  1. I talked to my dad, he's gonna let me stay at home, he's gonna save the rent to give it back to me. I can build up credit, live frugally, and I'm enrolling in art classes. I'm also gonna get a job at a local college so I can make friends with college kids. I agree moving to Miami is brash, but the college thing has been on my mind for almost a year and I'm confident in that decision. thanks for the advice and please share any more thoughts.
  2. what about leos videos about college?
  3. we've had the discussions, they said if I'm not in college then I'm working full time and paying them rent. so I could stay home and save enough money but if I'm paying rent here, I might as well find roommates somewhere else. even though my dad screemed at me, we have discussed it for hours and we are ok now. I tried to convince them to support me in educating myself but they don't buy it. they think actualized.org is a scam or a cult, so for now I'm gonna have to go into wage slavery and work my as of for a little while so I can take the time to build valuable skills.
  4. Ide say don't a glass ceiling on yourself. Just because Leo says you can only do one at a time, doesn't mean you can't do more. that's a general prescription. I would say to push yourself. Just like lifting weights in the gym, do as much as you can and then a little more. Don't do less than you can just because Leo said to only do one at a time. If you have the extra time, why not do something productive? That being said that's just my perspective and I could be wrong.
  5. Thank you for sharing!! I'm glad you found your calling

  7. I can definitely relate to this feeling. Check out the fearless man on youtube. He is probably the best channel I have found for dealing with these types of issues.
  8. Thank you for sharing this. I am entering college at the end of the summer and will definitely consider this advice. Another good think would probably be to create independent projects to show to a corporation, especially if you are doing engineer like I am considering.
  9. I can definitely relate to your situation. I am an 18 y/o senior in high school who was planning on going to pen state for engineering. After watching Leo and his course I am having second thoughts. When I tried to talk to my parents about it they had a similar reaction. Their main questions are "how are you going to make money" and "how do you know you aren't gonna end up at burger king if you don't get a degree". It's hard to explain to them because they are not familiar with the big picture. When it comes to convincing them I don't know what to say because I'm struggling with that myself. My main concern is how long will it be before I am able to support myself with life purpose and what are my chances of actually making a living.
