Yes, it's inevitable. If there are advanced civilizations in other galaxies, which there undoubtedly are, they would have had to reach a certain level of peace in order to advance. Think of those advanced civilizations as being like earth's future selves.

@Adodd Spiritual bypassing tends to be linked to the concept of 'staying with what is'. In other words to sit with one's pain and not to sweep things under the rug. But sometimes this so called spiritual bypassing can actually be a good thing. One can get stuck in just sitting with one's pain. So taking the counterintuitive route, and simply imagining a new past where you were infinitely fulfilled, can work wonders. A healthy combination of shadow work and bliss work is key.

Then as an adult becomes sexually attracted to the innocence of children. To become whole again the pedophile simply needs to connect with his own innocence. Looking for a more magical parallel reality, simply means there is some room left for acknowledging how magical things are already. I find that marveling at the simplest things in life with a childlike sense of wonder and awe works wonders. And then eventually we can just be walking down the street for example, but our internal experience might be: "Jesus Christ I'm walking !" Ecstasy for no reason can then become a natural part of daily life. And gradually most if not all of the lingering dissatisfaction melts away into the background.

The old ego based systems are collapsing. The world is being forced to wake up. True security is not about having a financial nest egg. If hyperinflation actually happens, even a billionaire couldn't do shit with any amount of money. A transition to a more harmonious world is on the way, and God only knows how Graceful that process will be. It might be a pretty wild ride the next couple of years. All the more reason to invest in waking up.

I hear you, it just seems like on Zoom one could still interact with an actual person's face, now it's going to be some cartoonish version. But I guess you right, it can't be stopped. I'm generation x, my eyes don't enjoy all these screens so much anymore.

Everything has it's positives and negatives, but I must say I'm struggling to find the positives in this one. Wearing a VR headset the whole day, not getting actual face time with people, seems like less and less connection. At some stage people are going to wake up and realize that this kind of technology really isn't making there lives any better. Steve Jobs said it's the best storytellers that have the power, like Walt Disney for example, but Jobs said he was tired of that bullshit and wanted to create a new narrative. Surely planet earth is capable of creating something a little bit more life affirming than the metaverse.
