  1. Maybe you saw something they themselves haven’t recognized yet
  2. Exactly. My telepathy happened after my “awakening” for example
  3. that's right. yea its not so common info, which I like i don't know either. I don't even know if it would be considered paranormal ability. Another example could be if someone by "gut feeling" recognizes a dangerous person or situation (where it's not so obvious by behavior etc). Would that be called supernatural ability? or maybe there are complex ways we function, like mirror neurons (if that's what its called) etc that could explain it. Science doesn't know it all yet. But what I sensed when looking into that guys eyes was something ive never sensed in another encounter i didnt take it as condescending. I don't know maybe there are more or less deep awakenings, different kinds, maybe or maybe it's more simple who knows. thanks ill check it out! I think it's best to stay open-minded to the possibilities, life is more exciting that way, there's so much we don't know and that science too doesn't know. Better to be open than to close oneself thinking one has reached the end. Spirituality is so broad
  4. I think I see what you mean. But wouldn’t awareness of the non dual nature of everything be the same as the opening to the absolute because if you’re not open in the way you describe, non duality can only be understood conceptually so it’s just an idea. You need the opening to actually “see” non duality. Right now for example, I can get non duality conceptually but that’s it I’m not aware of it beyond concepts because my being is “closed” I’m here as a separate sense of self
  5. How is what you’re describing “beyond non dual”? Non duality just means not two right so wouldn’t that be what you’re describing
  6. Some non dual speakers say that this is what ~everyone~ is longing for. So all selves actually seek the end of themselves although it doesn’t seem like it
  7. I’d agree. Dropping the self illusion nothing could be more radical. Do you mean that the self illusion veils reality and makes it more “dull” and covers over the pure aliveness and intensity?
  8. Yup. Sometimes I think, what if there was no sense of self, so everything happening as it is but without the “illusion” of self. Then we would have no problems because nobody would feel like they exist so they wouldn’t suffer. It’s like how a rock doesn’t mind being thrown onto the ground and split in two because it has no illusiory self awareness. What if humans where the same. There would be nobody suffering. Maybe that is already the case, that nobody is suffering because there is nobody ~actually~ but it certainly feels that way, so what if it didn’t feel that way
  9. @Salvijus I’m curios to hear what you think is “the most intense thing a person can do”
  10. I had a massive “shift/awakening” a while before this happened so that’s why I think I sensed that he had it too I believe that’s what explains this. I have met others I’ve talked to and laughed with while working but not felt what I felt with this encounter in particular , and we didn’t even talk only look each other in the eyes deep
  11. There’s a song called 3 strikes it’s Kylie jennets commercial it’s pretty good
  12. What is “average level of awakening” even? so he couldn’t recognize it purely through “presence” and gaze ? I agree that awakening is not free ticket to developing your capabilities as a human. That’s why we have “non dual” teachers that act quite normal. I personally have had telepathy for example, that’s an ability that everyone with an awakening doesn’t have and people without having awakening could have it probably in some cases. Maybe awakening helps in exploring these capabilities idk tho Good response btw! I’ve been digging your responses of the few I’ve seen on this forum
  13. I just felt a connection like I’ve never felt before. Note that this was AFTER my own shift/awakening, before that I wouldn’t be able to “sense” anything probably. It was like an “open connection”. Why wouldn’t looking into eyes be a good way? Eyes can say so much
  14. I can’t explain it, I just felt a connection that I had never felt before while looking into his eyes and I think he felt it too by the way he looked . Note that this happened AFTER my own massive “shift/awakening” before that I wouldn’t be able to sense anything probably
  15. I think I needed my own “shift/awakening” to be able to recognize it, before that if I saw that guy I probably wouldn’t have “sensed “ anything
  16. Why does it have to be ego? It can be genuine. Similarly to how someone might spot a dangerous person with their “gut feeling”
  17. Sounds a bit outlandish but who knows I’m open to it
