Most ideologies come under the supposed notion that they are at a higher consciousness than the other. Like how communism is all about solidarity, love and compassion for the fellow man. But we all know how even the best philosophies, in theory, can be use in sinister ways. Or they just weren’t that in accord with the higher truths of reality after all. The problem with electing someone on their level of consciousness is that it can’t be quantified in any way.

It’s true that Fox News is not a news media outlet. But rather it seems to be a medium for viewers that have a lot of frustration and anger inside of them. It gives people things to be outraged about, it acts as a temporary outlet for that anger. People feel their anger is justified and verbalized through what the people on Fox say. Of course this strategy doesn’t help anyone in the grand scheme of things. It just breeds more hate and demonization.

For me, the answer to the question is resonance. If i feel that an answer resonates deeply with my inner being and that resonance can stand the scrutiny of real life obstacles, trials and tribulations. Then I can accept it. I am aware that this is not fool proof, there is a good chance for self-delusion and manipulation. But there is no real alternative. I think this is the art of life, finding the ultimate internal unshakable resonance which can stand every external situation. And this is not a linear and logical process, but it's the most spiritual process imaginable. This does not mean i don't factor in linear and logical thinking. But they are part of the decision making process, not the end all be all. Robots can do specific tasks very well, but they don't make for good leaders. -
I still think that our collective consciousness has a very unhealthy relationship toward sex, it's highly fixated. And a lot of addiction, shame, fear, guilt, anger is attached to it. People that have too much sex are demonized(players, pimps, sluts etc.), people that have too little sex are also demonized(beta, virgins, incels etc.). And there is no solution to this problem by trying to whipe out one side of the equation. In the extreme form, we historically know what happens when a side of the equation is forcefully whiped out(Nazi Germany). Like, forcing a society to become very celibate. Let's say where people can only have sex after marriage, and if they cheat they are stoned to death. Or the alternative, an anarchic society where rape and public sex is encouraged, and everyone that doesn't want to have that much sex gets stoned to death. Both of these options will obviously create problems in society. There are strong parallels with the obesity epidemic in the western world(especially the USA). Serving people only donuts, greasy food, candy etc. isn't going to help. Nor will putting people on a restricted low calorie diet for the rest of their lives. The solution lies deeper, not on the surface level. And the solution is the same just for most other problems in life. Raising the consciousness of the population. We don't do that by demonizing people. But we try to understand them and think with the people. An enlightened master doesn't shame and judge his students they aren't enlightened. He understands where they are, and slowly lifts them up.

I'm going to offer a different perspective and say you should not change yourself out of insecurity. There will always be people that won't like you, won't think you are good enough. They will want you to conform to their agenda, to how they think you should be. That's the way of the ego. And this mindset will hurt you in the long run. Because you are covertly a people pleaser. You are trying to please people at the expense of yourself. An alternative for you to do is to focus on becoming your best authentic self. And even when you are at your best, there will still be people that will dislike your, and like you. But the commonality all people have that are at their best is that they don't let their feelings and sense of self worth be led by what other people think of them.

I’m trying to empathize and understand the people for whom this is normal, but it’s hard. I don’t believe the Faroer Islands are an impoverished part of the world. So it’s not an necessary slaughter for survival. It’s especially hard to understand they hunt for such beautiful and intelligent animals as dolphins.

So you think sadhguru actually thinks meat and eggs are healthy for people, but he lied to them because he doesn’t want them to think badly of him. How do you know sadhguru is purposefully lying to the people?

And you are not biased?

I see consciousness as a helium balloon that automatically wants to go up gently and be free. But it’s pretty easy to tie down with your own inner resistance. So it’s your own blunt force resistance -which you are identified with- which is preventing your consciousness to go up. But this is just a word game. You need to actually experience it to get a feel for it -
What about 'thicc'. Can you call a girl that?

We don't really have the power to choose how an insult affects us if we are ignorant of the underlying insecurity the insult is aimed at. If someone insults me with something i don't identify with, it won't affect me. If someone calls me stupid, i don't really care because i'm not insecure about my level of intelligence. If I have certain attachments to my intelligence, I don't have a chance but to react when someone puts my intelligence into question. Because the insult is directly aimed at my identification, my ego. Yes, I can choose to act out. Or suck it up and deal with the reaction in my own internal world without acting out. But in both cases, the insult affected me.

In his latest video: "The Olympics is basically a cult..." Well, that made me chuckle

Of course the old lady is a hag but the way that young girl reacted it was clear she's pretty insecure and has to work on her self esteem. It took one person to call her fat and the girl lost it. It sounds harsh, but sometimes it's better to have a bully that exposes your insecurities in such a blunt way. Then for them to do it in a sneeky way behind your back.

Leo, please don't ever go full Sadhguru by making videos with Logan Paul, Will Smith, Demi Lovato etc. It would be too painful

Well first you have to have something you really want to express to the world if you want to have a meaningful impact. You have to see how the world can be better/more compassionate/fair/loving/conscious/etc. And you have to really embody that. Art can be an expression of that vision that you have, but so can starting a business, charity, going into politics, starting a Youtube channel etc. I think that if your conviction of the message you want to get across; the medium that you use is just something that suits your personality and the way you want to express it. One medium is not necessarily superior or inferior to the other. An artist can be just as influential as a company like Apple for sure. But you have to find your own message, and your own medium to convey that message. Which isn't easy. It really ties in what Leo calls his "life purpose". Changing the world, or influencing the world on a grand scale isn't easy, that's why so few people do it. But many try. Your heart and soul really have to be aligned to even have a shot at changing the world, or influencing society.

He should go on the Joe Rogan show. Together with Elon Musk and Joey Diaz. It would surely cause some kind of black hole in the matrix

I think it can be somewhat useful for people who are lost in life. Like a way for people to get something to hold onto. Like a religion can. But ultimately it has to be let go if the person wants to fully manifest his ultimate expression in the world. As every individual is a unique expression of infinite love. Trying to confine that expression within certain borders only stiffles that expression, assuming that person actually puts faith in archetypes to be real.

Cracking the whip on yourself is only a short-term solution, it's not sustainable. It will only lead to burnout. The only way to be effective long term is to have a sense of inner meaning and purpose to whatever you are doing. That has to be the driving force behind your actions. If you feel you lost it. Maybe try to regroup, meditate and get back to why your life purpose is important to you. Visualize your purpose. And don't let yourself be lost in the details, stay aware of the big picture.

You know what's weird? If someone has a physical illness. Let's say cancer, heart disease, motor-neuron disease. Something like that. People will shower that person will love, everyone will show him sympathy and wish him the best. Everyone will show how much they care. At least, that's good, that's how it should be. There are a lot of decent people out there that care about their fellow men. The weird thing is when someone has a mental illness. Clinical depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia etc. People will call that person a weirdo, a pussy, a poser, a loon etc. And he can basically fuck off to the nuthouse. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but I have literally seen these reactions a lot. Both in the media as in my own personal life. I think the awareness and sympathy is growing a bit in the mainstream media. But in real life, I see no such thing. And it saddens me because clinical depression can actually be worse than cancer and heart-disease.

That’s how every cult lures people in. “Unlocking your true potential power”. Empty promises. Ego loves to eat that carrot that is dangling in front of him, it is never enough.

They don't take themselves nor others too seriously. (Others moreso than themselves)

Well I love food. Therefore if I love myself I would not deny myself the pleasure of food. If you love food, just eat food. If you don't love food, but you love to look sexy naked. Don't eat food. Just make clear for yourself what you love and not so love.
