  1. @flyingwhalee siddhis. I like them and find them interesting. Like, spiritual abilities that could be shamanic, stuff like that.
  2. Good te, creative, tall, not super overweight but a bit is fine, decent hygiene although I kinda like sweat and musk. Hmmmn, spiritual, masculine, annnd funny, but no need to be on stage 24/7. What else, kind to animals/likes animals, kind to women - ie if I go out to eat or am chilling, I don't want them barking orders at servers or something. Polite to service people. Knows what they want in life, can be in a room without needing to talk all the time. Medium energy, not super hyperactive as I am low energy and mellow. IDC about looks. Whatever. Ummm, can be happy on their own. Likes to do art projects. Mutual reliance and not codependency, or willing to work on it. Can deal with bipolar 1. I can be feisty in personality sometimes and it isn't always rooted in truth, but I am kind in action as much as I can be. Someone who doesn't try to take me off my meds. Someone okay with coffee and weed, and I am okay with what they wish to do but no hard drugs please. Someone who can be very objective and kindly frank. If something isn't rooted in reality, I need to know asap and I might ask questions to reality test myself. Like if an insight might lead me down the wrong road, and visa versa. Someone who has a siddhi is a plus. That's all I got.
  3. Yes, it is better to sleep in a colder room with blankets than a hot room with nothing. I would make sure your room is at the right temp. that is more comfortable for you w/ either a fan or a heater if you need it. My routine is two cups of coffee, then breakfast, then meds, then a walk around the block with the dogs if it isn't raining, then a bowl of high thc sativa w/ dabs, then I work out for ten minutes and I am awake and ready for the day. If you are not a coffee/tea or weed person, then getting a stair machine or treadmill and working out. If you have a dog, take it out first thing and walk around. If you are still having trouble with your sleep, talk to a sleep specialist, you should be getting a solid 8-9 hours of sleep, more if you are sick, under stress or have a mental/physical ailment.
  4. I'm not sure what that is, polyphase? Is that like, sleeping in two or more increments? I sleep from nine to ten pm to seven to eight am - bipolar - so I try to keep my sleep schedule as on point as I can as that's usually what can trigger it for people, and sleep extra, about 10-11 hours a night to help stay regulated and it works pretty well. I'm an advocate for long sleeps at night, so a person can go through the whole sleep cycle a few times a night - and I dream every night, whereas if I don't have a sleep schedule or don't sleep for a long enough time, then those dreams don't happen. I advocate a lot of rest for people who have mental or physical issues as this really helps to reset the body each morning. With two cups of coffee in the morn. as an added bonus, I am ready for more of the day. If you are thinking of cutting your sleep into parts, I would talk to a sleep specialist about that. They would probably say it is healthier to have one, long, full rest than many short ones, if at all possible. Just my 2c.
  5. Wow, I didn't know all this was happening, it's kind of fascinating how these events change history; I really hope it happens for the better, but as someone here said, gun reform didn't happen when the kids at Sandy Hook were shot, so it probably won't happen in this situation, either. I'll have to go through this whole thread as I don't have a fully formulated opinion on it yet - just learned about this yesterday. From what I have gathered, this kid went to a protest with a gun and was with a group of people because they wanted to bring some law and order to an unruly crowd; some looters saw him and followed him, attacked him when he ran, and he shot them. Is that pretty much the shortened gist of it? From my POV, both were in the wrong, but once the kid was in that situation, I don't know what other option he would have had and it is speculatory to assume that he would not have been followed if he did not have the gun. We simply don't know that, because that's not what happened. But a 17 year old kid really had no reason to be there doing the job of the police, and if you are not a cop, how would the crowd know? There have been so many shootings in America.
  6. Awwww, sorry to hear that! It's okay to relapse once in a while, it could happen to anyone. Just try again the next day and see how it goes, don't beat yourself up for being human. <3 Here's some advice if you are feeling like smoking, this guy does this for emotional responses, but it can be used as a segue to retrain your mind. Try this for one month five times a day, it takes only a minute or two to do, and do this when you feel cravings for things you don't want. Gl!
  7. @Ramzi08 That can happen, is she more extroverted? Sometimes extroverts get people crushes, and they will invest a lot for a while, but they need a constant amount of new people in their lives to be happy. Sorry that happened to you, it's the pits.
  8. I've met an alien before, I woke up to one in my room twice back in '12. It spoke to me telepathically before disappearing, I think they are in other dimensions altogether. The ones who can reach us, at least.
  9. I'm so sorry to hear you lost your pet, I know how hard that can be. I have lost so many over the years to old age and illnesses. Sadly, FIV is usually a life-ender and can happen if you find a kitten on the street and it has not been vaccinated against it. Cats make such loving pets, most people don't realize how much love these little guys have for their owners. You made the cat's life better, and think of it this way, when you give an animal love and attention, it will start to gain awareness of itself more, and so it will be reincarnated into a higher being with more awareness of what love is because that is what it was given. All about animal reincarnation ^ Your little pet may very well be on his next life to being a human! <3 *big hug* Sorry you lost your little one, I know how hard it is.
  10. I would wish that child abuse did not happen and that all children are raised by loving, stable parents. I think this would create a cascade of positive benefit from the wish. If the "and" was not allowed, then "I wish all children on this planet are raised by loving, stable people." This would make everyone loving and stable. Who is "people", all of us.
  11. To keep my parents and brother happy and to make sure my pets are not lonely. Family and pets keep me alive. If I didn't have them, I don't know... my fear is that if I leave early, then I will have failed my mission here.
  12. You shouldn't have to bend over backwards to maintain a friendship with someone. I had this happen to me in the mental hospital. I became close to someone quickly and they found a younger girl to connect to. They really avoided me then and got awkward, which it would not have been if they had just... chilled out; I had no qualms with the other person and didn't really care, but they had to go and make it awkward. Oh well... I just wanted a friendship, they thought I wanted more, I think. Anyways, if you have to jump through hoops and can't just "chill", then the friendship should probably take a backseat, keep her as an acquaintance, but you're not there to entertain her, either. Do you have any pets? If you are lonely and need someone to bond with, getting a dog or cat can be a big help. Plus, if you have a dog, a lot of times women will approach you to pet the dog. You can go to the dog park, make friends there, ect. As for filling up your cup - visualize a golden chalice in the the present moment and imagine you are filling it up with self love, from your heart, your chest, then imagine drinking it. Refreshing yourself, breathe deep. It is a feeling in your body - know that part of you is a small child, we all have this part, talk to it, tell it how much you care and love it and want to protect it. Nurture that small child. Try doing a few things a day just for you, out of self love, and keep love in mind as you do it, like a nice bath, or a good meal, or anything, really, that you would give to another, give to yourself.
  13. I would get that fear sometimes, too, it turned out to be a delusion from the bipolar. Went on meds and the delusion went away.
  14. My experience with ssris have been good side from some weight gain, but I plan to bring my exercise equipment to my new home over this December and tackle that. I have noticed benefit, less delusions, more stable personality overall. I have to stay on them because off of them I seem to become catatonic due to an imbalance of some sort, like I can't focus and I just feel stuck in my body. Interesting, what were you using ssris for? I take them for bipolar 1, so it is a bit more severe in terms of moodswings and delusions when on, but has more benefit than people with depression or bipolar 2, which I guess they get more of the depressed cycles, mine tend to be more either manic or catatonia rather than depression and mania like most. I use weed like syrian rue then, to get that bit of elevated mood and strong concentration and I use those 4-5 hours to learn new material. That's so cool that there are all these things out there that can help people and that there is something out there that allows people to have amazing dreams.
  15. @LSD-Rumi Okay, yeah I am on an ssri. In the future if I go off I will try them for sure. I've been having some really detailed dreams that I can't seem to remember most of when I wake up, but I have a lot of insights and awakenings in the dream and I'd love to bring one back one of these days. I feel like I am living a double life, because the dreams all have the same theme each night. What sort of interesting dreams have you had on syrian rue?
  16. @Rilles Yeah, it does take a long time, but to me, it feels the most humane, by the second or third generation they will be mixed in with the culture - but if they are partitioned off too much then the newer generations will not integrate as well; that's what happened in America when we partitioned off certain cultures, they developed subcultures and some of them stayed red/blue because of limited resources. If your country can provide good schooling and housing for immigrants, then by the third generation, they should be pretty much integrated. @Raze Awesome suggestions for the current problems.
  17. @LSD-Rumi I've heard of that, does it interact with other meds? I'll have to ask my doc about it.
  18. @PurpleTree Sure thing, I'm fascinated by dreams and love hearing the stories people have to tell when they wake up.
  19. Do you remember what the dream(s) was about? I wonder why that is, a lot of people have mentioned this, that they lose their dreams. Sorry to hear you are having a hard time sleeping. That's the worst.
  20. @Salvijus He's also looking for a teen.... .... ... .. ... so a youth to "mold". Gross, right? --------------------- Let people mold themselves, who are you to be talking about "molding" a young girl, seriously, wtf is wrong with you? Stay away from women... please. A teen to groom... basically.. is what you want.
  21. I agree, you need some blue to keep red under control. Red doesn't listen to reason, and most red can't progress farther than where they are at. Honestly, the best yellow tactic will be to focus on integrating the children of immigrants. So, proper education and access to resources. The second generation will have an easier time and are less likely to get radicalized if they have a fair chance.
  22. @PurpleTree A lot of people say this, but I have found that I get a lot of really complex, almost spiritually initiatory-like dreams - hard to remember the next day. They say weed messes with your sleep cycle, but I have found it helps me sleep a whole ten hours straight through, plus I must be getting the full amount because I'm dreaming every night. Are you trying a lot of new things, doing new things? Sometimes you cans top dreaming if your days are the same because there is nothing new for the brain to categorize. I've never found it boring, I am connected to God more easily when I smoke; am more creative, loving, all the good qualities you would want but without it being "too much" like some other substances can be. @Leo Gura You should def. give the pure THC a try and then contemplate on it. It is mild, but certainly a great tool when used right for opening your mind. I like to use weed when reading, listening to material that I want to incorporate into the heart, and when studying. Try sativa, it will work better than indica.
  23. That's a really good question; but I don't know. Wait... my health back.
