  1. I’ve also found working with mindset helps to reduce stress around my issue. Although as I said I find it difficult to maintain a strong mindset at times when things get harder. That’s kind of the definition of being strong, its supposed to be hard
  2. It’s a form of self expression Have you yourself mastered a kind of mindfulness technique or something where pain is no longer suffering? Because for me pain is equal to suffering. And it is located in the body. That I would agree with. Those are all valid questions. I understand it can be hard to comment on something when one doesn’t know what the person is going through. You said :”Regarding thinking, a much deeper activity is occurring beneath the surface of your experience. Look at any small object in front of you and notice how the mind immediately brings up associations, meaning, stories, and use relative to the perception of the object. This isn't usually recognized as such, but is nonetheless occurring. This could be called part of the activity of thinking. So, you can see it isn't just a superficial thing that happens independent of your conception (see, another activity) of an objective, external reality. “ Something happened with the quoting so I put it like this instead. I did a little observation and I didn’t notice my mind bringing up those things relative to the perception of an external object. My mind tends to be very centered around me (I know it sounds narcissistic but it’s the truth) so maybe another “object” that could be included here even if you didn’t consider it, is the object that I am. Or maybe I’m a subject. But nonetheless I notice my mind making a lot of thoughts referring to my SELF, as if I’m an object. This is a significant activity of thinking. I dont think I create my self. I’d say that my self is here as a SENSE of self, but my mind can be thinking about it. But I’m open to the possibility of creating my own state partly, at least contributing to it. I find by changing my own mindset I can sometimes bring less stress to myself. To a certain extent. I’m def apathetic 😹 One of my issues is that I have practically zero emotional life. So for now I can’t make myself experience those things. Not that I’ve tried every method there is out there; but I don’t even know what method I could try to try to bring those things about. I experience that I can have some influence over my own experience, through for example working with mindset as I said. That’s one way. But certain things I experience that I can’t affect, for now at least. Btw I can say i am going to the doctor and taking meds with my struggles, so that’s another way of taking responsibility, even if it includes external influence. Once again it can be hard to comment on someone whom you don’t know what they’re going through.
  3. So basically eat almost like a cow for best nutrients😹 a bunch of leafy greens Good sharing btw
  4. I don’t know anything about that so I can’t say anything
  5. I looked up what integral said and couldn’t really find anything When I’ve astral projected sometimes it can be like floating to the ceiling idk if that’s what you mean I have only seen something scary a few times. The most scary one was when I was a child I had sleep paralysis and saw a woman sitting on my bed with her hand in the air ready to punch me. That was after I woke up from a dream of a similar woman messing with some cut up heads
  6. Didn’t know. I’ll look that up.
  7. Yes I’m on ssri and anti psychotic currently. When I had the most sleep paralysis I wasnt on these meds though. Perhaps epileptic medication because I was on it when I was younger but I don’t remember exactly what year I stopped taking it, if it was before or after the period with the most sleep paralysis . But that could maybe contribute.
  8. I want to openly apologize if I’ve ever been disrespectful or when I’ve violated the rules somehow
  9. Cool. I learned how to enjoy it too. It’s quite easy to snap out of it I find, the way is to wiggle toes or fingers kind of Did you notice something changed? Like changed sleep pattern. Do you think you know why you don’t get it anymore
  10. I’m not scared at all of sleep paralysis I can actually enjoy it. I have been scared only a very few times. I find the things you hallucinate reflect your inner state. So if you are scared you’re more likely to hallucinate something scary. And if you’re calm like me you’ll have no or very neutral hallucinations
  11. I don’t feel that for myself. I don’t feel particularly stressed nowadays. I was more stressed in my past though, and used to have it more often then so maybe there’s something to it
  12. Crazy that your family would just kick you out like that. I don’t know the circumstances so can’t judge but sounds quite toxic. The only thing I could say is that in the situation you’re in you can’t really have high expectations on a job you gotta kinda take what you can.
  13. Sounds great. You mean you feel energized afterwards?
  14. I don’t know about that. What I lowkey believe though is that you can encounter spirits and entities during sleep paralysis that are real and not your imagination. I’m sure it has happened to me at least once. I believe it too. What do you mean by disembodied spirits? I don’t believe I have outside influence influencing my system
  15. Your work is like no other
  16. You needing to ask us this question is a red flag in your chance of becoming world class.
  17. You’re literally a child it’s not too late at all
  18. I’m not sure I get what you mean. Are you genuinely afraid you’ll go to hell if you don’t believe firmly in Jesus ?
  19. Why do you have to believe at all? Why can’t you just let it be an open possibility. Maybe Jesus was that guy, maybe not. You can pick out for yourself the valuable parts from the scriptures of Christianity and disregard the rest. Same with new ageYou don’t have to necessarily find a firm position between them.
  20. Those are all good reasons. Whole food is always the best I dont have a plan of going vegan, but I might try it out sometime. The reason being it seems to me atleast a tad bit healthier to include some animal products to make sure you get all the variety of nutrients in a more balanced way. Maybe it’s true or not, it’s what it seems to me. I will though try to buy more organic animal products, grass fed since it’s better for animals and environment
