  1. Those are all good examples. Maybe what I wrote isn’t such a big factor but still to some degree maybe it could apply. In the west tho isn’t motherhood becoming less and less central , I was thinking about that , hence why I wrote specifically referring to the west because it’s extra hypersexualized here with looks and sex appeal in the focus. Some Other cultures have motherhood and marriage as more central . Not denying it’s existence here but it’s not as central in mainstream society anymore
  2. I’m not disagreeing with you, I agree with it mostly , what you just wrote doesn’t really go against what I wrote. All I said is that in this hypersexualized society in the west, looks in a woman is the trait that is valued the most and pedestalized the most in comparison to the rest, by society and then since women are humans will internalize this so the average young woman is obsesssd with her appearance. In contrast with men it’s more spread out with different traits being valued. So my spontaneous thought was maybe this is one reason as to why we don’t hear as much “how to be real woman/high value woman” because that language isn’t as much needed as the focus is mainly on one trait: looks. yes I know of Anna Bey for example. All of what you wrote is good. But I can say there’s wayyyyyy more women watching a makeup tutorial that what you mentioned
  3. You have a point there i didn’t think about that, maybe subconsciously . It makes more sense than what I wrote
  4. No I havent Maybe it seems so in comparison yes but still overall society is male dominated globally
  5. What kind of goals? I bet many women are unsatisfied in relationships maybe they have easier time to get into one but doesn’t mean they are satisfied
  6. @Schizophonia I don’t really understand what you mean to be honest. I understood the muscle part only pretty much
  7. I don’t think that view is as common as you think
  8. It seems I’m this contracted “I’m here” sense. what do you mean by reaction, it does ring a bell
  9. Ok. I’ve been trying to pin point what the self is but I can’t seem to do it
  10. @VeganAwake may I ask how it happened to “you” ? The seeing through ?
  11. Does the “seeing-through “ just happen spontaneously if it does, ? because it seems impossible to try to make it happen through effort if there is already nobody but it seems like someone is here
  12. I’m not enlightened, although I’ve had maybe what could be called awakening, but some things just make sense or seem true intuitively. Like there being no actual separation. The self being illusion somehow. That everything is appearing simultaneously, everything being possible , that it’s all the same substance, that nothing is the same as everything, reality being infinite. As if it’s possible to know this intuitively without even having had a glimpse of non duality . But a lot of people seem stuck in for example science paradigm. So this is not intuitive for them. They really can believe reality is limited. I don’t see how it would be. Would you agree one can intuit these things somehow?
  13. It’s crazy how this can be so clear intuitively somehow yet I can’t see through the illusion of self, if it even is an illusion .
  14. @Clarence I personally believe in some kind of reincarnation . Spirituality is so broad it is both the abstract absolute stuff and the more tangible concrete stuff in new age so ofc there’s bullshit in new age and with everything there is risk of getting stuck in paradigm but i think its good to explore different stuff , spirituality doesn’t have to only be the non dual stuff
  15. I do feel like I’m separate but still intuit the non duality . Actually becoming directly “conscious” of it is another thing I haven’t been able to
  16. That’s interesting to wonder who shared the first non dual message. And if people spontaneously awoke back in the days too
