Just be polite and don’t contribute to the conflict. Not much more you can do

Once during sleep paralysis vibrational state a female voice told me suffering is love so I believe it . Nature of reality is love it’s said . -

I’d say I agree -
My mind is quite quiet a lot of the time, there are large gaps between my thoughts. I don’t feel more present because of it though. It’s a bit unclear what it means to “become here and now with absolute focus”. What do I do? Where do I direct my attention? For example during my meditation today I focused my attention on my breath. That is an action I can take, directing my attention. How do I “become here and now?

Many people haven’t even been presented the idea that the self could be “illusion” so it’s hard to say how they would respond to it. More people should hear about it so that they can make a choice whether to pursue enlightenment or not. -

You don’t see others and the world in an objective way, you see your own mental projections as an overlay on the world, as a lens, as a judgement of everything , so in that sense you’re living inside your own mind. But your mind is part of the collective mind, so it’s also shared with others, you have similar mental projections like others do. So you are in a sense alone with your mind, your mental projections. Doesn’t mean other people are mental projections, but it acts like an overlay on them, on the “objective” world. Dissolving this means dissolving yourself -
What did you write I don’t know which one it is

Is that the essence of his teaching?
-
So if I wanna find out I should consume his content again

How would one practice simply being?
-
It was such a long time ago I read his book so I don’t remember exactly how he preached it. I did do this thing though of putting like ridiculously large amounts of alarms throughout the day and stopping to breathe deeply and close my eyes at every one of them. Also trying to take moments to breathe deeper in general so you could say yes
-
I did practice spiritually in the past so yes. The 2d sense is due to extreme degrees of self dissolution but it sounds too weird to talk about
-
Did I say that a long time ago? Because I did do some practices in the past. For example his body scanning before bed. Then I also used to meditate every day. Present is a little tricky word, I would say I’m okay at being present
-
Okay I see.
-
What do you mean? Like how your loved ones progress determines yours
-
I suppose this will be a loooong road. I’m steadily increasing my meditation time. My goal is to eventually do something like 4-5 hours a day. How about you?
-
I just did that lol😂 I don’t know if I would call that boredom, maybe it is now you say it. It’s so hard to not look at the phone from time to time
-
Same.

I would agree. We are made to interact with the world, I’m just built different.
-
I didn’t mean you were I like it too when I can talk filter less so that includes being able to talk about deeper things
-
Yea that’s kind of what I wrote about in another reply. My guess is that they are the boring ones…
-
I cant be bored because I enjoy my own mind (when I’m more connected to myself and can even hear my thoughts). I’m guessing you and the average person is more outwardly focused so affected by outside circumstance so you derive joy from outward circumstances which is totally normal so you’re bored when something interesting isn’t happening externally that you can involve your mind in
