  1. @Loving RadianceHe is caring for equality for men. He wants society to care for men as well. So they at least don't perform so bad academically. Boys fall behind girls in every western nation. And its getting worse and worse. This should be a subject of feminism. But they don't seem to walk their talk. Overall he is just disagreeing with how to reach fairness. He critiques other feminism subjects too , so that makes him very controversial of course.
  2. @Tetcher Old stuff. I only placed this because it is clearly a more thorough study. It debunks the links you send. Correlation is not causation.
  3. @Thought Art One of the big critiques was the Peterson was only blue, some orange and with a big green shadow and a dash of yellow. Leo said Jordan doesn't care and only says, get your act together , things are not fair. And jokes in this thread as how simple he thinks this idea is. " Lobster!" In reaction I sent how Peterson as a psychologist has helps lots of men get their act together. The video shows about how big the crisis is with men, men are dropping out at staggering rates and how little is needed to fix it. And how Peterson deeply cares about this. While a big group calling themselves feminist are only busy with the women's side and how toxic men can be. You can for example see this feminism bias on how bad males are performing in education and you not knowing this. Or how there are no men shelters , while yes men get abused in relationship a lot too. Peterson only disagrees with how equality of opportunity can be reached. And a lot of democrats don't like to be critiqued so they make strawman's out of what Jordan is saying. Jordan also says that it will not be reached equality, so deal with it. You cant for example give all children parents that are academically equal. Or you will have to pull the family out of each other. But education of parents is an really important factor for success that children have. So on an individual level deal with it. And be grateful even (applies to most people not all) , you are in a special place in the world and history, it could be much worse. Why does he say this? Because he sees great suffering if you deal with it another way. And that advice is meant on the individual level not societal level. Making this into a Peterson doesn't give shit about equality is a mischaracterization meant for comforting democrats.
  4. @Windappreciator Stop dodging the subject, with useless attacks, its derailing the discussion. I had very specific critique on why Jordan is very Green as well.
  5. First read my fragment about how he mischaracterized him with the short video of Jordan crying. Which I posted in this thread. Otherwise the discussion is not productive.
  6. @Windappreciator No I helping him.
  7. @Thought Art Yeah he only tweaks important stuff, so Leo comes out on top. And the other side can't respond. It's not fair at all. Leo just tries to look like he is fair. That's something different. Leo doesn't want to understand. He attacks me as being a zen devil when he doesn't like my critique.
  8. Above contradicts below @Leo Gura You deeply wrongly characterized him as uncaring about inequalities. He cares deeply and cries often about the massive and unnecessary pain of men. The crises is very deep. Men are fleeing academia in a high speed, because of this. How can you say he is not well green developed? Why do men count less nowadays? If men lose, all genders lose. He is ahead of the herd.
  9. @Godishere That's not convincing at all. Stimulate the temporal lobe and you will feel like everything is immense important and god. Doesn't mean there is something really important to it. He needs to convince dummies like me not if he wants much people into this? If it is convincing I need to stop all my meditation immediately, then they are a big waste of my short life. And take that stuff instead.
  10. @Leo Gura Then Leo will be confronted with how he tweaked Jordan Petersons message. He doesn't like that.
  11. @martins name Healing Tao is a popular qi gong system: This is a qigong that is focused extra on spirituality: There are quite some qigong systems and practices.
  12. @Leo Gura Yeah but how do you know psychedelics have truth too them? I am not saying your are wrong. But how are you so sure. If you want to get dum people like me too your place it would be nice if you could explain why this is different with this psychoactive substance. Psychoactive substances can make things look important that are not for people not taking them. For example after drinking. Just because it gives such a profound feeling, doesn't mean its true. Why are you so sure? Just because it looks a bit like non duality teaching , that could be just a coincidence.
  13. Cool this makes it much more attractive to me this way of presentation. Now I am going to watch some of these.
  14. @whatishappeningtome So now you are indoctrinated too the other side? Jordan would easily debunk the first part of the video.
  15. @Leo Gura Nah Jordan is a very caring man for equality. He is a psychologist who has helped with lots of lives. You are making a caricature of him. He wants change also. Look at this short video about how feminism should change. When he says such stuff you say, this is more meant on a personal level. You can complain that the judge took away your kid while she is the abusive one, but it wont help you. You then need to face reality that men count less on this subject and that feminist fake interest but are mainly concerned about women and that they wont be empathic to you. This is the place society is at. You do need to get your act together. Clean your room(mind). He is needed, he serves a purpose.
  16. @Hello from Russia Lol. I watched Leo an hour and I don't think he fully understood what conservatives think. Its a too simplistic characterization of Jordan viewpoints. For example linking Jordan that he out of lack of empathy doesn't wants to rectify the past. That's such a distortion of what Jordan would say. You just haven't understood him yet. Conservatives have nuances and critique about how progressives want to have equality. Its trickier than meets the eye. A lot of ways to do it simply don't work in the real world or worse damage the situation. Not watching the rest of the video. I am against mixing spirituality with politics.
  17. @bejapuskasNot true. Feminist dont walk the talk. Dads dont get a lot of free time when having a baby. They don't have the same rights , especially with custody. Its simply not true. They have a big pressure to do the men role and be the provider or risk being seen as a loser. You are taking a selective example. Which has lots of media attention, which is acknowlegded. Men are abused in relationships in a big extent too. Which is not acknowledged , see the shelters. Saying men are buthurt for dying in wars, for losing their children, for gettig abused in relationships, for working al their lives shitty jobs just to provide, doesnt sound to respectfull to me. The story that the world is dominated by patriarchy has had a real damaging effect. It was dominated by the need to survive. Fathers and mothers made sacrifices. Most fathers gave up for filling jobs for paying jobs to make their generations safer. Calling this male privilege's and male domination is so destructive! From monologue to dialog!
  18. @bejapuskas Why would I let myself and men named the big bad patriarchy and women the good equal feminist. No thank you. In practice they don't free the men, have enough eye too it. I really appreciated the new book of warren how the fatherrole is essential in many ways for boys/children to grow up and how the things fathers do are underappreciated. Feminism with its one sided view did that. As an example rough and tumble play is essential to learn boundaries , learn how to play as a child, learn that everybody has to have fun or the play ends, create a more intimate bond with father. But this kind of play is not looked on upon positively by a lot of women. Which is one of the reason man can retract from the parenting. And children who havnt learnt to play are less attractive for their peers. We do agree on that we both want equal rights. If one gender loses, both lose or in a family the whole family loses. We need to have enough focus on all sides.
  19. @StarStruck Or just watch the free film I gave a link to earlier. Which gives you enough examples of Mainstream feminism. Which clearly demonstrates a male empathy gap.
  20. @ShinThen don't start them, going into personal attacks. Its a waste of time. You are only repeating the dynamics , just like how they tried to cancel the mens rights film. Its a truth that is disconfortable for you. For me its not, I love breaking down old thinking. No way of saying will not trigger some.
  21. Nope its just your identification with feminism. If your arguments are not succesfull start blaming it on others trauma! My o my. Stop putting in useless elements of the discussion. Look whos talking! Not saying that. Do say feminism has not walked the talk on the male side of things. They need more pressure to start to look from it from mens side also. And then I am talking about America, not my country. We are more nuanced.
  22. @Carl-Richard I thought you left? Welcome back then. The average men can do nothing about that. Are playing a blame game? How insensitive you are to men's pain. Its more a rich abusing the poor story than your patriarchy story. Men objectifying and sacrificing themselves doesn't seem so powerful to me.
  23. @ShinWow you have no idea what this does to people. Big life dramas. You seem to have an empathy gap towards men. And also this demonstrates the narrative that is told to men. To be disposable and bribe them with honor, so they are willing to give away there lives. Men are tricked into this, with films about so called hero's in war. War is one useless big tragedy , but in the movie when mens limbs and heads are cut of a bright music gets played. Its learnt disposability
  24. @Carl-RichardNo I am challenging the main stream narrative and the reason this is difficult is because of group processes, exactly like I said in the sociology topic, the weaknesses of sociology. Are you saying it is not the American men who die at the wars abroad? See you later.
