What do you think stealing is? Greed is just that. You wanting something that is not yours is the definition of greed. Take for example a guy wanting the girl of another guy or vice versa; now isn't that just greed?

Of course he is free to choose to do it or not. Nobody can take away his freedom to do it or not away from him. But for sure you and a lot of other people do not want him to kill himself because you love him and you will be hurt if he chooses to do it. You still can tell him about these and in the end the decision is his to make whatever you do if unfortunately he decides to still do it remember that it's not your fault you did everything you could to prevent it. But when it's still not happened yet let's try to prevent it from happening as best as we can. Tell him you'd miss him if that happened and all the others who love him will also miss him and be in pain maybe he'll change his mind. Don't put any pressure on yourself just do as your heart says in helping him.

I don't know which circles you have been in but I see both being discussed in spiritual circles actually. Sure some might neglect some human aspects sometimes there are those too. But in general both are there as I see it.

Allah is the same as God why would you change the name just say God because some might think it's different. There are sayings in Islam that says don't think about what God is because it's not possible to know the whatness of God. You can only know that He Is; and also some attributes of Him in relation to the world. (Like He is Loving, Just, All-Knowing, All-Powerful etc...) But if you want to know what He is the best thing you could say is that He is not like any "thing" or He is no-"thing".

Of course God has the ultimate authority , power, mastery and control. So He cannot be impulsive ever. He's self aware.

Appearances are not limitless. That which does not appear or disappear is. Which is pure existence with no shape or form.

OK what did I say? Contemplation naturally leads to that ultimately. And I said about how to not feel like contemplation is hard.

It's not hard if you go into it from a place of real deep interest in finding answers and also give yourself rest and freedom from the answers if you can't find the answers at times.
