@Majed I've noticed that classical music culture has a toxic aspect: feeling superior to other kinds of music.
-
@bebotalk I think you are talking about entitled women. Entitled people are annoying sometimes.

@Ayham The grading system is so misleading. It promises you to have a good life, but you sacrifice your health, passions, etc. too much along the way, and you don't know what will happen after that. For some, it's a normal thing; either they like it or don't want to admit their situation. I don't like the glamorization, as if those who succeed are the most intelligent ones, but I understand that people have to survive somehow. If you can find some path to explore at the moment while also preparing for the exams, that'll be good. But the price could be getting low scores. If I were you, I would find an entry-level job or a way to minimize societal pressure on my decisions. You won't see that the competition is so stupid yet somehow important until you have some source of income. Also, if you score below 90, how will it affect your situation? What is the lowest score that you can have to pass?

Different stages?

Maybe in a different country, I can enjoy the benefits without being too careful. I'm open-minded about that.

I'm optimistic and hopeful, generally. I don't blame others for having friends. Nowadays, I'm not shy about being in the moment and enjoying and having fun with people. I just think very carefully about the price I'm going to pay, especially when it's about intimacy and belonging to some group.

TBH, I'm more happy alone. I was just saying that friends have an influence on you. Sometimes you just have to cut it off. If I could survive alone without friends, I would happily do it. But if I find someone I enjoy being with without depending on them too much, I'll be open-minded to being his or her friend. Although I can't promise because I find other things way more meaningful than having a friend, generally, it'll be bad for both of us. Or maybe I haven't found the right ones.

Having friends is overrated. 🥱

@MarkKol Where were you living back then? It's still on my list of countries to live in in the future.

@caspex How do you know if someone is a pedophile? -
He sounds like Dexter Morgan.

In my opinion, the AI is like a parrot with some kind of high level of intelligence based on the data it has been trained on.

To some degree, we can. Some people can get away from most of it, some not, depending on one's own situation, environment, belonging to some group, etc. Many people follow and believe what the Bible "tells" them, which may or may not be harmful, depending on the context. -

People celebrate their birthdays because they have been doing it since they were kids, which is different from knowing that it's pointless and doing it because you enjoy it. Either way, it's not harmful, unless you cut your finger while slicing up the cake. I bet people won't do it if they aren't encouraged and won't ever think about it, but not because they see it as pointless. -

Some people's values don't entirely align with one's own society's values. It's difficult to know how much you should give back. Most people are brainwashed, so it's easy for them to give back. Nobody owes one's society, and society doesn't owe anything to anybody, or the other way around. -
@Yimpa Thanks. But which ones do you prefer and/or think have the qualities I mentioned?

@Ramanujan To be more ambitious, I'd recommend listening to Gary Vee's motivational videos for a while. People who live in first-world countries won't understand your situation entirely. And please don't think in terms of black and white. Also, look at my previous post.

@Ramanujan If money is a problem, I can tell you how to get access to some learning platforms for free. The lifestyles in different countries are different. In less developed ones, they are more harsh. So, you have to be extra careful.
-
@Ramanujan Have you thought about getting an internship? Is that also difficult in India? I'm working with Indian folk who might have started as interns.

What the girl says in her videos is starting to make more sense to me. 😂 -
@mmKay Yes, but you use your imagination to make stuff up. In your experience, it doesn't exist. It would have been different if you had discovered something that you hadn't imagined existed.

@mmKay Creating an image in your visual field is a type of imagination. Imagination is also about changing how you interpret an experience, which is what I'm talking about.
-
@mmKay The things you can do to yourself with your imagination are wild if you have a strong imagination.

@CARDOZZO You can't reject, demonize, and be a part of the system, even a little bit. And reading the Bible will brainwash you rather than awaken you. And other things. I don't think he contemplates or thinks deeply.
