise how far theyve moved from being democratic and reasonably fair to outright attempting to cheat with facist and dictatorship undertones. Its actually scary because we're seeing how these regimes can actually start. I always used to think 'how could the people ever let facist dictators in?' This is how
-
Thats actually a good point, but if i know Trump like i think i do he probably wanted to stop counting when he was winning

Heres some relevant numbers from the Guardian, PA and Georgia look possible for Biden, NV looks like it can go either way - State Votes left to count (est.)% Votes left Current margin Current leader Georgia 1% 50,000 +9,525 Trump North Carolina 6% 348,000 +76,701 Trump Pennsylvania 11% 802,000 +90,144 Trump Nevada 24% 386,000 +11,438 Biden Alaska 50% 191,000 +54,610 Trump

Cmon bro, the simplest answers usually the right one. Hes a bad loser and is pulling anything he can out to discredit the result
-
Its the amount of money involved in running means it blocks out any other candidates from a credible bid unless they have billionaire backers. Thats why Sanders had to go the democrat route when really he should be in a completely different party.

It is an accusation, i cant see any crime hes explicitly talking about, if he had any inclination of a crime he would have said what it was 100%
