@Buck Edwards I think I might have misunderstood about the "social role" you're saying, but I'll reply anyway. I was talking about people wanting to fight during the war. I don't think that much about who should have which role. I'm more than fine with a person who wants some role that people don't think is or isn't supposed to be for him/her.

@Javfly33, do what you gotta do. I quit meditation 2 years ago, as it was getting more about sustaining my meditation habit and not getting results. I wasn't dealing with my life and being honest about my situation. I was deluding myself into thinking that being in a no-mind state is better. I rather have a mediocre life than meditate for years.

Those people believe having a child is a given. Not wanting a child is a disease, regardless if it's widespread or not. They are using the fear of humans going extinct to justify their hatred of people who can't or don't want to bring a child into the world. Also, it's not that they really care about the child.

I have significantly improved my English by using dozens of language learning apps available. I'd even go further and find paid apps for free (no one would be crazy to give me money, lol), as they're more likely to be of good quality. Although not all apps would be effective for your learning type.

@gambler Imagine a straight person not wanting to have a child, or maybe he/she wants to do other things in life or doesn't give utmost importance to it. How would a traditionalist react to it?

@Keryo Koffa, well, I didn't say not to show them at all. You can't be sure about that. Those kinds of movies are made for adults, which is not to say that young people shouldn't watch them. At least with vaccines, you can be informed about the side effects. People would rather be shitty to their kids to "teach a lesson" rather than to establish an understanding.

@Keryo Koffa, those are different things. What you do for their safety differs from what you show them to your liking. If your kids can't understand you or don't do what you want, would hitting them be your only option?

It's probably for the best that kids don't watch movies with that level of human cruelty and suffering.

I'm not even some crazy awakened like most people here, but the potential that he could become a self-aware, self-honest, open-minded person is such an unimaginable thing that after seeing the video I kind of want to somehow tell him that he has the potential.
