  1. I thought about it for a minute and what came to my head : when men need to be masculine to survive they need to reject femininity within themselves and whatever you reject inside you reject outside
  2. Daydreaming can be extremely powerful visualization that can change your body chemistry , dissolve negative identification patterns etc.
  3. Both have their place. but . watch out if it becomes a belief that you NEED to “accept” or an attachment to this habit of trying to “trigger “ (happened to me a little while ). Because then that can become like this limiting belief that acts as a mental filter
  4. The fact you’re questioning it is enough to suggest it’s not necessary imo or I just have a bias because I myself pretty much never watch movies, read fiction etc . Ofc something can be learnt from everything , value can be gained from everything (depends on the type of mind you have to be able to extract value) but there are more ~direct ~ ways. You said writing/speech. Id say it’s valuable if you want to write/speak in a way that fits that genre , otherwise other type of text can better. There’s so much info in the world I’d try to be as specific and direct as possible in your search. Also giving a lot of space for your own mind to come up with things itself.
  5. @BojackHorseman yea i don’t see screens as bad so I agree there about demonization. It’s more how you use them, what function it serves for you i also have these visions about a more natural life so I can relate there too. It’s wired in us and good to include some of it..could even be simplifying your current life yea it can be hard to make yourself independent of the constant stimulation. The way I see it is that when we constantly consume info - although it has its value and place, once again depends on how you use it - it’s like something else is thinking for us, filling our minds up and it leaves less space for our own brain activity to flourish. So using it less forces your own brain to get accustomed to less stimulation and it can create stimuli for itself (thinking can be very stimulating). But ofc in the beginning it can feel agitating. But if you try to get rid of some stimuli I believe it’s best to replace it with something that genuinely gives you fulfillment I’d say…
  6. Yea it continues like that until awakening ..then it’s rest after awakening there’s remnants left of these layers but it takes care of itself pretty much and burns of quickly naturally it’s very counter intuitive how it works also. So the very idea you’re deceiving yourself might be the next thing to die. Then some next thing…then some next thing. doesn’t have to be that way but was from my experience . Like a dying off of layers. I relate strongly to your description you’re noticing a pattern in you. sometimes you don’t have to make effort as these limiting beliefs /deceptions can break apart by themselves. But it’s understandable it doesn’t feel good. Isn’t really supposed to feel good because it’s unstable by nature, until awakening.
  7. If you could kiss a girl after 20 min I don’t see how sex on second date seems so crazy for you
  8. Yea since she was your ex I’m not surprised
  9. For some people fantasy doesn’t necessarily have to translate to reality so maybe she never did that
  10. That was a delightful response I’m glad you’re in a better place now
  11. I don’t mind either but I see it as lack of communication usually if you have to write about someone online perhaps in a lot of cases at least
  12. Oh thanks ?
  13. Imagine being a woman and some man you’re seeing is writing about you like this on a public online forum i can’t ? ??
  14. Weren’t you the sexual transmutation expert..lol wouldn’t that make you less desperate sexually as you’d be content containing that energy inside
  15. Mm I see. Having strong enough desire is a major thing I believe
  16. Yea. The irony of it all is that I believe the best thing we can do for the world is to focus on ourselves. average person does average things can make average impact Great person does great things can make great impact
  17. So yea you’re just reacting to thoughts in your head , what can change is how you relate to those thoughts. I’ve been like this myself in my past, one time I read about this condition that caused the most painful headaches ever so much some people kill themselves and I felt sick to my stomach for like 2 weeks straight, had trouble sleeping because of it. so this is very vague but like if you ground yourself deeper in your body not so much in mental reality then you can’t possibly be disturbed by such thoughts because they’re just hollow images passing by. I bet you have a strong sense of time, that’s also connected to this , when you are living from a dense mind not deep in the body then sense of time can be strong. Can be dissolved tho little by little. When you have those thoughts see if there is like a counter so bringing your attention more to your body for example .. idk . Or if you’re more outwardly then maybe connecting more to your environment and other people to ground yourself . Idk
  18. Mm I see. Wish you best of luck
  19. Yea a bit, but its ok as long as youre fine doesnt matter what someone else thinks mm thats great you have visions for yourself. I have no clue about video editing id say if you know yourself enough to know you cant finish projects maybe start there ..
