@Breakingthewall Right at the beginning you said you are the 'flow' of reality. This does seem to imply that you are identifying your true nature with something that changes. Are you not the changeless One ?

But you can say that about anything. Is the truth dreamed or imagined, that in order to get milk from the fridge, i need to walk to the fridge, open it, and take the milk out. These clever games dont change what needs to be done.

I hear you, my point still remains, you did the work. This guy is saying there's no work to be done, which simply isn't true.

My question is, how is this guy being helpful to someone starting out on their spiritual journey. You said yourself that you have done the work. This guy is basically telling people there is no work to be done. Im sure his teachings have their place and purpose. Im pointing out that these teachings can also be dangerous and misleading.

Well, at least you are saying that investigation is required. The point is that we have a whole lot of concepts and psychological issues that cause us unneccessary suffering. These also need to be investigated, if we want to be at peace. Simply having the realization that you are not the doer etc is not enough.

He's basically saying there's no inner work to be done. These types of teachers need a slap in the face.

Yeah, hopefully the US gets a Bernie Sanders type president for at least the next two terms. And if things go well, it might even be a longer term shift in a more compassionate direction.

I think a lot of Christians walk around with doubts. The biggest one is the belief that you only go to heaven if you believe in Jesus as your savior. Which means Christians are suppose to look at Buddhists doing loads of good deeds, and secretly believing them guys are going to hell. That one alone must cause some doubt for a lot of people.
