  1. As someone who has a masters in AI, I disagree. AI does indeed have limitations that humans don't have and to be honest not all of the hype is true. There are some extremely impressive AI that have come out relatively quickly but they are special cases. The reason they work so well is because they have access to insane amounts of high quality data and their task can be reduced to a system with an input and output. The current machine learning methods have a lot of computing power and memory but they aren't very smart in the conventional sense. Machine learning engineers spend a fuckton of time tuning specific hyperparameters so the AI can learn anything. The reason Chatgpt and dalle are so impressive is because the people that made the them were insanely smart and well funded. Not the AI itself. Thats not to say AI will never be able to catch up to humans. Just that its gonna be a while before it does.
  2. I mean, its clearly not obvious to about 60% of young guys on the internet judging by the #freetate comments they make.
  3. I've spent a large portion of my life thinking that I was broken and needed to be fixed so I could become normal like everyone else. This entire self improvement journey was a quest to somehow 'fix' myself. Maybe I'm not broken. Maybe I never was.
  4. I think Andrew Tate is a different breed. He is both more toxic and more popular than any pickup artist I've ever seen. He's also not primarily just pickup as he promotes get rich quick schemes and conspiracy theories. Pickup artists are stage orange wheras Tate is stage red.
  5. No, if you look at a lot of spiritual influencers, they tend to flatten out at green, sometimes regressing to orange and blue when they get into conspiracies.
  6. This is the best thing i've made so far. I imagine its what Leo sees then he watches porn on 5-Meo DMT.
  7. I've been reading some buddhist teachers talking about Nirodha-samāpatti. They describe it as a complete cessation of all consciousness. Like blipping out of existence. Daniel Ingram states: ''It is not that nirodha samapatti is necessary, but it is a good and useful thing to be able to attain. In fact, I have not yet spoken with anyone who had attained it who didn’t consider it the absolute King Daddy of meditation attainments other than arahantship, as the depth of its afterglow never fails to impress and amaze'' i have also heard people like Frank yang and others on this forum state that it is a higher level to God realisation (which is actually only the 6th Jhana). My current intuition is that God realisation and infinite love are the highest awakenings but cessation both interests me and kind of scares me. Absolute infinity vs absolute nothingness Is there anyone that has experienced both cessation and God realization? And if so which one is the higher one?
  8. python is the primary language for most AI applications so if anything you might me a step ahead.
  9. I recommend Internal Family systems therapy. Its really useful for shadow work and gaining awareness into your subconscious thoughts.
  10. Self esteem is easier said then done. It requires you to dig deep into yourself
  11. Here is an interactive neural network you can visualize and play with : https://playground.tensorflow.org/ I have a masters degree in AI so I have quite a lot of resources for learning about AI. If you're interested, just message me.
  12. 3blue1brown has a really intuitive series on neural networks (The basis of deep learning)
  13. If you actually want to learn the underlying principles of machine learning in detail, statquest is a good place to start. https://www.youtube.com/@statquest
  14. wouldn't cessation be the end of the dream? since reality blinks out of existence?
  15. Ah i see. I think genetics determine a decent amount of our personality and behaviours so it likely has a significant effect on consciousness
  16. This is a circular argument. You are assuming that consciousness is determined by physical interactions and you demand scientific evidence which is by definition physical.
  17. definitely! inner work is difficult but so worth it
  18. Honestly, just that realisation alone puts you above 99% of self help enthusiasts.
  19. This is why you beat your dick 100 times before you meet so it doesn't affect you... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  20. How did you reach this state?
  21. Holy shit I think I've experienced this. It's the most intense awakening experience i've ever had where I had the most intense ego death I had ever experienced followed by me leavning my physical body, moving through a tunnel into a white light of infinite love. I was there for an infinite period of time as time was meaningless there. I was then thrust through another tunnel back into physical reality.
  22. epistemologically yes but ontologically no. which is what i was talking about
  23. Its better than absolutely nothing but you won't be very good compared to pretty much anyone that trains.
